Im so glad to see AFX Twin being covered on a guitar. As a fan of aphex twin and a guitar player myself I always wanted to play my favorite AFX songs but just figured it would be impossible. Here you prove it to not only be possible but very accurate and successful as well. The only thing Ive figured out whether its from laziness or just figuring it to be impossible is the main 3 chords to window licker lol. This is awesome. Also one of my favorite AFX tunes.

Record It !!! Great with guitar, 'On' was never among my best Aphex tracks but with this organic touch sounds really good. Keep It organic, use real percussion etc, make an EP with more songs of Aphex and others then put it in the internet for download.

Thanks Colton, Im actually just running my guitar straight into the mpc and all the effects are the mpc too, its a old Squier guitar from 1983 they used to make them really nice!
On my MPC 5000 I can't get my pads to turn on. It's stuck in a weird setting. Can you help? There's got to be a menu I can't find. When I assign a sample to a pad the pad doesn't trigger it. I bought it off a guy that ran it midi through his computer and had the pads off. Any ideas of how to turn them back on?
bloomypetal Can you explain how you're recording loops with the MPC1000? In the past, I always struggled to record multiple layers in time because the sample record mode doesn't play along with a sequence. Is there a JJOS feature you're using to do this?
+fr0gz0r ya there is, I know what you mean, the only limiting factor with my set up is you must stop the sequence once you record your loop, but it stacks perfectly
