Testing Godox S-type Bracket Bowens - Best way to use a speedlight off-camera?

- In this video I'm honestly testing a Godox S-type Bracket Bowens. It's not a sponsored video. Is the holder the best way to use a speedlight (speedlite) off-camera?
Here's some of the items I use or a regular basis:
camera's Nikon D750 and Nikon D610
lens Nikkor 24-70mm F2.8 for studio work
lens Tamron 90mm F/2.8 MACRO VC for Macro shots (baby details and wedding rings for example)
lens Sigma Art 105mm F1.4 for outdoor sessions
For Newborns, Babies and Cake Smashes: Godox Speedlite V860II Nikon X-PRO Duo kit with softbox Westcott 50 inch Recessed Front Apollo JS
For Portraits: Godox AD400 pro with Caruba Beauty Disk and/or Caruba Parabolic Sotbox

IMPORTANT
If you are interested in photographing newborn babies yourself I would highly recommend you to first learn about photography in general. Master you camera, photograph in the Manual mode, learn about aperture, iso, shutter speed, white balance, light and composition. Take photos of your friends (adults or very patient older kids) and make sure you don't have to think about your camera anymore when photographing babies. Learn about editing as well. Please, don't experiment photographing Newborn babies without training. Attend a workshop by an experienced and professional photographer with an expertise in Newborn Photography. Learn about the anatomy of babies and invest in good quality cameras, lenses and props. Babies are extremely vulnerable and small and their safety and comfort should be your highest priority. Start with simple poses and make sure you know and understand that many 'pinterest poses' are composites. Please, don't try this at home. If you want beautiful photos of your own Newborn Baby, I highly recommend you to hire a professional and experienced photographer who is trained and specialised in Newborn Photography.

Wow, this is exactly what I need. Thank you for reviewing this. I do have some of the cheaper speedlights (same brand as you mentioned) and use them when on location. This bracket will reassure me that they won't break as they do work well.
that is a great idea ...I will look around for it...I have a spare room that I rarely use in my apartment and plan on doing some photoshoots in there. I already had a baby photo shoot and the mom was very happy with the out come. I do own the same speedlight you showed here and really like it.
Thanks for review, i was looking at this s mount and possibly using it with the Godox AD200.

Just bought a Godox soft box with the Bowen’s bracket. Can’t wait to try it
I have a similar bracket. Sometimes the clip gets lose a bit with mine. You should secure the speedlight to prevent it from falling on the floor.
I have had these for years, they work well !!!

Yes Boss s S type.bracket is brilliant got three that I use with my AD200 and speed lights, which covers 95% of my lighting needs

Was juist van plan zoiets te kopen, daarom was ik aan het zoeken naar filmpjes daarover. Maar ik heb er een van Bresser gezien, die wordt geleverd samen met een softbox. Ben benieuwd!
I love this! I use mine for many things, like last week I did a body building competition event and used it as an iPhone holder as the client asked if I could stream live on Facebook with his phone 😁 so I rigged it up and bam video streaming stand! Lol thanks Fenna! P.s. where did u get the stool, u may have done a video on it but I havent seen it😁

Great recomendations! im actually struggling with the decision to change my continous light to led, but i found out the light is too hard, so i was thinking in going for a strobe inside a big softbox.... but then again. i just cant make up my mind.
So we are stuck with the 45W bulb in a soft box for our sessions.
What to do......

How did you trigger both flashes?
She is using a Godox radio trigger on the camera's hot shoe.

Do you know if this fits any softbox? I have a Glow ez lock softbox...
It should work as the Glow EZ lock softboxes also have Bowens mount .
