- In this video, I show you a brief tease of the new Delonghi Rivelia superautomatic coffee machine. I've been eyeballing this lately on Amazon, and found it in demo mode at the electronics store. Who's curious about this handsome little, newly designed machine? I find it pretty intriguing.

#Rivelia! Freili! Immer wieder schee, Deine neuen Videos. Danke Tom!
The grinder adjustment looks so cool
Finally! Exciting :)
Tom, should I get a Rivelia or the Dinamica Plus??
For some reason I thought you were Canadian this whole time! lol Keep up the good work Tom!
You were close, I’m from the Midwest. 😉
Ganz interessant! Well that was worth a try :D looking forward to a demo of #Rivelia machine. Cheers!
I like the easily reachable, as I rememer adjustable, and cleanable milling compartment!
Around A$1500 in Australia, and it comes with two hoppers. In the advertising for the machine they numerously emphasize the Bean Switch System, so they are using this to set it apart from other machines. It looks good!
I got one this weekend and so far its nice, just wish it gave you output measurements on the fly
#Rivelia would love to see a review of this machine! and how it compares to other machines from phillips and siemens in the same price range.
2:40 Brew group reminded me of a LaserJet printer cartridge.
maybe in 10 years I will ditch my manual set up and move to super automatic, since they seems to be doing better job in each iteration, they might catch up the manual set up eventually.
Would love to see an actual review. Thank you
#Rivelia Looks good
Hey I mentioned this as I was tossing up between rivelia and something else. Ended up getting a 5400 for 898 aud and it’s good but the milk froth is a let down. Would love to see a full review. Be interesting how it compares to eletta.
#Rivelia Hi Tom! Do you remember my comment from Spain in your video about the Eletta where I asked you about the Rivelia brew group? Well, in the end we bought the Rivelia! And we are impressed. It is too soon to get conclusions but seems to be a great machine, just like you told me. Please, try to test it, we would learn a lot from you. Greetings from Spain and again, thanks a lot.
Nice! I have a question: breville sgp + zp6 or only df54? I want a setup for pour over and espresso.
In Brazil, sgp + zp6 ($400) is the same price as df54 ($400)
Is the hotness of the milk adjustable??
Could you try and compare a Nivona (8000) machine? Especially since it is similarly priced to the sage touch impress
Would say the Eletta Explore looks more sexy, and also has a more easy to reach touch screen (at front). Thanks for showing!
#Rivelia I got mine since half a month, but I would love to see how you bring out its full potential.
How are you liking it so far? Do you switch out the hoppers?
@@TomsCoffeeCorner I'm so much loving it, but I've never have a SA before. I switch between 100% arabica and a blend of Arabica+Robusta. If I need to put decaf, I think I would use the pre-grinded.
I had always tons of issues grinding different quality beans. How does it works when switching from 70%Arabica to 100%Arabica, dark roasted to medium etc..? Thanks
What kind of issues were you having with the grinding? I haven’t noticed any issues with that on my super automatics so far.
Looks quite cool and at least something new in the space. Does it do cold brew? Seems to be the in feature, even the upcoming Sage Oracle Jet has that function apparently!
I’m not sure about cold brew, I’ll have to look into it. I’m guessing not though…
It does have the cold brew function for coffee but you have to buy the lattecool crema upgrade in order to unlock cold brew milk based drinks
#Rivelia full review please!
Hey Tom. Recently i stumbled upon the fact that there exists dedica ec885. I was wondering if i could use steam wand from it in my ec685 instead of ranciallo silva wand. Do you happen to know if they are compatible?
It should work. But you also will need a different steam valve. I will do a video on it soon.
#Rivelia We have a Rivelia and i'd like to see your review to understand if the machine works fine here, especially with coffe
Aee the burrs replaceable/removable on this model? Is there enough acces to them to clean them more than other De'Longhi SA models?
Boy, I’m not sure about the burrs. I will have to look into that when I get one someday.
Got ours today what is the best settings for a flat white please
Good question - experiment with it until you get what you like. You can play with the milk texture using the knob. I like it at about 3/4 to full froth. Cheers!
I would love a comparison between rivelia and dinamica plus. #rivelia
Nice design and screen. On the photo's I saw of the model it is not clear if you can lift the screen a bit. #Rivelia
No, the screen stays where it is.
Will you please consider reviewing it, the machine would work well in a small minimal kitchen, but would like to hear you thoughts on it :)
@@DM-dq1mh I think it’ll be quite good, like a smaller Dinamica. Still trying ti get my hands on one…
#Rivelia!
When will this be available in the United States? #Rivelia
Good question. I really don’t know when they will roll it out internationally.
It's be nice if the "grind & empty" option allowed you to collect the grounds to use later.
Unfortunately, it just dispenses them into the used puck bin.
@@TomsCoffeeCorner No surprise. Have a good weekend.
Can you recommend a good quality expresso machine new or old machine for around $100-150
ECP3420 :)
@@TomsCoffeeCorner I just bought a used dedica ec680 $75. It included a bottomless porrafilter. I bought some pre ground Starbucks expresso. I didn’t have a damper but I pressed it down with something else. I didn’t get any crema. Is this machine capable of making a shot like yours comes out?
