Speaking of enormous did you know Meraxes other eggs got hatch and none of them were mentioned. Sunburst the golden terror, Shatterstone and Sunder. I think no one have claimed them no stated they died. They are free dragons coming from one of the biggest dragon Westeros. I bet they are huge as Vhagar.

Battle Of Rook's Nest will be episode 4 , it's confirmed . They should have named it " The Queen Who Never Was " instead of " Dance Of Dragons " but it's fine
I fear I’m not gonna like how Sunfyre looks in the show and if that’s the case I’d rather just keep him in my imagination but obviously that will be unavoidable

First I wanna say: great video, well put together. Only downside, which I somewhere understand, is you don't tell us about their death because of "spoilers". It would be nice to have a video where you also speak about their fights and how they die. Just put a spoiler alert at the beginning of the video.
Thanks for watching & I really appreciate the feedback as well. I tried to keep this one as spoiler free as I could, but I also like some of the more spoiler filled stuff as well. So I started doing a series im calling "Dissecting the Dance" in which i go over every Dragon Battle that takes place during the Dance of the Dragons. Vagar was born before 1 AC, she was huge by the time of the conquest. Born at least 50 years before the conquest
Vhagar was born in 52 BC & Died on the 22nd day of 130 AC

I was hoping that we'd maybe get a flashback scene of when he was still alive. I think season 1 missed a good opportunity to have a flashback scene of Viserys & Balerion's final flight.
Can’t wait to see some of these Dragons again.
And see the others for the first time.

There kind of is three mire dragons, although we wont see any of those fighting until the very end
The only ones I didn't mention in the video were Stormcloud & Morning but they won't be appearing on the show according to the official list of Dragons released by HBO.
I think that cannibal might have mated sometime after the dance of the dragon's where Danys 3 egs would be laid but never hatched because of cannibals old age and eventual death but that is just my opinion 😊
I know its not canon at all but I hope Rhaena claims the Cannibal. He very well could die during the dance allowing her to claim Morning when she hatches.
My beloved and favorite Dragon 🐉 in House Of The Dragon 🐉 is Caraxes.

I want Syrax to live into season 2 and beyond
Rhaenyra shared her cradle with syrax so she’s grown up with her
Its actually never stated that Rhaenyra shared a cradle with Syrax like some of the other Targaryen children. It only states that Rhaenyra claimed her at age 7 & named her & that Syrax was a young Dragon at the time.
Actually it was stated when she went to dragon stone to retrieve her brothers egg that daemon stole he said in high valerian you shared your cradle with a dragon when you were born I want the same for my child so we do know

Balerion was born in Valyria, Vhagar & Meraxes were both born on Dragonstone though, after the Targaryens fled the Doom.

Unless HBO decides to incorporate them later, they're not part of the list of the 17 confirmed dragons that HBO released that will be in HOTD , the ones he went over in this video are.
What happen to Meraxes children Sunburst ( the golden terror ), Sunder ( the red shy queen dragon), Shatterstone ( The curious ).
If i am not mistaken they should be older than Dreamfyre and Vermithor why they never got mentioned.
And it was never they died and i am hoping they are also residing in Dragonstone if the writter changes the story i would rather love to see Rhaneyra claiming Sunburst and Sunburst facing and killing Sunfyre. The battle of golds.

They weren't in the books, but on the show i kno alot of fans think that could be the case. Maybe we'll find out more during season 2.

Isn't the name Aemond Targaryen, pronounced with a "D" at the end? Not Aemon like you said at 5:06 and at 5:24??? Even if the names sound almost the same they are different Aemon, Aegon, Daemon, Aemond, Daeron, Aeron... I'm pretty sure I've seen a video same years back when GOT was in full force, where George R R Martin gave an interview and corrected the interviewer on this exact subject where he refered to Aemond Targaryen just like you said it Aemon" and not pronounced the "D" and George explained it. The duel is something epic in the lore of the books, it's so epic that even the names are somewhat connected and in an antithesis: if you take the "D" from Daemon and add it at the end of Aemon, you get Aemond. I'm not a grammar nazi or something, but maybe you know the names wrong and I wanted to point out this thing about the names.
You must not be familiar with Jeremy’s channel, that’s just his Boston accent. It can sometimes sound like he’s not pronouncing a D or an R here and there but he is. He’s literally an encyclopedia of ASOIAF knowledge, there’s not much about the source material that he doesn’t know.
How was Vhagar born in 52AC when she was part of the Conquest?
Since 52 is the correct date I think it's fairly obvious he simply meant to say BC instead of AC
It's a shame they made Vhagar so ugly and didn't make her fit GRRM's description of her.
Yea im not the biggest fan of the design either. Miguel Sapochnik portrayed Vhagar as this old broken down Dragon which is nothing like the magical ferocious beings GRRM describes.

Not to me, that's how she's described in both Fire & Blood & in the official ice & fire wiki. "In 75 AC Meleys was considered one of the swiftest Dragons in Westeros, easily outpacing other Dragons like Caraxes & Vhagar. By 129 AC Meleys had grown lazy in her older age but was still fearsome when roused"
How are all the dragons related? I know that Syrax and Caraxes are from eggs laid by Meleys. But the others?
Unfortunately George hasn't revealed where most of the Dragons come from. Although we do know for sure that Vermax, Arrax, Tyraxes & Morning all came from Syrax.

This was the official list HBO released when season 1 aired. Originally, we were only supposed to be getting 17 out of the 21 Dragons that are active during the Dance. Stormcloud, Morghul, Shrykos & Morning weren't originally apart of it. Not until changes were made during the production of s2.

I've been wondering about Morning, Stormcloud & Morgul as well. None of them were on the official list released on the hbo max website when season 1 aired. Im hoping it'll be subject to change though as the seasons progress & hopefully Morning & Morgul will make an appearance

How tf did sunfyre kill gray ghost
After Rooks Rest when Sunfyre could eventually fly again, he ran into Grey Ghost on his way to Dragonstone where the two fought.
I was disappointed with Vhagars look in house of the dragon, looks like a flying brontosaurus.
Yea i would've preferred a stronger Dragon look as well. That was all Miguel Sapochnik modeling Vhagar from a dinosaur skull.

HBO isn't going to include them, he only talked about the 17 Dragons that were confirmed to being in the show, in the books there were 21, HBO cut out the four youngest dragons that don't really see much fighting during The Dance, though I was surprised they cut out Stormcloud given an important role he plays in the book (if you know, you know).
