I’ve been contemplating as to whether or not to purchase the same canopy as you have, it is the cost that was putting me off. Having seen your original video and this one I will be getting one. Cheers, Mike
We had TWO Kampa 330 explode on us after just a couple season summer only infrequent use - around 10 weeks over the year. Inner bag exploded ripping both the bag shroud and splitting the awning canvas beyond repair. Got no sense from Kampa when I explained 9 psi is too high with higher ambient temperature. (Boyles Law (?) pressure will rise in proportion to ambient temperature where volume remains constant.) Kampa tech didn't appear to understand this and were unable to advise on pressure testing and rating. I now never exceed 7 psi unless it is extremely cold ambient temperature. Only advice from Kampa was to fit their sunshade over the inflated awning to protect it from the sun!
A year late, but we just bought this based on your review and others of course, just wanted to thank you for putting this up. Now I am having to chase around for the side panels as they are out of stock at Dometic, can confirm the gauge does not work, will be using my double pump that I already have, pumps on the up and downward stroke and can suck the air out too. Did you do a video on repacking it and getting the air out and fitting in the bag with the pump as it came? 🤣 Oh and thks for the twisted strap tip, 25+ years of awning swearing and hadn't twigged that one.
It's a bugger to get back in the bag since Dometic stopped providing over sized bags. You don't need a gauge, just touch stiff and leave room for air expansion in the summer. I'll do a folding video when I take it off a Brighton in four weeks. Ours held up brilliantly in france in rain, wind, and 35C. 10 minutes to get up now and 20 to put away.

Yes, under inflation is really important when it's hot. 👍

We have the same canopy and we are also looking for a carpet that fits.Have you had any luck finding one? Cheers.
Hi there. We bought a Dometic Continental cushioned carpet. 400 X 250. It'll be in the next video later this week. Thank you for asking.
