Love this! So nice to let us know about the company you got the pecans from. I always like finding out about places to try new things from that I ordinarily wouldn't know about. Great job on the butter pecans. I know they were delicious!
I've been roasting Pecans for over 50 years... Mostly on and off, about 5 batches over a few weeks, then not for a year or so. Sometimes not for years. They are great. I do them on top of stove only.
I roast chopped pecans when I’m going to use in a recipe, interesting you do a batch like this , going to do this on stove top , Small batch of halves for me Mr doesn’t why didn’t I think of this thanks
Thanks Noreen for bringing back childhood memories, This was one of my Dads favs, (Pee- can) lol..( North Cacalacky girl).was his favorite nut....Anything Pecan....We had a tree on our farm, along with other fruit trees ,Black walnuts too..So we had a plenty of them in the freezer...😍😁👍❤⚘❄
Use to have a cousin that gave these butter roasted pecans for Christmas. I loved those things. And now thanks to you I know how to make my own. Thank you!
Oh my!!!! This sounds so delicious. Can't wait to try another flavor using pecans. I have had cinnamon type and pumpkin spice. Both are absolutely too yummy!
The Yorks are my cousins on my dad's side -- been going to their farm all my life. My grandmother, then later my mom and dad, would always take us kids. I'm obviously biased, but the Yorks are a wonderful family! And our fridge and freezers are chock-full of York Pecans! On another "recipe" note, I might try this exact recipe with York Pecan Pieces, roast them, then mix them into a brownie batter. Do y'all think that might be good? Should I skip (or lessen) the salt? Or add sugar? Or no sugar?
I love roasted nuts especially pecans. These turned out amazing Noreen. I'm definitely checking out this company. Thanks for sharing another great recipe.
To say i am excited to try this recipe really understates the situation. I am also very interested in getting some pecans from this company. Especially, since its an American company.❤😊
It’s notan ad. I was not paid for this video. The company only sent me some of their product to use in a video. I clicked the correct box when I uploaded. I follow TH-cam rules. FYI, I don't have to classify my video as an advertisement even if it is. I have the choice to not mention it. I only have to let TH-cam know that it is sponsored. That way they don't run competeting ads over the beginning of the video. Hope that gives you a better understanding of how things work.
@@noreenskitchenchannel don’t feed the trolls. Thanks for the video. We gathered about 15 gallons of pecans this afternoon and I shelled enough to yield about a gallon and a half tonight. I’ll be trying your recipe tomorrow. Thanks!
Firstly I don’t sponsor. People sponsor me. Secondly they did contact me and send me a very generous box of product. I do not have affiliate links and love supporting small business. It does not bother me if you think that is silly. I once had teenagers. I am used to eye rolls and have become immune to them. Have a nice night.
