  • Sponsored by Scene-A-Rama, for their full range be sure to visit: scenearama.woodlandscenics.co...
    Templates and 3D printer files that were used in the creation of this model are available from the download section of my website: www.bouldercreekrailroad.com/...
    If you want to build dioramas and model scenery this is where to start, Scene-A-Rama have a range of starter kits that will get you started in building awesome dioramas that are perfect for school projects or even as a test bed for trying new techniques that can later be applied to a large model railroad.
    To create the dam wall shown in the video a Scene-A-Rama Water Diorama kit was use, however, it was supplemented with a range of products from Woodland Scenics to create the final project. Below are a list of products and the associated links on where to find them:
    Some of the products I used in the video were sent to me for the purpose of making this sponsored video but if you’ve been a follower of my channel you’ll notice I have purchased quite a lot of these products already, which is why I have no problems recommending them, they are great products and as you can see in my library of videos the results speak for themselves.

    Now this is sponsorship done right. You take the product that helps you, and explain why it's worthy of sponsorship through use and/or skill, and show the viewer how deep you can go with the product with your OWN expertise. I really like your videos dude, they really help me get my mind off of things.

    For trimming the edges of the ‘water’ have you considered a deburring tool designed for metal? I think it would give you less of a chamfer and also be less likely to dig in and take a big chunk out. Might not work but it might be worth a try.

    • @wich1
      @wich1 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Might also try passing a torch flame over the dulled chamfers to get them to match the smooth surfaces. Not sure if it works for resin like this, but it does for plastics, so worth a try

    Zoomed in, there is no way I wouldn't think this is still photography of a life-size dam. You are clearly head of the pack in your technique and coloring. You leave _no stone_ - unturned.
