When we moved to Florida we bought a new Yamaha golf cart so not only could we drive around the neighborhood but also put accessories on it to haul our fishing equipment to all the lakes there. The batteries lasted maybe 3 years and I checked them for water all the time. It was kinda costly replacing them and then the charger went bad. At that time they didn't have this setup you have now, which makes better sense. We have been out looking at the different kinds of utvs but I don't know if I really feel like having another piece of equipment to take care of.
Great video 👍 so nice having a buddy like Phil a true true friend 👌 I have many acquaintance's but only one true friend 👍 really impressed with the performance that new battery pack has given it 💪 would be good to see a conversion done on the golf cart cos really they are pretty sluggish 🙄😕
I agree! He is a great friend and does excellent work! I learn a lot from him, but I do know that at least every now and then... He does learn something from me :) But hey, I'll take all the learning I can get! I hope we can get him set up to do his buggy next!! Cheers Bob thanks
Great ❤. Kapper for all that work you should award Phil with a set of those fancy wire strippers and clampers like I sent in email. I watched the you tube video and even seen how one can cut a spot in center of wire! Way better than reading instructions. Joe, does the fan cycle on and off? I figure it’s blowing hot air out, but don’t see any vents for air too come in, just curious?
Hey Brett! Yeah he deserves an award for sure :) But he has all the cool electrical tools already. Yes that fan kicks on/off on the charger but I don't think it is discharging much heat, but next time I plut it in I'll check. But it does not run while the buggy is in operation. But there is good air flow under the seat as there are a couple open spots below. Thanks man have a good one
Wondering how long ago you did this and any issues? I read somewhere to lookout for amp draw on the Intimidator machines but looks like it worked for you. I really want to try this. Mine is same except the newer model but everything looks same inside except mine has lcd screen.
It's like night and day from the old system. Unreal is all I can say. I highly recommend an upgrade if you can afford it. And it does not cost a lot more than a whole new set of lead batteries so to me its a no brainer. Best of luck if you decide!
Shucks, while they're giving you FREE STUFF, get em to give you another one and put it on the other side. You'll have enuf power for the side by side and to run lots of stuff in your house when the grid goes out. Especially if you get a couple solar panels to charge the batteries for ya. ps...I don't think the 6Million Dollar Man sound effects works for either of you guys any more!! lmbo
lmao I think we are pretty 'super!' At least in my mind!! :0 We do tend to get a lot accomplished in any given day or week :) But I like the idea of dual Red battery packs!!
Well compared to the price of a whole new lead acid set to me its a no brainer. A bit more cost but they are supposed to last a lot longer and have much more power. I'll keep testing it this fall! Thanks man appreciate it
Great battery upgrade, a big torque increase for sure! A battery upgrade to Phil's golf cart would be a good plan!
Do the conversion guys! Nice to have friends that help out!
I hope we can! Thank you!
Don’t you love how he said we did when Philip did all the work
lol that's what friends are for!!
Great install!!! Glad it works for you Kapper
That thing rocks man! Total night and day compared to the old battery pack!! Thanks

lol well good luck whatever you decide! It is nice to have a buggy though to get around on :)
I love seeing the changes.
Me too! Thanks. It is always a good feeling when you can accomplish something each day! Love it!
Phil does nice work.
Yes he sure does!!

Yes, i'm thinking this one is a little bit under powered.I'm still working on it
I have two intimidators I love them . How is yours on hills noe ? I want to do this on both
Stand fast, i'm not sure it's enough energy.
I would like to see it .I'm thinking of doing my 48 volt huntve

Loved the routine at 8:50 to 9:10. Reminds me of the old "Looney Tunes". I was looking for Elmer Fudd.🤣
oh man now I have to go back and look at that spot!! LOL
@@kapperoutdoors I thought you were doing that for the laugh. The kitchen sink and a rubber duck could've been there.
@@ScottfromNB oH YES you are right! Wish we had a rubber duck handy!! Thanks man!
Supercharged stealth buggy!
BAM!! Like Batman! lol. That thing really MOVES now! Unreal the difference, just amazing!
I guess Phil is part of the Brotherhood😁
For sure!!
Do the golf cart. I have one in need of a better battery system.
Is this a homemade electric conversion
No, it is all manufactured. Vatrer Power. The links are in the description of the video
Next time you need to push something, put an old tire between the two buggies
Roger that, but I don't think he had one! He keeps his place and yard neat as a pin!!
@@kapperoutdoors Just had a ad for Vatrer, and it was your video
@@modkartracer3358 Oh wow! I'd love to see it! Not sure how I could find it though lol.

Crane hoist will save your back
Yep it would. I know he just put in a ceiling winch hoist recently but not til after we did this! He is quite prepared!
Great video Joe! I have a 2016 Club Car golf cart, I may change to lithium when my lead acid battery’s wear out!
