    Hi mate, struggling to decide to get one of these or a semi automatic machine in the breville barista pro machine.
    Which one does better coffee ?
    Cheers mate

      I haven't used the Breville Barista Pro myself, but I can vouch for the Rivelia. Even now I'm reviewing the much more expensive Delonghi Elatta Explore, and I still prefer te Rivelia for value and ease of use.

    Aren’t all or most of your downsides catered for in the slightly more expensive PrimaDonna Soul….?. I originally looked at the Maestro, then the Soul then this came out. Thanks for the local look and impressions. I like the footprint & the dual removable bean grinder containers of this but may still go the Soul one day when…..😁👍

      At a glance, you could be right! I haven't used it myelf, but can see the screen position is clearly better. Does look bigger. Need to get my hands on it!

      @@graemeclark6671 Just unboxed the Eletta Explore. Much bigger than the Rivelia and not as sexy, but loooks like it can do plenty. Will know more after a few weeks of use. Cold brew is a big focus by the looks of it.

    hey can you give me info about this coffee maker ? I want to know how much milk can be poured at the minimum and how much coffee its max with minimum milk. I drinking coffee with max 70-100 ml milk in my loved big mug. I want a lot of coffee with 70-100ml milk. Maybe 2x coffee with 50ml milk ? My mug have 500ml capacity

    • @motivatedtravel
      @motivatedtravel  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think you should be able to achieve this goal. I usually put double shot of coffee in there, and then you've got a decent amount of milk control. I have the opposite problem in that I want a bit more coffee and milk. I don't have a machine at the moment, so I can't test it directly for you. If I can find out more information I will let you know.

    Do you know if I can put chocolate milk in the milk frothing? Or can I only use milk?

    • @motivatedtravel
      @motivatedtravel  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hmm... I don't know, but my gut is telling me it's not wise. I've been putting the chocolate in the cup and then letting the milk mix in with it.
      It could work, my worry would be the chocolate clogging the froth head.

    I was undecided until i watched your review! Went and bought one from Harvey Norman today while on special 😊 I came here to tell you it definitely has the MY option which allows a free ppir for the coffee which you tell it when to stop then does the same for the milk. This option is in the setting where you can adjust the size and intensity. Hooe that makes sense! Great review, thankyou 😊

      I hope your enjoying it. And thanks for the tips on MY, it wasn't in the particular coffee settings I was using for my type of coffee, which is unfortunate. But seems to be available elsewhere. I'm glad it's there and embarassed that I missed it.
      Enjoy your coffee!

    I’ve had two fully auto Delonghi Machines - the Eletta Explore and the Primadonna Soul. Both have the “My” function which allows you to customise the beverage quantities exactly how you like (more/less milk & water). No clue why this model being newer wouldn’t have that functionality.
    Also noticed the extra shot function which is good, that’s a new function.

    • @motivatedtravel
      @motivatedtravel  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's interesting. Just relooked through the UI, and definitely cannot see that feature.
      I do wonder how many "features" De'Longhi holds back on given it has so many entries in the space. It needs to - perhaps artificially - create points of differentiation. That could just be my inner cynic.

      @@motivatedtravel Great review! I've had my Rivelia 7 days now and I love it. The first thing I didn't like was the angle of the display. It would have been so easy to angle it forward. On the subject of the "My" function, mine definitely has it and I use it to customise my quantities as mentioned above. Double check the settings to see if it's disabled on yours maybe
