    I just did a 3/4 drop to my Tahoe. I thought removing the rubber from the rear stops would be enough but it's not. I had to cut out the bump stop mounts. A few other things should be taken into consideration. The rear axle shifts to the right (passenger side) as the vehicle is lowered. It also moves slightly forward which brings the wheels forward in the wheel well. If you're a stickler for stuff like this you may want to get an adjustable panhard bar and adjustable rear control arms. Then you can center your rear axle properly.

      Yeah that’s definitely doing it the right way. I’ll definitely consider it. I didn’t know there’s parts available for that issue.

    I put Eibach 2 inch drop springs on and never reinstalled the plastic spring spacers that were on my factory springs anyone know if that changes the ride quality ?

      Springs might be worn out or sagging. If you cut the bump stops like I did it would have more travel. You could add new stops to stop it from banging hard. Might still bottom out tho on the stop

      Front is lowered with 2" drop keys. Doesn't bottom out in front

    • @ThatAccordGuy
      @ThatAccordGuy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You shouldn’t have been resting on the stops anyway just going down the road. I don’t think cutting the bump stops would cause a sway unless you’re heavily loaded down. Weld the stops back on if you think it’s that.
