Luke’s mixed feelings about Qui-Gon show how complicated being a Jedi really is. Qui-Gon was a bit of a rebel, going against the Council, while Luke had his own doubts about the Jedi. It’s awesome to see how their different paths shaped their views on the Force!
Qui Gon has a very particular set of skills. Skills he has acquired over a very long career and he is going to find Luke Skywalker. And you know what will happen next.
Qui-Gon Jinn was a jedi ahead of his time. Luke Skywalker was the jedi that the Old Republic needed. Both were jedi that knew the old jedi were dated. This is why Qui-Gon never joined the Council. His views were seen as defiant, but his views were progressive. Qui-Gon and Luke were arguably the greatest jedi ever.
@SkinnyEatWorld95 This is why Luke rebuilt the New Jedi Order. He knew the Old Republic jedi ways were flawed. Qui-Gon was simply a great jedi in the wrong era. His way of thinking was exactly what the council should have been. Primarily, when it came to Anakin. When I read about Luke in the EU, I see Qui-Gon essence in him.
Maaaan Imagining the conversation between Luke, Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Anakin. Just throwing four of them in thr Force Netherworld chilling and discussing the Force and Jedi philosophy. I'd watch a 3hr movie of that.
I love Luke so much, I’m begging the universe to make it that TLJ was a Luke clone and real Luke will come back and perform the Grand Master role he was always meant to.
Originally in Legends or George Lucas' canon Luke's kyber crystal was synthetic forged by meditation because normal kyber in one of the continuity it became very hard to come by(since the normal kyber crystal found on icy worlds his been "taken"), and his father switched to a natural red crystal(not bleed, and how he gets that is rare).
Luke can also be considered Qui'Gon's uncle, since he was taught directly by Yoda and Qui'Gon was taught by Yoda's disciple Dooku, Qui'Gon at the same time taught Obi-Wan who was Luke's first master, and who also was his father's second master, and similarly Qui'Gon was meant to be Luke's father's first master, which means this is one weird Ouroboros song.
Forever my life is indebted to these halls of long lost ancient knowledge of all aspects concerning the enigma that is the force. Forever I am grateful to the grand archivist who built these walls for knowledge that most spend entire life spans in search for, to be at the tip of my fingers fresh from the machinations and ambition of those who have come before me. I implore those who see this entry to seek the hidden truths behind these walls…May the force be with you.
If I could see anything happen in star wars it would be to see how Qui-Gon would have reacted to how grand master Luke ran his order and what Qui-Gon would think of it.
I was just watching star wars return of the jedi good one a classic one to remember I was watching it on my ps3 early around 3 pm today. I just click on this video just now as a star wars fan, i think return of the jedi is one of the greatest star wars movie of it's time still a good one I must say I've seen 6 times I am still a fan of it tho and the rest star wars movies too.
I personally think a Hella lot more on the Grey while I know the dark side is there I don't need it rather I exist with it and do not deny it I simply choose to align with the light
I must say. qui-gun Jinn Was surely even much more powerful and stronger. Than any other Jedi that I know he should have been Grandmaster. He was the best great. / good Jedi that we know and he's Irreplaceable. He is.
Now I’m somewhat curious, what a more advanced Star Wars look like and the ideals of that time? Of course they’re still advanced but I mean more so what their “modern day” would look like. With talk about the ideologies in their time and how they want to shape the future of Jedi it makes me curious of that future.
Luke Skywalker, Ahsoka, Anakin Skywalker, Oui Gon Jinn, in a few other Jedi what better Jedis than Mace Windu Yoda and others of the council and of the order were too blinded and dogmatic conclusion Lee they were too straight-laced it and that's what got them destroyed if they were more like Qui-Gon and Luke maybe their order would have a better chance of surviving order 66
Legends Luke LAUGHS at "Jake"from the sequels 😂👏🏾 Jake : "what, you want me to cut more bad guys with my Lazer sword??" Legends of Luke ; " actually yeah, if people are in trouble, that's sounds like a GREAT idea 😎🗡️"

*Luke meditating*
*Qui-Gon’s Force Ghost munching on snacks in the background*
*”WILL YOU STOP THAT?!”* -Luke Skywalker
"Luke, you seem upset, have a Snickers" - Qui-Gon, probably
Someone has been watching Charlie Hopkinson.
Stop what I'm just sitting here or do you mean how I got in last night? Look the door was locked and I didn't wanna wake you up so I just...bzzzt

Liam Neeson is an amazing actor

Of that I have no doubt. I hold them in the same high regard as Revan. They were what the Order should have been.

@@HellfireClub242 Exactly, Luke took it upon himself to rebuild the Order and he made it the way it should have been all along.
@SkinnyEatWorld95 If only Disney gave us Expanded Universe Luke Skywalker 😔
@@HellfireClub242 Yeah man, I wish they'd pull their heads outta their asses and give the fandom what we want and deserve.
Love this channel! I respect all that you do! Long live!
Thanks, I appreciate it!

I'd watch a 3hr movie of that.
Man I love the way homeboys speaks and explains in his videos. Makes you feel like your in a different time or something
Thanks man. Appreciate that
Qui Gon and Luke are held in the same high regard as Revan to me. They were good Jedi.
Revan was a fool.
@@IAmGodHimself777 That's like your opinion man😂
@@IAmGodHimself777 And very odd choice of words for someone calling themself "god"😂
Never would have known Qui-gon would be like a lone wolf 🐺. To Luke’s perspective.
Eating a burger on my break and watching this❤
I love your channel. You have honored Qui-Gon well. Your knowledge of the EU is legend.
Good soldiers watch early
As do all who trust in the force 🙏🏾
Absolutely ❤
That's one way to twist that line. Definitely prefer it to the original.
🫡🫡🫡🫡
Wow we got some really cool soldiers here today 😁🫡
Oh man absolutely love this video
Qui Gonns crystal being Luke’s with Luke using his philosophy to rebuild a greater Jedi order is beautifully poetic
Quigon and Luke are my favorite Jedi. I do recognize how various Jedi pretty cool, too.
I always figured Luke thought Qui gon Jinn was close to how a Jedi should be
I love Luke so much, I’m begging the universe to make it that TLJ was a Luke clone and real Luke will come back and perform the Grand Master role he was always meant to.
Its better to just ignore all the Disney crap and pretend it never existed. Only the Expanded Universe exists after ROTJ.
I see Qui-Gon or Obi-Wan, I click
I walk the path of the Bendu
While the Jedi were afraid of attachments, they did have an attachment to the Republic that ultimately corrupted them.
they are not afraid of attachments; it is obsession they despised. Look how Obsession destroy Anakin and thus destroy both the Jedi and Republic
😅
That makes it sound like Luke is a huge fan.
I thought Qui-Gon thought that attachments weren't a bad thing, as long as they weren't/didn't become possessive.
that is why Jedi advised caution because Possession leads to Obsession and Obsession is self destructive
Let’s goooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!❤
Luke can also be considered Qui'Gon's uncle, since he was taught directly by Yoda and Qui'Gon was taught by Yoda's disciple Dooku, Qui'Gon at the same time taught Obi-Wan who was Luke's first master, and who also was his father's second master, and similarly Qui'Gon was meant to be Luke's father's first master, which means this is one weird Ouroboros song.
I wonder what Legends Luke thought of Dooku.
In legends, Luke viewed Dooku as a tragic person.
Chef’s kiss

Luke wouldn't exist without Qui-Gon. He should be more grateful.
Pinnacle of the force these characters are ❤

What if quigon was reborn with his memories the day before the first death star was destroyed and was trained by Luke
If you become one with the force after death then why are there hundreds of conveniently recognizable force ghosts giving warnings & advice?
I don't remember Qui-Gon ever trying to kill Obi-Wan because he had a bad dream.
The real Luke never did that.
That event is not canon in my mind.
The video is about Luke, not Jake
I agree that it wasn't Luke, but the joke was good
Dropped your crown king
Not saving Anakins mum was the biggest mistake they ever made
Because Luke is usseles , Mark hamil little angry goblin
So there's Grand Masters now?
I kind of Wonder did Luke have mixed feelings about Mace Windu
I hate how Disney Luke kept the anti attachment tradition. He’s such a far cry from the warmth and fun of EU Luke.

Awesome video!🤘
Keep up the awesome work!🤘😎🤘
Eu is some of the best star wars out there
Day 704 of asking for a part 3 of what if anakin was trained by qui gon
The knights of the old republic says different things about the color of lightsabers especially green ones you should reevaluate this argument
Legends Luke is the ONLY Luke. Period.
Legends Luke LAUGHS at "Jake"from the sequels 😂👏🏾
Jake : "what, you want me to cut more bad guys with my Lazer sword??"
Legends of Luke ; " actually yeah, if people are in trouble, that's sounds like a GREAT idea 😎🗡️"
Is this Legends Luke Skywalker or Jake Skywalker?
What’s with Jake skywalker I don’t get it?
Disney has jake soywalker training grogu
Makes me hate Disney even more for how they butchered Luke's character.
13:01 who’s this character? 🤔
Just some schmuck. I don't believe in the Disney Heresy and neither should anyone else.
The mouse canon Luke, not even the original Grandmaster Luke.
NNNNNNOOOOOOO
Both Jedi Masters actually wanted the same thing: for Anakin to realize who he truly is.
