- Perform better if the heart and lungs are working hard. But warm-up is not just to warm up. Refresh skill fundamentals incrementally. Warm up concepts and methods for consistency, self-confidence, and longevity of joints. Warm up general concepts to facilitate the particulars.
I'm sitting here applauding the beginner in the background getting the feel of being on skates. 🙂👏 Everyone has to start somewhere!
Do you, or can you do any basic videos on one foot balance, and outside edges for someone who has bad pronation?
Can you give us advice on how to relax your foot in the skate? Especially when skating backwards?
Great advice about the body positioning. Since recently, I'm working on keeping my back a bit more upwards when doing 3 turns and fancy wizard moves and that "parallel" back/legs athletic position helps me understand it.
Hi SaccoBelmonte, no easy answer to that question, but briefly, more refined balance allows better foot relaxation. Functional improvements through insoles or brainpower can also help the foot approach a state of ambient relaxation. This could be a topic of a future GARY MOVES lesson!

Have I not done that? It is a foundational convergence of skills. I have made a note of it, and thanks for the suggestion, nature lover.
what about insoles for supination?
Insoles can be part of the solution for any foot dysfunction, nature lover.
I think not warming up your ankles is quite dangerous.
...depends what tour de force you aspire to.
