Oh my gosh Sam, I’ve always wanted to make these for gifts, but haven’t taken the time to look up a recipe, and wow today…you gave me the easiest recipe to make them!!! I can’t wait. Thank you so much for sharing your, in my eye, professional pallet lol and recipes!!!
Loved this recipe!!! We had left over pecans from a pecan pie and this recipe was awesome. Cooked them on a silpat and they were perfect. I will be making these again.
Made this yesterday! They were wonderful and baked up perfectly on a silpat. So yummy! Thanks for the recipe and Happy Holidays to you and your family.
I don’t have a lot of appetizers but here’s the link to the appetizer category on my website. 😊 sugarspunrun.com/recipe-index/?fwp_categories=appetizers
Thank you so much for this. I had collected a bunch of big pecans in Georgia and already cracked and smoked them. I plan on using your recipe to make for Christmas gifts as well as my seasonings. Subscribed!!
Thank you very much, for another one of my favorite recipes. Now I can enjoy them fresh & warm. I hope that you & your family will have a wonderful Christmas. ✌🏾🇺🇲
Hi Sam, I just wanted to let you know that I did the spicy candied cashews. I followed your recipe from the candied pecans and added a quarter teaspoon of roasted ground Chili Thai pepper. It came out great, sweet, salty, and spicy
I was able to get two pint size jars. How much would you sell this for if you did sell them. I've had people ask about it. Could you help with the prices as to what would be good and fair.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it so much! I appreciate the feedback to make it spicy. That sounds really tasty. Unfortunately I don't know how I would price them to sell. That's really not my area of expertise. I wish I could be more helpful there. :(
Could you tell me how much you'd sub for maple glued pecans instead of that amount of granulated sugar? Also how would that affect the heat time and temp? Oh and thanks so much for the oil and butter tip from your cake recipes!
I have a “twist” to these-I add 1/4 teaspoon reaper powder to each type of nut so they all get a little kick. Good for those that like a little heat with their sweet.
I honestly don't know for sure. I think it's finer and lighter than regular granulated sugar. I also believe monk fruit sweetener is a bit sweeter than granulated sugar so a 1 to 1 substitute may be a lot and unfortunately without having tried it I can't say exactly how to do it. :(
@Sugar Spun Run I made your recipe for the candied pecans to day they are really good is an understatement. They're out of the ballpark good. Can this recipe also be used for cashews You're right about it being cheaper to make than buying them. Thank you so much for the recipe.

Making these right now and the kitchen smells delicious!
I hope you love them! 😊
You should do a New Orleans style praline recipe Sam. Love me some pralines.
I think I'm going to try these and in lieu of salt, use some Slap Yo Mama seasoning. 🤔
Thank you so much for this. I had collected a bunch of big pecans in Georgia and already cracked and smoked them. I plan on using your recipe to make for Christmas gifts as well as my seasonings. Subscribed!!
What a great gift! I hope everyone loves them! :)

@Sugar Spun Run merry Christmas to you and your family. I gave the candied cashews and pecans as gifts.
Thank you Sam! I'm making these babies.
Have fun! 😊
Thank you for sharing!
Hope you love them 😊
Thank you for the recipe. I want to use demerara sugar and cayenne pepper, for a bit of a kick.
What ratio would you recommend?
Thank you!
I honestly haven’t tried it. I would certainly go lighter on the cayenne to make sure it’s not too spicy. I hope you love it!
Amazing snack thanks
You’re welcome! 😊

Unfortunately without having tried it I can't say for sure how to do it. :(
A very interesting recipe, the nuts must be very tasty😋👍
They certainly are! Let me know if you try them 😊

Sounds interesting! I'm not a spicy foods person, but I bet others would love to try it. Thanks for the tip! :)
Or cayenne pepper!
I need to make these. If there are any left, I'll take some up to my sister's house on Christmas Day. That is a HUGE "if"!
😂 I hope everyone enjoys them!
Stop it stop it, you're killing me smalls!!! Aarrrhh!!! You always making my favorite tasty treats.
Merry Christmas XOXOXO
😂😂 But they're SO good! Merry Christmas to you too 😊
Yummy just made some good snack and on salads
So glad you gave it a try!
Made these amazing , thank you , can I use almonds or other nuts ?
I'm so glad you like them 🙂 Absolutely!
Thank you! Does monk fruit work the same as sugar? I am thinking of making these for a friend with diabetes.
Those are so so good!!
Glad you like them! 😊
Yummy
I've never tried making them. I will now thank you for the tutorial. Do you have a recipe for sweet and spicy nuts? Thank you and Merry Christmas.
I don't, but I can add it to my list! 😊
@Sugar Spun Run I made your recipe for the candied pecans to day they are really good is an understatement. They're out of the ballpark good. Can this recipe also be used for cashews
You're right about it being cheaper to make than buying them. Thank you so much for the recipe.
That’s awesome! I’m glad you enjoyed them. Cashews will work well here too. 😊
THANKS YOU GOODNESS 🌟 DAPHNE COTTON ALWAYS 💜 AWESOME
Hmmmm, I really thought some butter would be involved. I love fresh hot candied pecans at fairs. This has to be better.
I hope you love them! :)
I love these.
💖👼🏻🌺
Me too! 😊
This looks easier than i thought! Waistline, who needs a waistline? 😂
I didn't froth the egg and water with the vanilla essence. i just poured everything. is that okay:(
Honestly I'm not sure how it's going to turn out. Mixing it all together helps everything coat evenly. I hope you enjoy them! :)
❤!
Could you eliminate the cinnamon so you just get the pure flavor of the pecans?
Sure! Enjoy!
Oven temp?
250F! It's always in the description 😊
you forgot to showcase your finished product.......
Oven temp? Really?
Yes 250 is what you want to use
Really
