Homeworld Deserts of Kharak - Khaaneph Faction - Vehicle Showcase

Back in 1999 when other kids were making Lego Star Wars models, I was busy making my own Lego Homeworld ships. 22 years later I am still very much in love with some of the designs. In hot anticipation for Homeworld 3, I thought I might share a glimpse into the art style & attack animations of Homeworld's OG faction ships for those unfamiliar with the series. I will do videos for the Hiigaran, Vagyr, Taidan & Kushan as well as Deserts of Kharak vehicles.

I quite like the rusty look on these guys, but sadly they're using the hovers.
Imho, the best faction would be the ones using both hovers AND normal wheels/tracks. On lighter vehicles those would be an equivalent to (emergency) landing gear and on massive ones like carrier it would explain how it moves ie hover isn't there to lift carrier, it's there to reduce ground pressure to the point it can move on tracks. It would also help explain why some vehicles like heavy railguns have weird "tripod" track arrangement as if they were a self propelled gun mount like soviet BE-4(technically they are exactly that, but it's not very useful).

I'm sure there is a way to do that but I'm not 100% sure how you'd isolate the AI resource values.

I suppose you could calculate how many resources the AI would have at different times and isolate the values that way but I'm not sure if the game gives AI different resource values based on their difficulty etc. I'll try it and find out. Curious now.
