then obi wan and anikan fight obi wan Tris to kill him but mace and Yoda block with sabers then palpitine kills Yoda and mace kills maul then obi wan kills palpitine with redemption and saves mace and ani
I can just imagine Darth Maul and Obi wan lying at the bottom of the shaft and being like Darth Maul: Hey Obi wan: wasup Darth maul: wanna join the dark side Obi wan: sure I got nothing else to do on Fridays
Yoda: train a padawan you must before becomingjedi knight or master you will Obi wan: do not worry master yoda Yoda: proud of you i am now train the Chosen One you will Obi Wan: wait you are joking right? Yoda: do not worry you said now train him you will Obi Wan: i am ok with training someone while not being a padawan but i cant train the chosen one Yoda: troubling this is Qui Gons last wish being fulfilled it will not Obi Wan: wha- i can fulfill his dying wish i will show you Yoda mind: getting Obi Wan to train the boy i did this will come back to bite me in the future it will not The Plot: he was wrong
Obi Wan never gets enough credit. He balanced Anakin out. Despite their conflicts the two ended up being very close and being best friends. While I think Anakin may have told Qui Gon about Padme, I doubt it changes anything. Qui Gon's philosophy seemed to be that the ends justify the means. I think this would only give Anakin the idea that his desire to save Padme was completely justified despite using the dark side to do it. After all once he saw Mace Windu basically say this about killing Palpatine, it pretty much made Anakin flip. I think Qui Gon teaching Anakin this philosophy would only have given Anakin the idea to look to the darkside even sooner.
No qui gon was the teacher to train anakin because qui gon was as wise as Yoda. And i would say quigon was close to a true jedi in the force more than anything.
Yeah HISHE really needs to do that and make another alternate outcome of THE PHANTOM MENACE when Qui-Gon actually survives that battle with Maul and becomes Anakin's master
@@darksiderider1233 I'm pretty sure we saw where Maul landed in one of the comics or something, basically just an empty room from what I remember. I think he survived because it was like the chutes in Empire, curved n' shit.
When i look at the way Yoda advised Anakin when he was afraid about Padmes life, i don't think so. I see why Yoda is seen as wise, well i think many of the stuff he said is bullshit and imo he was a huge part in Anakin turning to the dark side. After the Jedi purge and after his death, he got better though.
Anakin was rebellious under the training of Obi-Wan, but Anakin would be respectful as heck under Qui-Gon and they’d have a father-son like relationship. Unlike Anakin and Obi-Wan’s brotherly relationship.
Hed still have some of his tendencies as he got older but yeah hed be respectful. Hed also have more control and a better ability to harness his emotions and feelings with quigons non typical and more old school force beliefs.
@Rai I think you are right. Obi-Wan was what 14 years older than Anakin? I feel like Anakin saw Obi-Wan as a father but they had a relationship more akin to a brother. Brothers compete. They try to outdo one another. And one thing a younger brother hates is for his brother to be his boss. Especially as they get older. I feel like they had the classic "I can do what I want to my brother but no one else can" relationship. Owing to that Had Palpatine killed Obi-Wan I feel like Anakin kills Palpatine in vengeance. But that's just my fan theory. Obviously Anakin didn't accept Obi-Wans as a father. You are right there.
Cause Obi-Wan promised to Qui Gon that he will train Anakin. Only problem was that Obi-Wan was not experienced for big challenge like that, so he failed.
You know loosing Qui Gon Jinn was the biggest loss in this story. I think the legend of bringing balance to the force was certainly true, but I think the prophesy of the Jedi could only have been made complete with Qui Gon. I think having the wrong Master flipped the prophesy towards the dark side before the balance was brought.
Sometimes things need to get worse before they get better. And sometimes that makes for a better story. Ultimately Anakin did bring balance thanks to Luke being the light he needed to resolve his inner conflict. I often wonder what would have been of the sequel trilogy had Disney, JJ, and Rian Johnson not made their anti-trilogy and de-canonized the entire expanded universe.
He did bring balance to the force. What you’re saying is completely one sided for the lightside. He brought balance to the force when he fell to the darkside when the lightside were too powerful and he came back to lightside when darkside were too powerful. All these quigons death ,mothers death, fear of losing padme, they were all destined to be.He was always destined to fall into the darkside
Hey guys, tomorrow's video is 'What if Mace Windu Killed Darth Sidious?" I am glad you all enjoyed this video, and I hope you stay for many many more to come!!
My friend, have you watch "Palpatine is not invincible", made by EvanNova96, Jensarai1 and Reti4. Mace would defeat Sidious, because Vaapad chanel the dark side of Sidious, and the Sith Lord would continue use more dark side, until his body just fall down and explode, and Sidious would become a wound in the force. So, the question is: Will Mace Windu survive the explosion? And yeah, cool video by the way, but Kenobi would die, and I really love Kenobi, so... it's sad
Under the right circumstances. He was still young and could have easily felt abandoned by Qui Gon. There's also the possibility of major head trauma that could give him issues with his memory.
Reavx I hated the spin on the end with no explanation but if obi Wan wasn't even fully knighted and indoctrinated without a doubt of the jedi ways he most certainly could've fallen to the dark side. Even masters have turned to the dark but it would be easier to turn young obi over to seeking power, instead of being with the jedi, who only got him unimaginable pain of losing the battle and being damaged.
I remember seeing a YTP that changed it to be: "Don't be a pawn of the jedi council, be a pawn of the dark side" And that more or less sums up Episode 3 lol
I actually would've had Maul finish off Obi-Wan by consuming his Force energy to survive and draw more power like how Darth Nihilus survived the Malachor IV cataclysm
We need a 'what-if' timeline where qui-gon left the order to train Anakin; leaving obi-wan to complete trials in the order. Then qui-gon could train him in the True ways of the force. Not merely within the constraints of the council who had become rupublic/Palpatine puppets. WHOLE DIFFERENT STORY!!!
Something that always killed me was even though anakin had so much doubt against the jedi at this point he still tries to see there point of view and turn over palpatine and told mace, he did everything right and mace was going to kill palapatine the exact thing anakin felt and wanted to do but was wrong he lost all faith in that moment
IN THIS TIME LINE DOOKU WOULD NOT HAVE JOINED THE SITH SINCE IT WAS THE LOSS OF HIS FRIEND QUI GON THAT CAUSED HIM TO JOIN THE SITH HE WOULD HAVE AIDED IN TRAINING SKY WALKER U SHOULD PUT THIS IN YOUR STORY THANKS
The one plot hole I find in this scenario, is this; Would Anakin really engage in a romantic relationship with Padme, having received the disciplinary training from Gin, and even if he did, wouldn't Gin be aware?
I think he would support it and guide it. Qui Gon did not only studied the light side of the force. He studied the dark side to brimg back someone he loved. So he would understand Anakin and woyld probably be able to give better guidance to him than the whole jedi council combined.
You guys have to remember that the Obi Wan in this movie is still young and a learning padawan. He isn’t the old and wise Jedi Master we see in the 3rd movie. Therefore, it isn’t completely unrealistic that he makes the turn to the Dark Side, especially after spending time with Darth Maul where ever they ended up.
EXACTLY!!!!!! I said this exact thing on another video. Whenever people cry about Anakin being whiny or how Anakin and Obi Wan aren't simply good mates like described in episode 4 they always ignore that from the beginning their relationship was rocky because they both saw Qui Gon as a father so Obi Wan was more comfortable viewing Anakin as his step-brother but Anakin needed a father figure. Unfortunately Obi Wan being unable to fill that role left it open for Palpatine.
@@rikudoubapeck Yeah Obi-Wan definitely was more like a strict older bro than a fatherly figure of a master as Qui-Gon could've been to Anakin had he lived
I doubt that. Just look at Dooku - him and Qui Gon are exactly the same. Free thinkers in Jedi Order and look where this led Dooku. To dark side. As it was pointed - for Qui Gon outcomes of actions was more important than actions itself, so Anakin would probably learn even earlier that using Dark Side to "save Padme" is good if Padme is saved, as the outcome is good. Heck - that is kind of why he kind of flipped when Windu did the same fighting with Palpatine. Not to mention Qui Qon was decived by Darth Plagueis, he believe that jedi should follow the force, not the jedi order, and he believed that the force led him to Anakin, and that Anakin is the choose one, where in books it was kind of revealed Anakin was most likely made by Plagueis and his midichlorian experiments, which led him to believe - he is close to become immortal.
Samuel Yes. I'd like to hear about an alternate timeline where Luke was adopted by the Organas and Leia was raised on Tattooine by Owen and Beru/watched over by Obi-Wan.
In an interview, George Lucas said he was going to make Leia the hero of the story, but changed his mind because in 1977 the world was not ready for a female hero yet.
I feel like this could have been expanded upon further. For example, Count Dooku had originally left the Jedi after the death of Qui Gon because he was dissatisfied with how the order was dealing with it, but with Qui Gon not dead, would Dooku have left to become Darth Tyrannus? How would Qui Gon have reacted to Anakin's visions of his mother? Obi Wan told him to let go of them but would Qui Gon? Or would he have let Anakin return to Tatooine early? If so, he would have saved her sooner and prevented her death and Anakin's destruction of the Sand people. Would Qui Gon have discovered Anakin's and Padmè's relationship sooner than Obi Wan did? He was older and had been in his own relationship beforehand, maybe Anakin would have revealed it to him, so when the visions of Padmè's death in childbirth started Qui Gon could have been far more supportive in helping Anakin stay calm. Would Anakin and Palpatine have been as close friends? Qui Gon was always weary of the Senate, and with Qui Gon acting as a father figure for Anakin would Palpatine have been as effective with his manipulation? I can't help but feel you've only scratched the surface here, there is so much more to be explored with an idea like this~
masterdarklink1 I think Qui-Gon would've letted Anakin go to Tatooine to save his mother and like a father he also would've supported Anakin's feelings for Padme.
In the current Canon, Dooku had left the Jedi Order by the time of Qui-Gon is training Obi-Wan. He went back to his home world to take over governing following the death of his father. Apparently he always felt a certain pull to the dark side.
masterdarklink1 aside from all this, I think they would have lost the clone wars really early without obi wan and anakin. That pairing really carried the war.
Pedro Gomes yah... he could have just said that sidious brought back maul in order to complete his training. Maul would then take dooku's place in the storyline.
It was not Qui-Gon Jinn that made him turn it was what the Jedi saw in the force when he turn the Jedi didn't know about Order 66 or the chancellor was a Sith Lord but Count Dooku saw that in the force
There is a plot hole in this If Jinn had really taught Anakin the true Jedi way then he would never have married Padme (as a Jedi cannot have any attachments) That would have made him immune to Palatine's brainwashing.
Actually Jinn was a GREY JEDI meaning he didn't always follow all those cold rules of the Jedi order, meaning he wouldn't have minded about Anakin falling in love with Padme
@@gibbs615 I love the Gray Jedi code, it doesn't sound as powerful as the sith code, but sounds so in balance, contrary to the Jedi code were they just don't acknowledge emotions
What if the ENTIRE rest of the Senate walked in and started protesting about his statement and then Paparazzi showed up camera flashing him in the face through the window?
Ikr like damn so he fell and died but maul survived being cut in half? Doesn't make sense. Leaving both bodies down there makes no sense... I'd want to prove maul was dead just as much as obi wan so I could tell the council so they didn't think I just dropped sued off somewhere never to be seen again lol
This was fun! There’s something you overlooked though. Palpating would have never allowed qui gon and anakins relationship to grow. He would have used Dooku who was qui gons master to in some way betray qui gon or get him out of the picture.
I think Obi-wan could possibly have fallen under different circumstances, however it is unfathomable to me that he would ever join with Sidious or even Maul, especially this late in his training. Dooku would probably have been the only one capable of leading him to the dark side if he had confided in him during his own fall after Qui-Gons death, but since Qui-Gon is alive in this timeline that also wouldn't have happened. Of the Jedis shown in the prequel movies until that point, I believe that none are really prone to turning to the dark side with the possible exception of Kit Fisto under very very unlikely circumstances.
maul did what other sith did in history and reject death one lord went as far as to have "died" dozens of times only to come back submersed in yet another layer of darkness tho i forget the name he was never defeated but became one with the force
Darth Sion was the sith that died several times and at the end his body was rotten and falling apart and the only thing that kept him alive was his hatred and pain which the exile saved him from in the end.
See, there's another plot hole witht this theory: Palpatine follows the Rule of Two, therefore he would have more than likely disposed of either maul or Kenobi.
Sadly, I can see why Obi-Wan would turn, he was abandoned by his master and replaced by a nine-year old. He also might have suffered brain trauma from the fall and changed personality
Part 2 - Obi Wan yelled at Qui gon "YOU LEFT ME TO DIE THERE NOW YOU WILL SUFFER", ( While Obi Wan was with Maul in the pit Maul took Obi wan as his apprentice and he tough him the ways of the dark side and a different fighting style then the one Obi Wan was use to ). a tear drop falls down Qui Gons face "Your Alive" instantly Obi Wan furious and angry lunged at Qui Gon and he was surprised that Obi Wan is using a different fighting style ( Making Qui Gon at a Disadvantage ), they clashed blades and Maul ran at Anakin they clashed blades and anakin cut maul on his face but then maul attacked and then tripped anakin and anakin fell to the ground and suddenly Qui Gon Force pushed Obi Wan away knocking him off his feet and quickly attacked maul allowing anakin the chance to get up and just as Obi Wan rushed at Qui Gon anakin stood in the way and they clashed blades anakin and Qui gon were back to back while Obi Wan and Maul tried to break their defenses, meanwhile Yoda and Mace attacked Palp and he grabbed his other saber instead of using one, then anakin and Qui Gon switched opponents making Qui gon fight Obi Wan and Anakin fight Maul. Suddenly Obi Wan got the advantage and cut Qui Gon's head clean off, then anakin quickly turned around and seen Qui Gons head roll around on the floor and anakin just fell to the ground, Maul chuckled and had a big grin on his face and obi wan lowered his saber then all of a sudden anakin yelled as loud as he can "AAARRRRRR" his eyes were bright red Yoda, Mace and Palp stoped fighting and looked over and seen anakin, Maul and Obi, Mace said "anakin this is not the jedi way anakin was not responsive and he raised his hand to Maul and Force Choked him raising his body to the roof and then he slamed maul to the ground with enough force to shatter his bones, Obi Wan tried to hit anakin with his saber but anakin just through his lightsaber into Obi Wan's chest and the sent it back to his hands and force pushed Obi Wans body out of the window breaking the glass, in fear Palp dropped his saber and surrendered in fear of being killed by anakin and anakin fell to his knees and his eyes returned to normal and yoda walked over to anakin and placed his small hands on his shoulder and said "Always be with us Qui Gon Will". Later palp was brought to the senate in shock of him being the very thing they stood against they immediately voted for him to be executed. The End. I mainly focused on Qui Gon, Anakin, Obi Wan and Maul because people would want to know more about that Sorry for bad spelling and punctuation i speed typed this
dstorm eightzerothree I would think instead palp would sense anakin's rage and power beforehand and while the two Jedi were distracted, he would attempt to escape with his quick movements. Anakin would try to chase him but be met with a strike of force lightning pushing him back, but he wouldn't take much damage. Palp would then have to abandon anakin and initiate order 66 or find another way to lure him towards the dark side
dstorm eightzerothree And Qui Gon says"I thought you were dead, and I'm sorry,Obi Wan!" and Obi Wan says "It's to late for SORRY!!!!!!!" as Obi Wan eyes glow a very Very bright fire red hot orange yellow.
dstorm eightzerothree As then, like you said(expect more extreme)Obi Wan is so furious he shots pure black force lightning at Qui Gon.But instead, stout Mace out so far, goes through 11 cars and the Jedi Temple, killing his in microseconds.Obi Wan then yells in pure hated with Ultra Powerful a black-ish red lightsaber and becomes the most powerful, hated full, revenge full site lord.Five times more powerful then Luke from the EU.
Things probably would have still played out in much the same way. Palpatine didn’t really need Anakin honestly. Let’s start off at the beginning of episode III, with the rescue of the chancellor. Obi-Wan and a potential younger, less powerful Padawan of his board the Separatist flagship. Dooku more than likely kills them both. He and Palpatine get away on the ship, getting Palpatine away from the more powerful Jedi Masters such as Windu and Yoda, to a place where the Republic can’t track him, such as Exegol. With most of the Jedi spread out in the galaxy and with Palpatine safe from them, he declares order 66. The Separatist fleet returns to the republic capital to draw out and engage the Jedi masters and generals still at the temple, and Dooku, Grievous, and the 501st surprise attack the temple while they’re gone. Mace, Kit Fisto, and the other masters are shot down in space by their clone squadrons. Yoda survives on Kashyyk just like before, except now he’s the only known surviving master. Palpatine returns to the capital after all the Jedi there are defeated, and is still able to convince most of the senators that the Jedi tried to assassinate him. Grievous is ordered to destroy the separatist leaders, while Dooku stays with his master. Yoda knows that he can’t defeat both Palpatine and Dooku by himself, so he goes into hiding immediately. Maybe he tries to find an apprentice to train on Dagobah to eventually attempt to defeat the Emperor, though more likely he’s completely broken and hopeless, and eventually just dies alone on Dagobah.
Dude, you’re fan fictions are so amazing and well thought out! I hope that there will be more in the future. Anakin from the Clone Wars is my favorite character and I always wondered what Star Wars would be like if he had Qui-Gon around to help him through his struggles. I feel like if he had both Qui-Gon and Obi-wan, he wouldn’t have fallen to the dark side.
Is there any ending where both Qui Gon Jin and Obi Wan Kenobi survive? That is what I would want to see. Than you have two Masters teaching young Anakin Skywalker or Obi Wan could still be Anakin’s master, however Qui Gon would just be part of the Jedi Council and work with Mace and Yoda.
Good... until obi wan and maul came back. Why would Obi Wan be a sith now? How did they survive in the first place?? Plus Palpatine was careful to only keep one apprentice at a time.
his writing is shit really... I appreciate the effort but he has sooooooo little regard and sense for actual (and good) character development. Its just cheap drama really, and makes no sense regarding the characters that were already built before and in the movies
I understand that through his rage, Maul was able to keep himself alive. But how would Obiwan? And then if he survived, why join the dark side? Other than that I think this is brilliant!
Anakin initially moves to face Obi Wan, but Qui Gon puts his hand on his shoulder and says that this is his burden to bear. Maul moves in to strike then, but Anakin stops him and the two square off, while Obi Wan and Qui Gon slowly circle each other, Obi Wan growling, and Qui Gon Jinn peacefully retreating from his emotions. During the battle of the two Grandmasters and Sidious, the window shatters and Yoda forces the Dark Lord through, before they leap after him, to pursue the fight in mid-fall. Maul and Anakin's fight intensifies, without the clashing blades of the masters taking up most of the space in the room. Finally, Obi Wan attacks, and Qui Gon meets his blade. The two seem evenly matched until Obi Wan realizes that his old master is holding back. He's only defending, rarely striking back, and never aggressively. This fills him with rage, which he uses to get one good strike on the old Jedi, slicing through his arm. In pain, Qui Gon uses all of his skill and willpower to fend Obi Wan off as Anakin and Maul continue their fight. Maul is a fierce fighter, but Anakin is wise, and his strikes well-placed. During a lapse in the Sith's focus, Anakin force-pushes him right onto Obi Wan's blade, impaling him through the chest. The Zabrak collapses, and the distracted Obi Wan is beat back by Qui Gon until Anakin can take over. Qui Gon watches in case he needs to intervene, cradling the smoking stump where his hand once was. Anaking and Obi Wan lock blades, and Qui Gon takes advantage of the pause to speak with his old student. Obi Wan is filled with rage, but with Anakin keeping him back, his will begins to wane. Qui Gon's words begin to ring true, and Sidious's influence starts to wear off. But in a fit of stubbornness, he strikes at Anakin with violent flurry that knocks his lightsaber from his hand. Fortunately, there is an abundance of lightsabers nearby, and Anakin calls two of the fallen masters' sabers to his hands, while Obi Wan takes up Maul's. The debate continues as they fights, and Anakin successfully disarms Obi Wan of one of his sabers. Unable to keep up with the flurry of Anakin's two lightsabers, he attempts to throw the fight and die, rather than allow himself to lose the last of his will. Sensing is, Qui Gon holds Anakin's hand back with the Force, inches from his old student's neck. Obi Wan tenses, as if to capitalize on the chance, but ultimately sighs and lets his saber fall from his hand, clattering to the floor. He looks up at Qui Gon, his eyes red with tears, the yellow in his irises still intense. He begs to be killed, that he doesn't deserve life. Qui Gon sits across from him, to give his old student another lesson. Anakin, meanwhile, peers out of the balcony window... Sidious and the two Jedi Grandmasters are surrounded by a crater of destruction as the Dark Lord of the Sith rains shuttles and vehicles down from above, with Yoda and Mace unable to keep up with the bloodthirsty hail. Anakin leaps down to help, but the fall is a long one, and all he can do is watch helplessly as innocents are killed by the power-mad Sith. The three battle spectacularly, but it starts to become clear that they can't manage this the way they are doing things. Communicating wordlessly, Yoda takes up the task of countering Sidious's attacks, his immense power in the force slowing the falling debris while Windu finally manages to lock blades with the Dark Lord. Unable to focus on two fronts, Sidious unleashes a blast of kinetic energy, forcing Windu back, and showers the two with Force Lightning. It's all they can do to hold it back. But Anakin finally arrives, and catching the Sith by surprise, impales him on his blade with all the force of his thousand-meter fall, instantly killing him. He tumbles through the air and is saved by Yoda. Mace Windu smiles, and says that it appears Qui Gon was right about him after all.
Obi-wan needs a repent scene tho. With him vowing, under guidance from Qui-gon to Look out for Luke and to never allow him to make the same mistakes he, Obi-Wan-Kenobi did.
Obi wan-*falls down the shaft* Hello there Maul-Hah. That’s funny. Wanna get robot legs and try to do our own thing? Obi wan-Well they are broken, so sure.
I actually enjoyed this video although I don't agree with many of its "events". First of all the unknowingly death of Obi-Wan. If Maul that's severed in half was able to survive Obi-Wan through use of the Force would've survived quite easily. So he'd eventually contact Qui-Gon telling him he was alive. I do believe that even with Obi-Wan not dying Qui-Gon would've taken Anakin as his apprentice all the same. Also I don't believe Qui-Gon would've trained Anakin is the stricked ways of the Jedi. That was not Qui-Gon way. You got to remember that Qui-Gon was known for his habit of disoveying the Jedi Order. In fact that was why he didn't had a seat in the Jedi Council. Above all I believe he would've trained Anakin to fully open to the will of the Force, instead of the will of the Jedi Order. He would've trained Anakin to fully embrace the Force, and to not take anything for certain or granted. He would've taught Anakin patience. To grow in the Force wisely and not recklessly. He'd teach Anakin to be aware of the Dark Side but not afraid of it. To use caution instead of recklessly jumping into situations. Also I don't believe Qui-Gon would've allowed Anakin to maintain any sort of relationship with the Supreme Chanceler. Qui-Gon wasn't as blind or ignorant as many of the Council members obviously were. He knew of the corruption in the Senate. And he'd never allow Anakin to expose himself to that corruption. So respectably he'd ask Anakin to cut all ties with the Supreme Chanceler and I'm sure he'd have explained to Anakin why such was necessary. Also I don't necessarily believe that Anakin fighting style would've been any different. After all a fighting style is something very personal. Yes Qui-Gon could introduce first to his fighting style but for Anakin to reach his full potential as a Force user, Qui-Gon would at the same time, encourage Anakin to learn and master as many forms as possible, and to use the Force to the max of his potential. So if anything Anakin during the Clone Wars would've been Sidious target to take down. Sidious would know that Anakin would hardly if ever turn to the ways of the Sith. So the most probable course of action would be to try and kill Anakin so as not have to face him in the end. I believe Anakin would still have fallen in love with Padmé. But I don't believe they'd ever marry in secret. If anything he'd find in Qui-Gon the father, friend and confidant Obi-Wan never could be. He would share his feelings and concerns with his master, and seeing Qui-Gon personality, he'd most likely advise Anakin to keep the relationship always under control, but to only fully assume it, when he felt he was ready to face the consequences of being able to be with Padmé. After the Clone Wars and Sidious defeat, we might very well see Padmé and Anakin leaving together to Naboo. Anakin would still be a Jedi in heart, and he'd continue to explore the Force. But he would do it away from the Order. I seriously doubt Anakin even if he achieved his full potential and became a Jedi Master in his own right, that the Council once learning the truth of his desire to be with Padmé and marry her, that they'd allow him to remain in the Order. Which would be fine all the same. Even apart from the Order, Anakin could still learn and improve his knowledge. And who knows... Maybe in time, he'd start his own Jedi Order. One open to all that wished to learn about the Force. One that didn't removed children from their families. An Order more open, but still based on the principles of freedom, justice and order.
Hero Hour To eliminate future payback. Anakin sacrificed so much and achieved so little. He betrayed those that freed him. He killed kids. Almost choked his wife to death. All so in the end he never reached his full potential and lost all he desired to protect. After all those betrayals and murdering and still he's defeated by Obi-Wan. Proof that it takes more than simple anger, to become a Sith. To gain power. He believed himself already more powerful than Sidious and is defeated by Obi-Wan. The problem of being trained by Obi-Wan was that he didn't saw in Obi-Wan what he saw in Qui-Gon. In Qui-Gon he had a fatherly figure, and with Obi-Wan he got a older brother. Also Obi-Wan wasn't ready to train him. Obi-Wan was the one that was too rigid. The good Jedi, that followed all the rules. Qui-Gon on the other hand, he preferred to not have a place on the Council but be the Jedi he wanted to be, than to have that place and simply bury his head in the sand. Qui-Gon would never have approved of the Jedi fighting in the Clone Wars as generals. He already knew or at least he gave that feeling, that although he had to deal with politicians, he wasn't that much pleased with having to do so. Also he wasn't a ass kisser. If you remember his interactions with Padmé when she was Queen, he tolerated her at best, it was only through interaction and what they went through together that he began to see her in another way. Anakin needed someone that taught him how to think for himself, to acknowledge his potential but not have his head in the clouds. A master that he could fully trust and confide in. Anakin wasn't totally wrong when he said Obi-Wan held him back. Obi-Wan was not one to explore the limits of the Force. Something Qui-Gon obviously was, even after death. So a Anakin trained by Qui-Gon would've been someone completely different. But that Anakin would never have become Vader, nor would he be so stupid that Sidious tells him a story (a mix of truth and lies) and he simply falls for it, like a total idiot.
Maul says to Obi Wan, "He's mine." Pointing to Qui Gon. Obi Wan fights Anakin while Maul fights Qui Gon, and Yoda and Mace fight Palpatine. The duels are great, and Maul stabs Qui Gon through the chest, and Anakin in a moment of blind rage grabs Maul and Obi in force chokes and throws them against a wall, knocking out Maul and leaving Obi barely concious. With the other three still fighting furously in the other room, Obi Wan watches as Anakin cradles his master in his arms, and Qui Gon's final words to his apprentice are "there is still good in him, help him." Quin Gon dies, and Obi Wan, seeing Anakin crying over his master's body and feeling Anakin's grief makes Obi begin to have flashbacks of all the good times he and master Qui Gon had as master and apprentice, his time as a jedi, and his friends in the jedi order, and feeling Qui Gon's grief for him before blacking out on Naboo. It makes Obi Wan have a change of heart, and he rushes to go help Anakin and the others against Sidious. Giving a helping hand to Anakin, they go together to defeat Sidious with the others. Sidious, realizing he's outmatched, escapes through the broken window, and sets out towards Anakin's apartment. The four arrest Maul, but Kenobi must also be arrested for his crimes, but they allow him to be at Qui Gon's funeral, where Obi is then fully redeemed. Anakin then gets an alert from his apartment of a break in, where he contacts Padme to make sure she's alright but gets no response. Palpatine has kidnapped her and has taken her to Polis Massa to give birth to the twins. Palpatine begins a dark ritual to begin siphoning the life force out of Padme, but leaving the twins unharmed. This not only sends a ripple through the force, but Padme calls out to Anakin through their bond to save her and her twins. Anakin then receives a vision of what is happening, causing him to blackout in the middle of a meeting with the jedi council. When he comes to, they are all standing over him. He says. "Sidious, he's taken Padme to Polis Massa, he's going to kill her!" Yoda and Mace help Anakin up and they run to a ship and plot course for Polis Massa. Meanwhile, Maul escapes, and frees Obi Wan, but Obi Wan, having a change of heart, begins dueling Maul in the hangar. Defeating Maul, he raises his hands to the security guards to allow himself to be arrested, but Shaak Ti is with the guards, and says "I think he has earned a get out of jail card. Come Obi-Wan, to continue your training as a Jedi." On Polis Massa, Padme has just given birth to the twins Luke and Leia, and Sidious feels the presence of Anakin, Yoda, and Mace coming onto the asteroid. and he takes the twins and begins going towards his hangar, leaving doors open behind so as to not waste any time. Anakin, Yoda and Mace rush into the medical wing moments later, and before they can say a word, Padme points towards the open doors, unable to speak. Anakin augments his speed with the force and rushes through the hallways towards the hangar, barely hearing Mace yell "ANAKIN!" As Anakin rushes through the hangar door he is immediately blasted with a torrent of force lightning, and Sidious's ship begins taking off. Mace rushes through the door seconds later, and reaches out with the force to hold the ship. Sidious opens fire, and Mace has to put up a force wall to protect the two of them, but Sidious escapes. Helping Anakin to his feet, Anakin only manages to say "Padme," before he begins rushing back to the medical wing. Slowing as he approaches, he hears Padme saying over and over "He took them. He took them." Yoda replies "Took who." Anakin steps in, saying "Our children." Anakin holds Padme in his arms, making Master Yoda and Windu watch in sadness as she dies in his arms, losing both of their children, and for Anakin's hard life. Padme only barely manages to say Anakin, before she dies on the table. End of story.

I still love Obi Wan, but to think we can all agree that Qui Gon would have been a better teacher for Anakin.
Mabye. I dont think Anakin would be as good at lightsaber combat though. I could be wrong though.
Agreed, but I think my lightsaber color vould be purple, perfect for me, now an anti-hero.
Tough pill to swallow. I love Obi too, but you're right lol.
No qui gon was the teacher to train anakin because qui gon was as wise as Yoda. And i would say quigon was close to a true jedi in the force more than anything.

He was a rebellious student regardless the Jedi tried but he just fought them for everything.
didnt anakin say he saw obi-wan as a father before, though? i think the main difference is that under qui-gon, that wouldnt have been rebuffed
He still respected Obi-Wan but was rebellious by nature
If the council thought Anakin was such a risk why would they make him be the Padawan of Obi Wan? why not Yoda ,Windu or any other Jedi Master?
th-cam.com/video/4cJMjDCPSSg/w-d-xo.html
Because no one wanted anakin to get trained in the first place. Obi wan was literally the only person who was willing to train him.
Mark Pozsar there was no plot hole in that part if you actually watched the movie, it was Qui Gon's dying wish and that’s why Obi-wan trained Anakin.
No one else would take him as his padawan. Reason why obi did was because he made a promise to qui Gon Jinn

If Plo Koon had trained Anakin he would've also brought balance to the Force.

The one plot hole I find in this scenario, is this; Would Anakin really engage in a romantic relationship with Padme, having received the disciplinary training from Gin, and even if he did, wouldn't Gin be aware?
George K Qui Gon was in love with someone once too. I don't remember her name though
I think you have a point though, Jin would be much more of a cockblock. unless he was hookin up too, cuz he's that guy.
George K I believe like a father he would've been supportive about Anakin's feelings towards Padme since he was in love himself once
Exactly!
I think he would support it and guide it. Qui Gon did not only studied the light side of the force.
He studied the dark side to brimg back someone he loved. So he would understand Anakin and woyld probably be able to give better guidance to him than the whole jedi council combined.

Imagine dialogue between Anakin, Qui Gon, and Ashoka
You guys have to remember that the Obi Wan in this movie is still young and a learning padawan. He isn’t the old and wise Jedi Master we see in the 3rd movie. Therefore, it isn’t completely unrealistic that he makes the turn to the Dark Side, especially after spending time with Darth Maul where ever they ended up.
he would have probably killed Maul.
Anakin needed a father, not a brother. He had grown with only his mother, and had finally found not the father he wanted, but the father he needed
I agree, Qui-Gon would've done so much better with Anakin than Obi-Wan EVER did!

The answer to the title is simple, Anakin wouldn’t turn to the dark side
Yeap that also means that Darth Vader wouldn't exist either and Leia and Luke will grow up to be padawan as well.
Yes I agree And Qui Gon is the father figure Anakin Skywalker needed That's one of the reasons why I love Qui Gon Jinn
Here's an interesting idea for you to do: What if The Skywalker Twins were Swapped?
Carlisle the Cinephile You mean like Luke is a prince and Leia is a Jedi?
Samuel Yes. I'd like to hear about an alternate timeline where Luke was adopted by the Organas and Leia was raised on Tattooine by Owen and Beru/watched over by Obi-Wan.
That sounds like a good what if scenario, I wanna see a video about that too now!
In an interview, George Lucas said he was going to make Leia the hero of the story, but changed his mind because in 1977 the world was not ready for a female hero yet.
I don't think there will be much different, honestly
I can't help but feel you've only scratched the surface here, there is so much more to be explored with an idea like this~
Or even Qui Gon trying to reform the Jedi Order to make it less dogmatic.
masterdarklink1 I think Qui-Gon would've letted Anakin go to Tatooine to save his mother and like a father he also would've supported Anakin's feelings for Padme.
The Archangel Exactly! Qui-Gon would've been the one to prevent Anakin's turn to the dark side had he survived
Ummm huge plot hole: Count Dooku wouldn't have turned if Qui-Gon was alive
Pedro Gomes yah... he could have just said that sidious brought back maul in order to complete his training. Maul would then take dooku's place in the storyline.
Pedro Gomes yeah but count dooku probably would have said something about obi wan being killed
Pedro Gomes yeah but Obi wan died. In which case Dooku would betray the jedi order
It was not Qui-Gon Jinn that made him turn it was what the Jedi saw in the force when he turn the Jedi didn't know about Order 66 or the chancellor was a Sith Lord but Count Dooku saw that in the force
I think it would be the other side around

I agree. That was just weird.
Also saying Maul was a Zabrak.
Maul was a Zabrak?
Aaron Akins yes he is, along with his brother savage opress.
Obi-Wan may have failed as a teacher, but at least he had the high ground.
If Darth maul survived the fall without legs. Obi-wan can

The End.
I mainly focused on Qui Gon, Anakin, Obi Wan and Maul because people would want to know more about that
Sorry for bad spelling and punctuation i speed typed this
dstorm eightzerothree I would think instead palp would sense anakin's rage and power beforehand and while the two Jedi were distracted, he would attempt to escape with his quick movements. Anakin would try to chase him but be met with a strike of force lightning pushing him back, but he wouldn't take much damage. Palp would then have to abandon anakin and initiate order 66 or find another way to lure him towards the dark side
dstorm eightzerothree that should happen. Please,Star Wars Theory!
dstorm eightzerothree And Qui Gon says"I thought you were dead, and I'm sorry,Obi Wan!" and Obi Wan says "It's to late for SORRY!!!!!!!" as Obi Wan eyes glow a very Very bright fire red hot orange yellow.
dstorm eightzerothree As then, like you said(expect more extreme)Obi Wan is so furious he shots pure black force lightning at Qui Gon.But instead, stout Mace out so far, goes through 11 cars and the Jedi Temple, killing his in microseconds.Obi Wan then yells in pure hated with Ultra Powerful a black-ish red lightsaber and becomes the most powerful, hated full, revenge full site lord.Five times more powerful then Luke from the EU.
dstorm eightzerothree best one yet
I was always curious: What if Anakin never became jedi? How different would things be?
He will be normal.
Your wish is my command
There is a vid about that
He'd probably get picked up by Uncle palpy ans would still end up darth Vader
Okay. Obi-Wan being a sith in Anakin's place was unexpected and an awesome story point as well.
10:15 I thought darth Jar Jar was coming
I know, right? Perfect Darth Jar Jar moment.
i enjoyed this “what if” right up until maul and obi wan showed up.
I agree, maul wouldn’t show up as seen in clone wars, and Obi Wan wouldn’t even survive the fall, let alone turn to the dark side
I was very confused seeing as the ya how up in the very beginning
Dude, you’re fan fictions are so amazing and well thought out!
I hope that there will be more in the future.
Anakin from the Clone Wars is my favorite character and I always wondered what Star Wars would be like if he had Qui-Gon around to help him through his struggles.
I feel like if he had both Qui-Gon and Obi-wan, he wouldn’t have fallen to the dark side.
It was good until the end. Kinda lost me there
XxGH0sTXCarnage I agree
XxGH0sTXCarnage yeah the end was awful. There was no reason to think that would happen
aye
i have to agree too, obi wan turning? not likely
Ya I agree obi wan would have been too set in the ways of the Jedi to have switched
Obi-Wan wasn't the perfect master but come on, he would never turn to the dark side, his life was the jedi order and the jedi way
Is there any ending where both Qui Gon Jin and Obi Wan Kenobi survive? That is what I would want to see. Than you have two Masters teaching young Anakin Skywalker or Obi Wan could still be Anakin’s master, however Qui Gon would just be part of the Jedi Council and work with Mace and Yoda.
Well that escalated quickly wasn't expecting that lol. Imagine if they did a What If version for the Star Wars universe lol
I still find "sith Obi Wan" jarring and not believable at all lol. Definitely on the less likely end of possibility.
these alternate universe story's are a lot of fun, good job
Good... until obi wan and maul came back. Why would Obi Wan be a sith now? How did they survive in the first place?? Plus Palpatine was careful to only keep one apprentice at a time.
Matthew Langsdale ye in the darth maul actually did survive it so obi wan could to
Darth Maul only survived because of pure hatred. I can't see Obi Wan using that same technique to keep himself alive.
Obi Wan wasnt cut in half.
his writing is shit really... I appreciate the effort but he has sooooooo little regard and sense for actual (and good) character development. Its just cheap drama really, and makes no sense regarding the characters that were already built before and in the movies
the same way darth muale survived in the clone wars
I just imagine both Obi Wan and Maul just down in the pit like "Well shit."
Zalty the is exactly how it should go but it still needs a bit more to the story like what would happen to obi wan then
Obi-wan needs a repent scene tho. With him vowing, under guidance from Qui-gon to Look out for Luke and to never allow him to make the same mistakes he, Obi-Wan-Kenobi did.
Zalty this is my FAVORITE! I hope he does something similar!
Zalty that was amazing
Zalty well expain
Plot twist obi wan actually survived and when he returned he taught qui gon the strategy that only gods can learn
The high ground
Dudles hahahahahha
Obi Wan, Anakin, and Qui Gon all became proficient in The High Ground
After losing it himself
Dudles ok
Rised from the death at 7th day
Star Wars theory your skits are awesome but could u make a what if mace windu killed the emperor
That would be so cool
Barrett the Best yeahhh
Barrett the Best good idea!
Yeah then mace gets a complex and him and anakin fight over who is the true chosen one
Just made it, go check it out, thanks for the suggestion man!
Obi wan-*falls down the shaft* Hello there
Maul-Hah.
An Order more open, but still based on the principles of freedom, justice and order.
why did Anakin kill so many Jedi?
Hero Hour
To eliminate future payback.
GreyDraic I think that is a far more likely outcome than this video.
How about we make a video retelling the story with this in mind?
GreyDraic holy shit long ass comment
If Anakin had been trained by Jinn, he wouldn't have done the whole love thing with Padme...
Qui Gon would never be turned. He wasn't as ignorant as the other Jedi, who feared the dark side. Qui Gon studied both, and he chose the light.
What? Jinn was known to disagree and at times defy the council. If anything, I feel like he would've been more likely to pursue her.
Actually I think he STILL would have! Anakin would've just trusted only QUI-GON with his secret marriage to Padme.
If qui gon stomped out all of anakins lust, greed, and impatience would he ever have been with padme?
Yes he would be single
I think the love would have at the very least been more pure-hearted and not tainted with the demons of his past.
@@mikeexits I agree
3:39 Wow, plo koon has a huge lightsaber.
NOOOOOO!!!! NOT DARTH KENOBI!!!!! 😭😭😭😭
Pikachufps3 hello there
I
Hello there
*Grivus*Obi wan Kenobi
Obi wan Kenobi General kenobi!
Damn, part 2 came out, oh well.
Every thing was fine... and then there’s the ending and now I’m confused
This was awesome and felt organic to the story and characters. This feels more canon than anything that Disney puts on the big screen.
Did you just kill my favorite character?
And then make him a sith. 😭😭😭😭
those legit animations from 9:06 onwards
Tom Fraser Wait, that was animated? I didn't notice.
SO MONTAGE
SO QUALITY
SO AMAZING
DO PART TWO
PLEASE
hmm
SO WOW.
(Sorry I couldn't resist.)
This is a bigger plot twist than episode 5 xD
kenobi twist at the end ruined it for me. It just made me laugh
