Yo, yo, yo,. Thanks for the shout out.. damn, you put 2 batteries in yours? I only went with one battery. I think with 2 batteries you gonna get 8 hours. It is pricey, but when the power goes out and your mp is still on, you gonna be smiling.
IKR! I thought the 2 batteries is what gives you the 4 hours. I had such a hard time fitting both batteries in there. I appreciate you putting me on. It stays on for a long time. My record is 6 hours so far, it outlast me.
Hahaha. My power went out this past weekend, but my MPC KEY-37 was still on and I was still making a beat! My MPC was plugged into my computer's UPS, which kept it going long enough for me to finish what I was doing. If I just had the MPC plugged straight into the wall, I would've lost that beat!!!!!
I'm mad late catching this one, but BigUps homie! you're so right. its THAT SOUND that comes out. FEEL. A cd will never FEEL like the sound a VINYL RECORD does. Its a noticeable force BigUps
Man im happy you have just an mpc obsession cause if it was a hardware synths obession you would probably be in bankruptcy 😅😅 nice vids man. Love the channel
Professor Oglevee? Lol Nice vid. Im definitely gonna try this. Have a X, but I'm gonna spice up my 1000 so i can play in other rooms. This mod would help even better!!!! Thnkx
I was a cheap bastard and didn’t get the battery upgrade. But I did get the USB C mod and I run it with an Anker battery stuck to it. I still find it the most awesome piece of gear I own. And I had all the grooveboxes out there. I just don’t have the time anymore to put it to work properly
This is a great idea. I didn't think about that. It could have save me a bunch of time and money. I run my Sp404 Mk2 with a battery connected to the usb-c.
i recently repaired the right output of my mpc 1000. it had a broken resistor because someone connected it wrong and mixed up input and output. maybe your input broke because of a signal that was to loud. u can check them with a multimeter. took me about 5 years to have the courage and knowledge to open up the whole mpc 1000 up onto the input output board. used the headphone out all the time instead of the right output. Big screen looks nice!
They must have sold it. I only see one with the XXL screen and wood side panels now for $1,137.54. It's is extremely difficult to sell these when you add all the useless upgrades.
Hey Parrish with your CF Card adapter do you have any problems with it sticking inside the machine? I ordered the exact same CF Card adapter you have from Amazon and placed it in my 1000 and the card almost got stuck…I had to gently pull it out with my fingers and it was struggling to come out! I’m afraid to try it again I don’t want to screw up my drive lol. I guess I’ll just stick to using the 128 mb drive from now on!
Did you fix the left input? My 2500 does that… what I dude to turn the input up really loud to the point where it like wakes up the channel.. it’s like the channel falls a sleep.. lol like hit a hot signal through it and that may help it to wake up
@drenolynbeats I don't think so. I see these sit on Reverb for month and months. 1 of 1s are always harder to sell. My wife is a REALTOR and the unique houses sit on the market double or triple the time. Then they end up selling them for a huge loss in the end. I see you have a bunch of equipment, you want to take this off of my hands.
Yes, It's usb c but not like a phone charge. I use my 2019 macbook pro charger that I sold and kept the charger. I cut out a bunch of small details in an attempt to make this video shorter and cut all of the technical stuff.
One of the best MPCs ever made.
That 1000 is championship level 🏆🏆🏆🏆

LMAAO I was just thinking that same shit. 😂
Thanks! It's getting out of control now. I need therapy or a different hobby.
That MP 1000 so pretty. Good work!

You should do a vid for that! I got the same input problem with my 5000
Considering how trash the newer MPCs are when it comes to Repairability and long-term support, id say this a nice & feasible upgrade. Lol
Dope machine!
Thanks!
Keep these dope videos coming bro!!!! Very inspirational!!!!💯⚡️✅
Thank you! Will do!
Amaized, yeash older ones sounds better, and workFlow is more flow! Actually!
Low or uneven inputs usually is burnt capacitors.
Thanks for this info.
I may do some more troubleshooting when I get bored enough.
Someone was selling one with iust the battery and the blue replacement screen for 1500 on Reverb
They must have sold it. I only see one with the XXL screen and wood side panels now for $1,137.54. It's is extremely difficult to sell these when you add all the useless upgrades.

Yoooo the flashcard to sd is a lifesaver b, i'm wondering what the max amount of gb it has though
We talk about MPCs in our episodes, check it out !
Are you still trying to get rid of this? I’d be interested if that input is fixed
Goddamnit, I have to watch the screen update before this one 😂
And the speakers?
Can you sell me a live 2 for cheap please mine had gotten stolen. Ive been depressed 😞. I love your videos. Learning ALOT.
Is there any issue with battery getting hot?
You better make fire beats with all this money and time upgrading 🤷🏾♂️
Most of the beats you hear in the sped up section in this video come from the 1000. I think I've done an okay job.
MPC1000 is low key a little tank.
where do you sell your old MPC's?
I usually keep them. If I do sell them, I go the eBay route, however, the fees are getting out of control at this point.
If you wanted to sell this I think you could still get back 90% of your money, there’s 100s of people who would be interested in this
You really can’t sell it if the left input is low. Kinda pointless 🤦🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️ get that fixed
I sample in mono, so it's not that big of a deal right. Most people sample in Mono for more sample time, use less memory on the older machines.
@@ppic7162 mono means centered and stacked
Put a battery in the MPC One🙏🏽🙏🏽
The website only has battery kits for the 2000xl, 2500 and the 1000 for now. They said more are coming in the future.
Bro you could easily charge $1200 or more it’s a unique 1 of 1

Does it charge using a usb C?
