    Sarah! These ideas are just what I needed. I was recently diagnosed with protein losing enteropathy - my gut kicks out protein! So I need to up my intake and love the ideas to do so without protein powder. You're a gem! Thank you!!

    I love that Hatch Valley Green Chili Salsa from TJ, but I do enjoy extra spicy food in general. You must try Lucky Habanero Salsa sold at Sprouts and some farmers markets-they have a mild version and is my favorite salsa brand (I opt for the Dragon Lips flavor). Love your recipes and positive energy! PS. I hoard tins and jars too-it is all about Reusing, Repurposing, and Recycling! 😉

    I loved this video so much!!! I'm currently a vegetarian and although I'm well aware there's tons of high protein foods available I still sometimes have trouble actually coming up with yummy and healthy meals.     i love your videos so much and I'm not vegan but you've inspired me to try out these meals. They look so yummy and I never knew you can actually get enough protein from a plant base diet. I tend to workout 5 days per week and will definitely be switching some of my meat protein for these delicious alternatives. Because of you I started eating tofu because you're recipes are so easy to follow and delicious thank you!!!

    I just made this burrito and it was amazing! I added cumin and chili powder to the spices for extra kick. I used a spinach & herb wrap and put a thin layer of black bean hummus and vegan sour cream. Then I topped that with salsa and lots of Tabasco because I love spicy...then put the filling in. It was amazing! And versatile. It can be a late morning weekend breakfast or a quick lunch or dinner.

    When i was lifting heavy i had trouble meeting my protein goals. Thx for the ideas!!!! After losing 70 lbs it makes me nervous not to count calories, but im going to try that. Lot less stress for sure!

    I know the texture is not the same, but have you tried *parboiled* brown rice? It cooks so much quicker and it's as nutritious as normal brown rice.

    Hi Sarah, I love your vlogs! I'm actually new to your channel and recently transitioning to vegan. It was my first full week last week and on Friday I was literally craving Red meat. I've been making sure I eat oatmeal, bran and rice to get my b12, iron and other vitamins and I'm wondering if you know what I might have known what I needed and which food source I could eat? I take a good multivitamin and omega 369 and I workout with weights 4x per week and lift quite heavy and I'm quite lean and I deplete quickly xx

    OMG I LOVE NADAMOO ICE CREAM!!! I live near Austin where the company is based so I thought they were only local but I'm so glad you found some! They're my favorite vegan ice cream, all flavors are bomb but my #1 is salted caramel :-)

    Hey Sarah! Try the Trader Joe's Serrano Salsa Fresca! It's suuuper yummy, and is fairly mild. Found it in the cold case last time I went shopping, and I did a little happy dance when I tried it! (Warning for those who hate Cilantro, because this has it!)

    I'm always really sceptical about tofu. I remember buying it a few years ago..I bought silken tofu - not knowing about different types - and had no idea what to do. That burrito looks delicious...I may be tempted to try it again.

    What foods are high in methionine and lysine?? Please dont say seitin as that is pure wheat gluten and cant eat that. (Testing if ok with rice though). Am not vegen but eating healthier again (though quite a few of the foods listed are very high oxalates (almond,chia, spinach, chocolate) which body doesnt handle reall well). Thanks for vids to inspire ideas for meals, love playing with food.

      Nutritional yeast is a great source for B vitamins in general. Some plant milks are also fortified with it.

    Just had soy curls with fried ramen and it tasted delicious. Amazon has a 3 pack and its a good meat replacement. Once a cup soaks in water or broth then they look exactly like chicken stir fry strips. The texture is definitely on point with chicken.

      Gusti Scarlett lots of people don't consume oil because it makes them feel lethargic/crappy and there's plenty of other ways to get full fats like from chia or flax seed!

      Mostly I'm just used to cooking without it -- I was strict HCLF for awhile. In most cases I don't miss it at all, like for sauteeing things. Nowadays I get a lot of fats from whole sources (nuts, seeds, etc.) but I will sometimes use coconut oil, like in the cookies. :)

      Hoping to make more videos showing my workouts soon! For now I have one up (a couple back) with an upper body workout. These days, I do back/biceps on one day, chest/shoulders/triceps on another, and legs separately. I mix it up a little every time.
