'Hot Mess House': How to organize your home

Don’t let it happen to you! Organization export and coach Cassandra Aarssen and builder and craftsman Wendell Holland shared some tips on how to organize your homes.
They also shared a preview of the HGTV series “Hot Mess House,” which focuses on homes in New York and New Jersey this season.

I love how Cas and Wendell both talked about the homeowners and people dealing with clutter are brave and amazing for asking for help and doing the work once they got the help they needed! The TV hosts said some negative comments but Cas and Wendell turned it right around to a positive!
The hosts were REALLY trying to get them to be negative. So proud of Cas and Wendell!

I was going to say the same thing. Cass and Wendel are the real deal, motivating, professional, and empathetic.

I’m a Clutterbug fan from the U.K. and I don’t think we can see the show here but this video popped up on my home page so I watched it and I wasn’t impressed with the hosts at all, especially him. When Cas said she was from Canada he said, right, in such a dismissive tone. He was not a good ambassador for New York, or America.
I’ve been watching Cass on TH-cam forever. I’m so happy to see her making it in the world ❤️
Cas thank you for your positive response to their negative questions (especially about the families you worked with). I think the hosts were very rude.
He was more on the rude side than she was. Eventually she said she had messy/hoarding issues too. He was a bit of a snob as if having that problem could never happen to him.

wow, these tv hosts should have prepared better... especially the guy was so freaking negative and they didn´t even know Cas is from Canada... I applaud Cas and Wendell for being so professional, calm, and positive... you´ve grown so much that you don´t even get flustered on live tv... hats off to you!
Cas! You look so beautiful! Cas is an amazing TH-camr and has such a heart for people. Love her and her channel. @ClutterBug! You should interview Wendell on your channel! He seems so good hearted like you.
I like that comment, "is this something you would buy again" instead of "have you used it in the past year".

Cas and Wendel were great! These hosts needed to prepare some better questions. But Cas and Wendel handled the interview like pros. Would have liked interviewers to ask more about organizing styles/tips from Cas.
These tv hosts should be so ashamed of how they talked cas and Wendell are fantastic

Cas is amazing. Wendell's work is beautiful, creative, and so functional.
I thought the male host was unprepared, condescending, holier than thou, and rude. He also made the wrong assumption of whose work the show was based on, which was disrespectful to Cas. The female host was much better.
Cas's Clutterbug videos are my favorite. I love her communication, her understanding, and her breakdown of decluttering and organizing.
Wendell and Cass are so great! Just a breath of fresh air:) I appreciate how they were so positive and understanding.

I think the root cause of the clutter has nothing to do with people being messy, and everything to do with people overestimating how much stuff they can manage at once.

Male interviewer was so annoying. Wendall and Cas was so professional though. Sometimes clutter and messy homes come from depression or mental health setbacks and very ignorant of the interviewers to downplay the bravery of those who share their homes to teach others to live better

Are you American? I’ve noticed that Americans often use different past tenses that English people do eg, ‘shined’ instead of ‘shone’!! ‘Went’ instead of ‘gone’. This IS an American slang term. It is a common usage. I am very grammar oriented, but this is definitely a cultural dialect.
Words are used differently in different countries. This is not a case of poor grammar, but an example of common usage of the word "went" in the U.S.
Dialect is not wrong; it is different.
We sometimes say "went" to mean "said". For example, "I walked in, and went, "Wow!".
Nice but to me that's either ignorance or just flattery...there are people that are just messy. They are lazy, procrastinator or just don't care.. some of course just gets overwhelmed discouraged.
