To bad I think it was the last big war on Kharak, after that the northern kiiths build the Kushan Mothership for 60 years and the Gaalsians were only mentioned as petty terrorist trying to disturb the construction in the Homeworld lore.
Maybe we could see one such game set further in the future. For example we know the kushan had to fight some taiidan resistance on hiigaraa after the emperor's death. Plus we would get to see the homeworld up close
I don't think there's room for another game like DoK in the storyline without a significant retcon. What might be interesting is if they did some other kind of game that explored Kushan society closer in. Maybe a Stealth RTT (Desperadoes, Shadow Tactics, Commandos, etc), or Turn Based Tactics game (Like the combat portions of X-Com) with a storyline related to Gaalsien spies and terrorists infiltrating the Coalition to sabotage the space program and maybe some low level inter-kiithid conflict within the Coalition. It's still a game where you control multiple units in combat (so it's not completely divorced from the other Homeworld games mechanically), but the different scale gives you a chance to see a different part of the setting (Homeworld: Cities of Kharak). I'd say either put it after or parallel to DoK to give some insight into the attacks the Gaalsien made on the north and the response to the Siidim betrayal of the Coalition. A game like that would be a great opportunity to explore Kiith Manaan more.
@@corvusonis7974 Yeah when the Naabals kicked the Gaalsians asses, the only issue is the Naabals had firearms and steam engines machines and against Gaalsian with swords and sails sandships at best, idk if the devs will want to do something other than vehicle combat since it is getting father away from the Homeworld style. But I would love playing the Naabal for once if they want to do it.
@@fillianplays coalition is the strong power carrier faction however the gaalsien is able to run away and repair. gaal also has very high dps units compared to coal but there units cost a lot more. BTW if you want true max power get 8 artifacts gaining you an addition 16 power.
Someone made the same comment on the previous video. TH-cam takes up to 24hrs before they process the video in HD. The video is 4k but might take a while longer before the option is available. I might need to start scheduling videos to release a day or so after upload rather than going live immediately to avoid confusion.
I want a sequel to this awesome setting game

@@lapintueur4799 but there was big war before. It can be prequel with more factions.

A good game never too old.
I'm guessing the heavily filtered voices is due to all crew members wearing full body suits and masks like Kagan basically like Fremen Stillsuits
@@brothersgt.grauwolff6716 Pretty much,
Really nice editing, great video...
YESSSSSSSS!
Absolutely LOVE the gaalsien designs
My favorite faction aesthetically, but I find so much harder to play.
I feel like the carrier's weapons & capabilities are the highlight of the Gaalsein.

Gaalsien harvester looks exactly like Hiigaran resource collector
I believe that's because the Hiigaran / Kushan are technically composed of all the factions on Kharak.
Even though the Carrier looks cool, I still hate it that they put the hangar in front of it instead on top.
You mean like the K'had Sajuuk Super Carrier in the campaign? There might be a model replacer mod out there for it.
5:52 so you like the Gaalsien murdercarrier?
There's just something about a line of CIWS tracers cutting through the darkness.
Could somebody mod this so that instead of the carrier that we have for the campaign we could use hovering one? With all the cool advanced technology
are there vehicles mostly drone operated
Sajuuk akbar! insha'Sajuuk!
Song name pls
"Shipbreakers" Cut from the game I believe but you can still find it in the game files.
Wish dev supported this game, no new maps or units. at LEAST give us new multiplayer maps or teh tools to make them.
In a dark map with units almost the same color as the sand?? C'mon, man...
only 360p? is this a mistake???

Классное видео и игра тоже потрясающая, но музыка громкая. Иногда интереснее слышать эффекты в игре и звуки стрельбы.
Good feedback. Thank you!
