Nope no cooling problems but I do have a larger front grill that lets in more air to the engine bay and I also have a vented hood that lets the hot air out. I have not tried to see if it works with the injen intake but PRL says it will only work with their cobra CAI.
Its true only if you have a stock turbo. Performance boost is like 3-5 HP. If you got big turbo like 27won W1 or W2 then u can triple or quadruple those numbers.

Unfortunately no. Had transmission problems so had to get that fixed first and it was really expensive. Spent just over $2k to fix it so that's took the money I had saved for the dyno and now its holidays so spending money on gifts for the family lol. I can't catch a break. But hopefully ill get it dynoed by end of the year and if not then next month for sure.

Tendras que hablar con PRL y ver si ellos te pueden vender esa parte solamente. Normalmente solo viene con en inlet titanio. Si ellos no te lo venden pues vas a tener que vender el titanio tuyo y comprar uno que es RACE para que sirva con tu nuevo RACE MAF intake.
All the hoses are from PRL. Only thing still OEM are the small clamps that hold the hoses in place. If you look at the beginning of the video u will see what hoses came with the kit. Kit came with 4. 2 for the left of the pipe and 2 for the right side of the pipe
Because I saw someone that had the 27won inlet pipe with the prl intake like the one I have and I though it looked like crap. Basically I got prl because to me it looks better then 27won lol.
Hello not sure if you’ll get this or not, but for installing this intlet pipe will it fit on the stock turbo or do you need a bigger one? Also if I’m not mistaken this would work the a prl cobra cold air intake right!

I could have but I like the way the prl inlet looks better and the prl intake performs better then the 27won intake. Im a firm believer that not 1 company makes every product perfect so I add to my car all the parts that each company makes the best in my opinion.
@@MoisesEmpire I agree with you as far as not 1 company makes the best of everything . The inlet from PRL does look better than the from 27WON, but for the intake I kind of like the design of the 27WON somewhat because of the ease of accessing the air filter better.
I think they are both just as easy. 27won u remove the 4 small screws on top of air box and prl u just remove 1 10mm bolt and 2 plastic push clips off the fender liner. Only thing that can make prl harder to get to is if the car is really low, cuz then you need to jack it up first lol.
When I bought this inlet pipe, it ONLY fit the PRL CAI. Idk about now tho, maybe they made an adapter that will make it work. You'd have to contact PRL to find out for sure.
Check PRL website to be sure but i think this inlet pipe only works the PRL cobra intake. Idk anyone that has tried it on the mishimoto intake so im not 100% sure. If the site doesn't tell u then I would call them.
Yeah some always spills when you move the hose. You can check the coolant level tho. Its that beige slightly see through plastic tank next to where u fill the oil on the passenger side of the car.
@@MoisesEmpire Was unable to put in the bolt where that ac line is blocking even moving that ac line. Car is running fine with only 3 bolts on, but I’m not sure how to get it in. The belt didn’t block your ratchet extension?
Nope. Its still the same. I dont think I drive my car for a long enough distance or time for it to get hot enough to change color. My car is also pretty vented so hot air dont stay in the engine bay for to long.
They are just for turbo sound. No other benefit comes from a blow off valve. Some people say they are bad for the 10th gen civic but I have never seen any proof of that.
@@MoisesEmpire yes I figured my friend has a civic 1.5t and the turbo is not that loud. What's strange is the jetta 1.4 tsi turbo spool is loud compared to the civic. I have heard many people with the jetta 1.4 with the stock turbo and even under low acceleration the turbo is noticeable. Could it be the type of turbo vw uses cause vw turbos tend to be louder.
Its possible and also the way its tuned can affect the sound. The jetta probably spools faster. I think the fact that the civic has a turbo inlet pipe is what makes the turbo so quiet. That plus the intake, air has to travel pretty far before it gets to the turbo.
Finally got my civic sport 1.5 t, funny enough my turbo spool is loud when the car is in park, I made a video but haven't uploaded it yet@@MoisesEmpire

If you had to pick one thing to make your car go as fast as you can possibly make it, what would that thing be? Cold air? Exhaust? Hondata/Ktune,etc?
The 1 mod that adds the most power is a ktuner/hondata.
Id say turbo but you can't add a bugger turbo without getting a tune.

27won has a TIP that supposedly works with all aftermarket intakes. They make pretty good parts, maybe just half a step behind PRL
Not all intakes but it does work with a few different ones. On their site they have a drop down that shows what intakes it works with.

Same style but If i remember correctly the PRL ones are longer then the oem ones. OEM ones are too short and thats y prl gives u new ones.

Tape the edge of the bolt to the socket to hold it. I used black electrical tape. Screw it in and just pull the socket off.

Nope. No codes at all ever come from an inlet pipe since no sensors are connected to it.

The titanium inlet pipe from PRL only works with the PRL intake.
Do you plan on putting a heat wrap? Ive seen some in the meets.
Im not sure yet. I definitely should for performance purposes, but it looks so good that I'd hate to cover it up lol.
