I feel as if Anakin went down this route a purple light-saber would have fit his aesthetic perfectly, being trained in exactly how to combat and counter the dark side by understanding its power but while simultaneously being fully pledged towards the light outside of the Jedi's doctrines. @@jonathanflanagan1504 White wouldn't happen unless he specifically stole or somehow obtained a Sith's saber, because white is only possible when you take a red saber - red representing the dark side corruption of the kyber crystal within - and purify it with uncorrupted force powers. I think yellow would represent him better as I think qui gon would have trained anakin to seek out the dark side within him compared to the jedi orders way of repression
I remember the first “what if Qui-Gon trained Anakin” you did years ago, which led him to be easier swayed by Sidious. With all of the new things we know in the lore, it’s great that you’re doing an updated version. Keep it up.
Yeah, I too remember that one. I'm looking forward to see if Anakin would be able to foresee the invasion of the Yuzong Vongg like Palpatine did, and how he would effectively deployed ships like the Death Star, Star Killer Base, the Sun Eater.
Agustín Baletti It was this channel. I’ve been following this channel for 4 years and I’d normally play the original videos in my store whenever it was slow. In the original version, anakin still turns to the dark side and manages to kill Qui-Gon at the Temple as well as Obi-Wan on Mustafar. In a separate video he talked about what if he killed Obi-Wan and trained Luke and Leia as Sith. I pointed out that they are pretty much the same storyline, just different points in time.
I didn't agree with his theory that he'd be easier to sway to the dark side in my opinion I feel like he'd be more like grandmaster Luke Skywalker from legends or Jacen solo before he went on his sojuron throughout the galaxy for five years
Qui gon Jinn has always been one of my favorite characters. He was drastically different from most jedi. He was so attuned to the force and insightful. Not to mention he followed the living force unlike most.
I disagree. I think Anakin still would have returned to Tatooine to save his mother, but I think he would have arrived in time to save her and Qui-Gon Jinn would have helped him.

I wish he survived episode one and would work with anakin and obiwan as a trio of friends, quigon always trying to keep anakin from turning to the dark side and helping him deal with his issues with the Jedi order and especially the council. Ultimately he wouldn’t be able to and at the fight with sidious he could join mace kit fisto Eeth koth and the other one. Let me make a correction I’ve have rewatched it and have seen alot of the legends content and read up on him here and there it also gave me a better idea. But its also unfair to say that we dont know much about qui-gon just by watching the movie theres plenty of materials to work off of.
@@BoredmanTutorials From the movies we know that he has disagreements with the council, we know that he is Obi-Wan's master and that he wants to train Anakin because he believes him to be the chose one, we can also infer that he tries to help others where he can and that he is very wise. That's about it. From legends we know that he trained a padawan before Obi Wan who fell to the Dark Side when Qui-gon killed his father in front of him and ended up committing suicide rather than be captured. We also know that he abandoned Obi-Wan on a war torn planet at the age of 13. If anything Legends paints a rather grimmer picture, and outlines him as entirely inadequate in training Anakin.
@Holy Emperor Souther O get a feeling that Obi wan was getting closer to Anakin as a brother than a teacher and thats why he wasnt the right fit for Anakin especially since Anakin is seen to be more powerful Qui-gon would have probably helped him not turn to the dark side so easy and Mace windu would just made Anakin more powerful than what he already was
Hey, I'm liking this! I always wished that Qui-Gon hadn't been killed off in The Phantom Menace. With all due respect to Obi-Wan, I think Qui-Gon would've been a much better Master for Anakin, especially since he didn't seem as rigid and inflexible in the ways of the Jedi as the others.
asterisk197 actually that is incorrect,Jedi temple guards have gold lightsaber, not exactly the same as yellow, anyways,a yellow lightsaber represents balance between light and dark, while only using the light side, they want no one side to be superior, and they want balance, making it different than purple,it also means that the are a mix of guardian and consular, which means and they are a mix of relying on their lightsaber and using the force on a physical level, and a mix of relying on negotiations and using the force on a higher level,so while you are correct that his lightsaber shouldn’t be yellow,it is not the same shade as the guards lightsabers
Palpatine greatly feared all who wielded a yellow lightsaber; they where often intuned greatest with the will of the Force, as mostly Sentinel Jedi where "city or planet" residents.
No he would not have a yellow lightsaber because he is not a part of the Jedi Order PERHAPS he would have a white light saber or a purple lightsaber White because it is balanced not in the light or the dark side light the one Ahsoka Tano has in Rebels Or a purple lightsaber because he knows both the dark side AND the light side

Qui gon’s view on the force gave him unrivaled wisdom in my opinion. I feel like he would’ve been able to become some what of a teacher to dooku like he did to yoda. I think he’d be able to at least stabilize dooku in his views on the force
This is the best. I would love to see an entirely rewritten saga where Anakin didn’t turn to the dark side of the force. And The Jedi have to fight against the clones because Order 66 still happens.
My Prediction: Anakin cuts down Palpatine instead of siding with him. Order 66 Never happens. Obi-Wan would be weaker since Qui Gon's death prepels him to master Soresu. With him still alive he'd probably stick to Form 4. A Grey Anakin would be the strongest Jedi in history.
Qui-Gon would have seen through Palpatine eventually. Would the outcome of been the same, or would he have been able to save Anakin. I can't say. But the loss of Qui-Gon was a loss the Jedi could not afford.
Being that Qui-Gonn is my favorite jedi I enjoy any story to where he survives and I do enjoy your take on this subject up to a certain point, something that I don't think he would ever do. I'm a firm believer that Qui-Gonn is the true Jedi, that he listens to the Force first before anything/anyone else. And that the council are the diluted jedi, listening to the politics of the galaxy before the Force. I don't think Qui-Gonn would every train Anakin in the ways of the dark side or take him to Dathomir. Knowing he is to train Anakin to bring balance to the force, I don't understand why teaching him in the dark side or taking him to such a evil and corrupted place would help in Qui-Gonn's goal. We have seen tons of times in the books and comics to where Jedi can become corrupt to long exposer to the dark side and Qui-Gonn would not risk that for Anakin or himself falling to the dark. I think he would take Anakin to Unknown space and hide away there, telling him all aspect of the force but never teaching him the dark side, mainly because he would not really know how to train him in the dark side. Knowing that Anakin can turn fully to the dark so easily. I'm pretty sure people will disagree with me on this and perfectly fine, just throwing my take on it out there. Again always enjoy these episodes and all you do. May the Force be with you.
In the clone wars saga the center of the force with the father the son and the daughter. Balance is not when the dark side is absent. But when they both work together to destroy and regenerate. As discussed the Jedi were using the light side of the force in an incorrect manner. So then the sith may be as well.
There's a difference between teaching someone the Dark Side, and exposing them to it. Yoda takes Luke to the Dark Side locus on Dagobah for a similar reason; he knows Luke will have to face off against at least one, probably 2 very powerful Sith at some point, as that is the whole plan for him. In that case, it's probably best that his very first exposure to the Dark Side is *not* when the future of the Galaxy and the Force are at stake...
I love the amount of thought and detail you put into this video and alternate storyline. I wish we could have a spin of series where these events happen bc I want to see more of Qui-gon
@Mr. C You mean Dooku? Because count Dooku was the greatest duelist the Jedi ever trained. Dooku even scared Palpatine after going toe to toe with Yoda. You're making mace Windu sound like a Mary sue.
Some friends and I had an idea for a Star Wars tv series set in an alternate reality. In it, Qui-Gon was unable to free Anakin from his slavery on Tatooine, and instead, Darth Maul found him and decided to train him as his secret apprentice. Being trained by one of the greatest light-saber duelists of the time. Later in the series, Palpatine finds out, kills Maul, then takes Anakin as his apprentice. Now being trained by one of the greatest dark side force users, and not getting chopped up and burned on Mustifar, we get to see Anakin at his full potential. I have this vision of a season finale with full-strength Anakin standing against a huge number of Jedi. As he cuts them down, he controls their lightsabers with the force, and uses them to fight more and more Jedi at once. It would be an amazing story and would allow for some absolutely sick fight scenes.
Kind of odd IMO that you made Dooku evil still. I think it can be argued even as a "sith" that he was more of a dark Jedi. Qui-gons death is the straw that broke the camels back for him. I think without that, he still would have been on the good side at the least, though yes willing to experiment with some of the dark side abilities with Qui-gon to train Anakin and give himself greater strength.
What if, instead of ditching the clones in favor of recruits, the empire had stuck with clones and simply turned up all their chips like they did with Crosshair?
A splinter cell Jedi order with Dooku, Qui-gon, Obiwan and Anakin would’ve been absolutely unstoppable. Sidious would be stuck with Maul and couldn’t turn Anakin. They could’ve reformed the Jedi order to be balanced and connected with the force, not stupidly afraid of attachment or even studying the dark side within them. Given the clone wars shows yoda being taught by Qui-gon I think Yoda was open minded and wise enough to have joined on too and at that point the entire order could’ve been reformed and saved with Qui Gon and Anakin ushering in a new era and defeating Sidious. Damn. What could’ve been…

i have my theories that if qui gon had trained anakin, palpatine wouldn't have been able to use the methods he did to sway him to his side. i also have to agree that taking him to dathomir would be wise, despite it being a dark side planet, the residents don't quite follow it the same way the sith do. maul (as far as i know) was only brought there to recover (which in this video he will not need to) and dooku only to gain savage as an apprentice. the planet surprisingly doesn't seem to have much interaction with the sith. also as a side note, i was wondering if your would do a 'what if' kylo ren didn't need his lightsaber to have a crossguard or if he found and used darth vader's sith lightsaber. after seeing him wield the skywalker lightsaber against the knights of ren so fluently, myself and a few others have thought the crossguard he used made his style exactly like luke said about the knights of ren using the force as a hammer while he used it like a blade.

We need a part two. Star Wars Theory made a theory about exactly the same concept and it was absolute nonsense from the very start. This is so much more realistic and logical in the SW universe. I really want a part two
I feel like JJ Abrams can make an alternate timeline version of star wars using this video's synopsis to make a new prequel trilogy that's more satisfying than the one we have now. Anyone Agree? 🤔🤷♂️

Jedi: we are busy
Qui Gon: all are busy
Jedi: yes sit on comfy chairs we do.
Qui Gon: send help there is a sith lord

Jedi: our plan worked we got him killed.
@Ms Taylor exactly I know that main reason why Mace Windu really wanted Darth Sidious dead was because he was a sith lord which being a sith isnt a crime also they threatened him they drew their weapons first technically that's asking for trouble. CIS or the Separtist get a world Jedis say we cant let them have it even tho the planet means nothing to us.
@Ms Taylor I do believe no side was really good except for the way QuiGon and Luke's way of the force the Jedis used Anakin for their deeds like a slave Anakin bring balance to the force only a jedi world ok that's good dont let him in the Siths hands the sith he can destroy the sith and bring peace then I will kill him to find a new apprentice. Jedis say he can destroy the sith and bring balance to the force both were wrong except he did bring balance to the force killed the jedis and with the help of his son destroyed the sith so no side was really good.

A purple saber can happen naturally, as in the case with Mace Windu, and I agree with Daniel: it would have represented Anakin very well.

Wasn't that from Star Wars Theory???
Agustín Baletti It was this channel. I’ve been following this channel for 4 years and I’d normally play the original videos in my store whenever it was slow. In the original version, anakin still turns to the dark side and manages to kill Qui-Gon at the Temple as well as Obi-Wan on Mustafar. In a separate video he talked about what if he killed Obi-Wan and trained Luke and Leia as Sith. I pointed out that they are pretty much the same storyline, just different points in time.
The first video of his I ever watched was “Are All Sith Evil?”

Honestly, I feel like Qui Gon-Jinn could have been a much better and developed character if he was at least explained a bit more before he was killed off early.

The fact that Qui Gon was so attuned to the Force, I think he'd have trained Anakin to be a pure Jedi 👍 not a slave to the arrogant ways they followed. Qui Gon followed the will of the force and nothing else.
@@bobjohnson-ub1sx one thing for sure, qui gon wouldnt let mace windu treat the way obi wan let all the things windu have done harshly treating anakin, qui gon is vicious in the jedi council on what he believes, like you said hes so attuned to the force, his faith to the force rivals yoda. at the same time the council acknowledges him and respected him, i believe anakin wouldnt turn to the dark side because qui gon would treat him better but most importantly would make the council follows.
I think they could have an incredibly emotional and powerful moment of anakin being so concerned about Padme that he would betray quigon though he would not be corrupt enough to kill him and would ask sidious to dew it for him.
If he'd lived he probably would've filled the role that Palpatine did. Anakin would've trained under Kenobi, but when he needed a mentor and friend he would turn to Qui-gon.
I have a good idea, what if Anakin spared the younglings...
Moreover, supposing Anakin had not only spared the Jedi younglings, but went a step further and saw to it that they would be trained as dark side acolytes, something akin to the Inquisitors.

I want this idea turned into a book, I would read the heck out of it
I believe that qui gon would've made things easier and more understanding for Anakin as well as help him understand why things happen and the reasons behind them. He would open his eyes to the true nature of things.
I rewatched phantom menace again and i came to the conclusion that yes qui-gon jinn would have been a better master for anakin.
That's because we hardly know anything about Qui-gon by just watching the movie, that makes fans romanticize him and attribute qualities to him, that he doesn't have.

@Holy Emperor Souther O get a feeling that Obi wan was getting closer to Anakin as a brother than a teacher and thats why he wasnt the right fit for Anakin especially since Anakin is seen to be more powerful Qui-gon would have probably helped him not turn to the dark side so easy and Mace windu would just made Anakin more powerful than what he already was
I like how this story is turning out and I feel like your ideas here are definitely very plausible. I look forward to part two!
"Not Jedi, not sith...." BEHOLD! THE FAR SIDE OF THE FORCE!
Like being trained by a high performing player instead of the head coach.
Why do you believe Anakin would possess a Yellow lightsaber? Yellow lightsabers were mainly for protectors, such as the Jedi Sentinels/Temple guards.
asterisk197 actually that is incorrect,Jedi temple guards have gold lightsaber, not exactly the same as yellow, anyways,a yellow lightsaber represents balance between light and dark, while only using the light side, they want no one side to be superior, and they want balance, making it different than purple,it also means that the are a mix of guardian and consular, which means and they are a mix of relying on their lightsaber and using the force on a physical level, and a mix of relying on negotiations and using the force on a higher level,so while you are correct that his lightsaber shouldn’t be yellow,it is not the same shade as the guards lightsabers
But,if channeled, anakin might as well have had a yellow lightsaber
Palpatine greatly feared all who wielded a yellow lightsaber; they where often intuned greatest with the will of the Force, as mostly Sentinel Jedi where "city or planet" residents.
No he would not have a yellow lightsaber because he is not a part of the Jedi Order PERHAPS he would have a white light saber or a purple lightsaber
White because it is balanced not in the light or the dark side light the one Ahsoka Tano has in Rebels
Or a purple lightsaber because he knows both the dark side AND the light side
I think your right, i heard Luke Skywalker was supposed to have had A Yellow lightsaber. Instead of Blue / Green, i have a original Luke Skywalker action figure , it has a yellow lightsaber, before they changed it to Green

This is the best. I would love to see an entirely rewritten saga where Anakin didn’t turn to the dark side of the force. And The Jedi have to fight against the clones because Order 66 still happens.
Please keep up with the “What Ifs?” That’s what I started watching back in the day and loved.
Literal chills. This is wonderful. Someone give this man a raise.
My Prediction:
Anakin cuts down Palpatine instead of siding with him.
What if Mace Windu trained Anakin? Mace would have taught Anakin how to properly use his emotions and both sides of the force.
Mace Window straight up hated Anakin, no freaking way is he training him lol
Mace Windu was a jealous jerk.
Didt u touch up a kid

Kind of odd IMO that you made Dooku evil still. I think it can be argued even as a "sith" that he was more of a dark Jedi. Qui-gons death is the straw that broke the camels back for him.
I think without that, he still would have been on the good side at the least, though yes willing to experiment with some of the dark side abilities with Qui-gon to train Anakin and give himself greater strength.

They could’ve reformed the Jedi order to be balanced and connected with the force, not stupidly afraid of attachment or even studying the dark side within them.

I've been watching your content for about two years but this video is the one that made me subscribe, well done.
i have my theories that if qui gon had trained anakin, palpatine wouldn't have been able to use the methods he did to sway him to his side. i also have to agree that taking him to dathomir would be wise, despite it being a dark side planet, the residents don't quite follow it the same way the sith do. maul (as far as i know) was only brought there to recover (which in this video he will not need to) and dooku only to gain savage as an apprentice. the planet surprisingly doesn't seem to have much interaction with the sith.
also as a side note, i was wondering if your would do a 'what if' kylo ren didn't need his lightsaber to have a crossguard or if he found and used darth vader's sith lightsaber. after seeing him wield the skywalker lightsaber against the knights of ren so fluently, myself and a few others have thought the crossguard he used made his style exactly like luke said about the knights of ren using the force as a hammer while he used it like a blade.
