Luke is hands down the best scenic modeler online. His work is simply amazing and with his photography skills you can easily be fooled into thinking his dioramas are real.
I am shocked every time I watch one of these. They are so creative and detailed. I actually tried making my own one based on one of your videos which was fun.
@@gardenman3 My first model ship was terrible, but a couple years later and learning a few little tricks, I just finished my 4th ship and it came out great. Too bad it was a gift for someone because I wanted to keep it. It takes practice but once you are good at it, the more you'll want to do and better it will turn out.
Your work truly goes above and beyond every single time! We are extremely happy to officially partner with you. It's crazy how much can be done between our diorama kits and Woodland Scenics products. Even when presented with a challenge (such as mixing products to create a modelling paste), you are able to be innovative and rise above. Thank you for always being such an inspiration :)
Perfect timing for a Saturday evening. Time to sit back, chill and watch your amazing work for inspiration. Thank you for the time you put into all of these amazing dioramas.
I legit wanna see a medieval village or ruins or something like that. It would be amazing to watch you building different scenic diorama that fit together as a scene.
I think this is the best white water i have seen from a model video. I think it captures the churn and foam better than fibre fill of the snow effect alone. Really cool to see!
Man you make this look way too easy. Great work. I bought some stuff the other day to give this a try and have no idea what I'm doing or where to start. Lmao..but at least I bought it haha.
lol, you gotta start somewhere 😃 It's mostly just practice, you'll quickly figure out what works and what doesn't. Plus as long as you're happy with it that's all that matters.
@@BoulderCreekRailroad hey thanks buddy. I've watched you for the last year or 2 and I really enjoy what you do. I would like to see what I can do. All the woodland scenics are online I'm guessing because I couldn't find them at my local craft stores.. Michael's and Hobby Lobby
@@BoulderCreekRailroad I also wanted to say that my favorite ones of yours were the gold mine, that tall 12 story building with all the different rooms and that building that you replicated not that long ago. I really enjoy your format. There's no ego involved in your presentation whatsoever and I appreciate that a lot. And the talent that you have is incredible and I applaud you for that. Normally with my condition I have a hard time staying focused on a lot of videos but yours keeps me interested. Congratulations on your excellent talent.
I think that woodland scenics should pay You for promoting their products in such an excellent way. If not your videos i wouldn't even know about them. As always great and inspiring video. Cheers from Poland
Thank you Luke for your video. What a great idea for making the water plume. Thank you for all your hints and tips. May you and your family be blessed.
For trimming the edges of the ‘water’ have you considered a deburring tool designed for metal? I think it would give you less of a chamfer and also be less likely to dig in and take a big chunk out. Might not work but it might be worth a try.
Might also try passing a torch flame over the dulled chamfers to get them to match the smooth surfaces. Not sure if it works for resin like this, but it does for plastics, so worth a try
Superb diorama. It would be nice that the water behind the dam was full and translucid and the intake for the pipes, some debris on the bottom. But even so the diorama is perfect
Thanks Nicholas, yeah I wasn't sure how it would look with the water shelf design, I think it the end it gives an artistic look to the model which adds a bit of interest 😉

Amazing work! It is amazing to see how you created the realistic dam. It's a lot of work and not sure I have the patience to create the dam. I've learned a lot just be watching your video. I look forward to seeing more of your work. Thank you for sharing.
"We are going to start with the damn wall!"
Ok calm down dude 😜
By putting the accent on the word "wall," he did tend to make "dam" sound more like an adjective: "damn."
This had me laughing right from the jump
@@minutemark that’s the joke, but thanks for elaborating it.
This video is just 30 minutes of luke swearing at a wall for some reason
"The damn wall."
Wall abuse is not a joke, Jim. Millions of bricks suffer every year!

That was the best water sight teal i have ever seen
The dude painstakingly painted the corridors which nobody will be able to see well enough to notice. Freaking amazing.
That's called attention to detail and is the difference between a good model and an amazing model. Luke's models are always amazing.
