- I like to try out Mcdonalds and burger king in different countries, but this fast food was by far one of the worst ones I've had.
Here's my review and comparison of Europe's McDonald's and Burger King in Paris.

@@eksine I was referring to the fact that he had pho and dumplings (even noted that the dumplings were super small) and still said he was still hungry while he was drinking his milk tea. Also never said that I could eat as much as him lmao
Well seeing as how the title is about mickey d's and Burger King, the pho was just a side note, it was a snack. So considering he still consumed all of it, yes it's still a lot.

The portions should be small, medium, large, extra large, supersized, Man vs food large, then Mikey sized

Man there are amazing phos in Paris, he just didn't go to the right one, so sad. The one next to it called Le Kok (Yellow sign) is better and even that one I consider average! Small history for you peeps, pho actually derives from the 'Pot au feu' french dish (basically a poor man's broth that's made with every part of beef at hand) introduced in the 1800's when France colonised Vietnam

Normally I'd have agreed with you but, I gave up smoking about 9 yrs. ago and though I do miss it once in a long while, I'm glad I quit. I think I stopped right when my health was starting to show signs of it seriously going downhill. If I hadn't stopped when I did, I think my health would be through the floor right now. Luckily I stopped and feel much better now. I don't miss the near constant coughing and having to clear my throat all the time, *_AT ALL..._*

As a chinese malaysian that went to live in three places in France, bordeuax, paris , limoges and marmande. I cant comment much on Mc donalds but KFC in france is the worst compared to us. Hahaha the menu even different according to different cities and some has spicy chicken but you cannot order in the type that you want and everything is just complicated mess

That's what I was thinking. That maybe those patties were cooked some time ago and had been sitting under warmers waiting for someone to order a burger.
@@tbxmxdog9187 McDonald's has used frozen patties since before the 1970's. I can't speak to before then but I worked for McDonald's in the mid-70's. But, I believe that they always have used frozen.

Mikey is so good on critiquingthe food and that is why I love watching his channels. With every bite he takes he deducts every piece, every layer of the the food even seperating goodness of the patties and bread and taking his experiences from the past to compare it to the present making the experience much delicious for him and watering for us watchers. Wow.
That chili cheese sandwich at Burger King would sell like crazy here in Texas.
Standard item in most of Europe. One of the best items on the menu.
I had MickeyDs in Paris... it was alright. I think the best fast food in Paris is going into a bakery and grabbing a sandwich or a crepe from one of those outside Middle Eastern vendors.

I went to the one that was in (or still is apparently) Disneyland Paris (it's when you're walking past Disney Village or whatever it was called), got a big mac meal there and my god it was awful. Still, I had been ill with a cold for the few days when I was there so anything was better than nothing I suppose lol

With McDonald's it always depends on what time if day (I worked there). Try to go when it's busy, otherwise most of the food will be stale.
Or just always ask them to make it fresh.

Also try to go to one not in a touristy area. Fast food places are usually worse in touristy areas as they get new people visiting everyday unlike one that locals would go to
McDonald is tasteless and not fresh. Compared to Burger King this is shocking.

I'm glad you were able to try the x-tra long chili cheese (long chili cheese in france), which is a really popular stable here in germany since forever. The only drawback is being able to taste the life it takes from you with each bite you take haha. We also have the single/double chili cheese and the brand new chili cheese xl, but that's a mystery box exclusive, so you gotta get lucky.

We always stop at a mcdonalds on or way to Switserland but we never do in France because it just doesn't taste good. We always wait until Germany or Belgium. The wait is worth it!

BK's Whopper is my go to comfort sandwich as it's been consistent since the 70's. Hawaii, East Coast, West Coast, In between, Japan, Korea, it's just been reliable and I'm glad BK didn't disappoint in Paris. It's almost 10pm but I'll wait till tomorrow to get my fix cause something triggered my craving. Tanks Mikey.

Worst McDonalds I have been to was in Paris. Just like Mike, when I travel, I like to see what other McDs have. We had a similar experience, plus the cleanliness of the McDs in Paris was awful.

I never felt filled up when I travelled in Paris, maybe because of all the walking 🚶🏻♀️ but the food portion is definitely very small.
You eat and then exercise by walking a lot!😊👍
Well, it is pretty well known that American portions are huge compared to anything you get in Europe...
I can tell at least they've lessen the quality and quantity in the asian restaurant from France's Chinatown while increasing the price through the years.
I remember many years ago (like 10 or so), there was a restaurant we ate almost every sunday which we order some meals that we couldn't even finish everything so we took them away.
Now, you take the exact same order, you finish everything and you're still hungry at the end. And they're much expensive than before.

I don't even think a tapeworm could eat that much food he consumes.
That bleu cheese burger meal looked divine, so did that banana Nutella crepe. Yum!

I remember going to Paris in 2003 as my first time out of the country and had the McDonalds on the Champs Elysees..was absolutely shocked seeing crepes wth chocolate on the menu! Also little tiny roasted potato wedges they ate with mayo. Potatoes were good but I really hate mayo but they love it on everything it seemed.

Mcd in France is trash period. Not only in Paris. It's not gonna be better in Lyon even if it is technically the culinary center of France

@@AiideNGO it happened to me that my burger didnt have a pattie once. the worst part is i chose to take away. since then ive stopped going to most mcd. i prefer much more going to a kebab now, at least those i know have good quality meat.

In Rotterdam, I paid 12.50 Euros for that same amount of Pho. It was amazing though.

The Crepe Woman; when she said 'Paris is difficult', it was just real talk, amidst the fancy image of the place, people there are just trying their best just like everybody else.. idk why that hit me so hard.. I always thought anything French is fancy and elite for some reason..
The chili burger from Burger King that you tried is what I pretty much lived off of when I was in Germany. Really sad the BK's out here in the US doesn't serve it. Literally cannot wait till next year so I could have it again.
