What would you like to see us build in the Megafactory? And if you haven't already, get Techtonica here: store.steampowered.com/app/1457320/Techtonica/?
The editor was trolling pretty fierce. X'D FHG has done pretty amazing with speed of development, bugfixes, feature enhancements, (re)playability options, and new content. Will you make stairs to walk back up? Does TT have any yeeters, apart from hovercraft? Continuing megafactory might be cool. Maybe with an open core area, with crosswalks and whatnot, subfactories going up sides, spreading out, going cack down. Maybe stalagmite or stalactite style. Ooh! Or spider or bat shaped. Idk.
For the millionth time, in order for Techtonica to be playable, it NEEDS a resource sink system. Oversaturated belts cripple factories and make for a frustrating experience. Honestly, as much as I love the concept of Techtonica, I just can't bring myself to play it again until they add this basic and very obviously needed feature.
To be fair, the have resource sinks, items like Kindlevine extract can be converted into kindle brick that use 100 of the extract per 1 brick. For buildables, you can sink items in the blast smelters, turning them into carbon
I want to love this game but struggle with the initial threshers and powering the miners and smelters. I would prefer they are powered on the grid like everything else
Thank you for this adventure If you had to recommend a factory building game, which one would it be? I'm looking for a game in which you first have to build the machines that will produce the other machines
I played Factorio, Satisfactory, Dyson Sphere Program and of course Techtonica. My favorite is Factorio but it has a steep learning curve. My second favorite is Techtonica. Techtonica would be my first recommendation for an automation beginner. And now with tons of settings to customize the game to fit any play style, Techtonica is perhaps the best start. I just started playing automation games this year and they have become one of my all time favorite games.
@@Jean_Mi Satisfactory can is a very long game and it can get overwhelming sometimes. The Techtonica standard story line is not in the hundreds of hours, more like in dozens of hours. But with the new massive map Mountain King Underhall and plenty of difficult settings like Hardcore, Hyper, Quantity , Quality, Sandbox and even perma build, plus many other generous options in the settings that allow you to create the perfect gameplay for your type of style gameplay. If you love Automation games, I can’t imagine you won’t like Techtonica. It’s from a very small indie game company. It’s not as well known or popular as the other big Automation games but a very good game in my opinion and good replay value with the different modes and many settings you can tinker with. Hope this helps.
@@Jean_Mi oh sorry but to your exact question, yes I definitely think that Techtonica is different enough from Satisfactory. You can compare Factorio with Dyson Sphere Program but not so much with Satisfactory. Techtonica does have a different model and approach. Closer to Satisfactory than the others but yet very different than Satisfactory.
Meh, still refusing to start another replay until we get priority splitter/mergers....needed badly and I get frustrated by it every single time I do a playthrough. Tired of building like 100 of the "poor mans" versions...won't do it again lol
we have recipes for storing large quantities shiverthron gel and kindlvine brick i think. I wish they would have put more natural lighting in the map you're on
Thats really interesting that they decided to make more maps. But what im wondering is how will the story work out in the other maps? Or is the story mode just disabled for the other maps
@@TotalXclipse Oh so would that mean that they simply copy over the important narrative areas to the other map. That could be a decent way of doing that

I really like that new map we got in 0.4!! Nice looking build by the end of this little episode!!
i like the new options, i want some parts harder but other parts are a pain in the arse, now i can customise the game for best enjoyment! nice!
Absolutely! I love the amount of customization options we have

I'm looking for a game in which you first have to build the machines that will produce the other machines
Well this game allows you to do exactly that, similar to how factorio does it.
@@TotalXclipse Thanks
@@TotalXclipse I played 850 hours on Satisfactory, is this game different enough to allow me to enjoy it as much?

I always get jealous of peoples creative minds. His buildings look awesome, mine look like the ruins you find throughout the story :)
All i want is a TRASH CAN!!!!
Thank you for doing on a video on this game
looks like a mobile version of Satisfactory.

i love the games UI.
the building process is much more enjoyable than satisfactory. feels like the game really respects my time.
The worst part about this game is that it keeps crashing when i start a new game -_-
50 to 100 Blue cores per minute might be a good end goal.😊

Yep, I use those recipes quite extensively now :D
As opposed to just freeplacing buildings?
What's this in response to?
Thats really interesting that they decided to make more maps. But what im wondering is how will the story work out in the other maps? Or is the story mode just disabled for the other maps
That's a great question, with Faithless void, it may have the same story line, but they did mention there were secrets to uncover.
@@TotalXclipse Oh so would that mean that they simply copy over the important narrative areas to the other map. That could be a decent way of doing that
@@greenscorpeon3 Well Faithless Void is the same map but with some changes - the other map I don't think will have the story though
@@TotalXclipse Oh i see.
I wonder if Satisfactorys devs will think of doing something similar. Just making an alternative map sometime down the road
