I made these yesterday at almost 11pm, had a sweet tooth. My mom gave me a big bag of pecans, and i didnt know what to do with them. Ive always wanted to try this recipe. Thank you for making this quick and simple to learn. They came out great. They're so delicious! I have to stop myself from snacking on them. 😂

@@SimplieGolden The snacking has most definitely been happy, thanks! Have a great day! 😄
Great idea. I never thought of using coconut sugar😏
He says to add 1/2 C spring water but it shows 1C on the screen! Which is it? I C probably takes a lot longer to thicken up but maybe needs to! Please comment.
Nice and easy and clean cooking ❤
The three best words to describe any cooking adventure. Nice, easy, and clean. Thank you.😃
Please don't be annoyed with me. I want to make candied pecans for a friend who's allergic to cinnamon. This is the only recipe I've found, but I'm a little uncertain of the quantities. Do I follow the voiced recipe or the written words? Please help
Right this will confuse people smh that what I want to know???
Thank you 😊
You're welcome 😊
Yummy
😋 Thank you!
I never heard of coconut sugar, so I learn things on you tube all the time.
instantly subscribed bc the recipe looks bomb and I am also a Jessica Nicole XD
Me too...jk
Thank you:)
No problem 😊
Thank you 🤍
You’re welcome 😊
i made some, but they came out very sticky.... any suggestions????
Can I use foil instead of parchment paper )
You can. I prefer the parchment paper because the warm pecans may stick to foil.
Can I do this with walnuts? Thank you 😊 ❤️
I am allergic to walnuts so I haven't tested them out. lol. However, I do know walnuts and pecans cook differently. So I wouldn't recommend using this exact recipe with walnuts.
You say different amounts of ingredients …compared to what shows up on the screen. Which is correct?
Mmm 😋. Is that how ginger candi is made ?
Great question. I have never made candied ginger. However, I imagine it is made differently based on its taste and texture.
Wow! It is a delicious recipe! You did a great job! I will try it!
I have a lot of easy recipes too)See you around! full watch!
Thank you so much 😊
1/2 a stick of butter?
4 tbs
I was hoping that the pecans would be crispy/crunchy but sadly they were not. I’m not a great cook and probably did something wrong in the process. Can someone pass along asuggest
Easy recipe but I still messed mine up I think it’s because I used a non stick skillet vs a cast iron skillet 🤷🏽♀️ but my mixture never fully cooked down and I was afraid the nuts would burn so I took them off the stove
Oh no! I've also experienced differences in the outcome of my recipes when I use a nonstick skillet. I tend to stick to my tried and true cast iron these days.
I used turbinado sugar.
And how did they turn out?! I love that you decided to try something different.

Really great! I ate too many! I made a salad with arugula, escarole and mixed lettuces, fennel, sweet onion, avocado, cucumber with Castello blue cheese crumbles, chopped candied pecans and a dressing made with olive oil, apple cider vinegar, orange marmalade, fig preserves, sour cream, salt and pepper and lemon juice.
@@TrutherThinkTank That's sounds sooooo good! 🤤
Cooking isn’t about measurements. It’s about feeling the food and ingredients, Looking at a consistency, taste testing, colors, Adjusting etc.
y’all don’t need exact recipes.. chill. Start with small amount of water and work your way up if necessary. Some of it is common sense!
How many cups of pecans? You said 2 cups, but wrote 3 cups?
No cinnamon or other spices?
Spices are optional.
Cinnamon is a must. Gonna add it here in a couple minutes.
Thank you mama! I’m so over these people talking for an hour about nothing or making things overly complicated. 🎉 They act like pecans take as much time as a 5 star gourmet dinner.🥺🥺😫😫😂🥺🤣🤦🏾♀️
You are so welcome.
I’m to upset I followed your type words and it is wrong.. 1cup of water was to much with the brown sugar it end up boiling the pecan so now I got these Carmela pecans that are soft when u chew them ugh… What I should have done was mix 1/2 cup water please if u go do a video do it right why would u have 2 different instructions on it what a waist of my money thanks a lot…
You should use discernment and judge for yourself. Cooking isn’t about measurements. It’s about feeling it. Looking at a consistency, taste testing. Adjusting etc.

That is 1/4 cup of butter! What is wrong with you?!
