The Neewer version of this softbox has been my go to light modifier. I would highly suggest the addition of the grid for more precise light control in a small area. One softbox, one reflector, and one background light and I'm all set.

This is the only piece of camera equipment I've ever bought and hated. The review is nice, will give you a thumbs up as I only watched it hoping you would show how to fold it back into the bag so I can return it to Adorama. I didn't read reviews before buying and when I went back all of them, even the positive ones say they couldn't get it back into the bag. I will say that I cannot recommend this thing as a portable softbox. I've used Neewer portable speedlite softboxes for years which cost the same amount without an issue. Folding is hard and I can't imagine it lasting very long as when I opened it brand new it was already warped as it's a box that folds into a triangle that you have to bend into a circle. You're better off getting umbrella style softboxes since they are easier to actually carry around, dont require a speedring, and you can collapse them as quickly as closing an umbrella rather than being the hulk and awkwardly squeezing this thing into it's carrying case.
Yes I had three of them but once opened they are nightmare to fold. I foolishly destroyed one of them just trying to fold it. I ended up with a twisted softbox which I had to discard. I no longer fold them just leave them as triangles. Lesson learned £25 wasted. I agree that best portable light modifier is softbox umbrella.

Thank you for the helpful video. I see that you have a Godox SL60W continuous light. Do you think this softbox is ideal of shooting video interviews as well? If so, do I need to buy the coversion ring you mentioned, or would this softbox fit with the SL60W out of the box? Thank you very much.
I think the soft box is good to use with SL60, but you need a adapter ring.

I have one of these soft boxes and you can use a speedlite with the bowens mount bracket you do not need a speedring.

Sir if we fold with white cloth along with softbox is there any tear or wear...
I wouldn't do that, maybe it would be fine for the first time and second but, I don't think it can handle a lot of folding, it just my opinion.

As I said, it will be OK if you fold it once or twice, if you keep it for long periods of time then maybe you see tears and wears
Can someone help me (a newbie) explain why I would use the diffuser vs not using it? I’m using this for video purposes only.
I'm not professional either, but I think it helps softener the light otherwise you will have hush highlights n you can't fix it in the software

nice box but forget folding it ...all their modifiers are made to embarass you in front of clients as you struggle to pack them up or assemble them....too bad they are well made
