hi, does anybody know the solution to this problem? I own a MPC 1000 which runs the 3.16 free OS version with 128mb memory installed. I have 128mb card with 10mb (12 sequences) of data saved to it. I loaded the 10mb, (nothing else, no presets sound) into the MPC memory. when I try to record more notes to a track, it says: "INSUFFICIENT MEMORY". why? internal memory is 128mb. you load 10mb to it and you can't record anything else because there's no available memory? when you look at the available internal memory it shows: "CARD free: 118mb", "WAVE free: 110mb", "SEQ free: 13kb"... I need sequence memory. Is it possible to assign/transfer memory space from "WAVE" to "SEQ"? or is this a OS version problem?
Never had that problem by myself. Unfortunately my 1000 is broken atm and I need to fix some parts in the future so I'm not able to check settings and things like that. Just send an E-Mail to derkrollege@gmx.de Maybe we can have a chat to figure out the problem.

Ich hatte das JJOS 3.16 drauf und kann nicht über Mode > Load Samples im Browser vorhören und gleichzeitig den Beat abspielen 💩!!! Wenn ich auf laden gehe stoppt die MPC den Beat automatisch. Ist das "normal" bzw. bei Dir auch so? THX
Depends on the situation. Mostly I group my drums but sometimes I also use the 4 separate output channels and send them through some effect pedals. The compressor sounds more harmonic and works better on a whole drum group than on the individual tracks.
There are way more features on their newer models so I would go for the ONE, LIVE or X. Just bought the MPC ONE and I’m very satisfied with it. Much faster workflow and the build in plugins sounding crisp.

@@udubbdigital4917 There are several options. You can do it by time stretching the sample in trim mode or pitching it up and down in the program mode till it matches the bpm. You can also listen to the sample and tap in the bpm by using the tap tempo button.
Delikat would you stick with the 1000 or get a new MPC like the One/X if you started producing? New to music and need a sampler. 🤧Learning curves aren’t a thing, just focused on sound.
@@adriannunez8868 Unfortunately I've never got the chance to get my hands on them but from a workflow perspective the newer MPC's like One, X or Live are way easier to handle. The newer devices are also much clearer and if something should break you can contact the support. I think MPC One should be a good decision if you want to start sampling.

Personally I've found the Live/One soulless machine. They can do all the same stuff but it feels like nothing at all. The 1000/2500 are pure dope.
