    Good video. I’m really happy with the solid-ness of this machine (though assembly instrux were not good) but getting on it once together felt great. Can feel cardio. However feel I’m really burning out my quads vs feeling it so much in glutes. Any tips on how to focus or move so I’m letting quads share more muscle work with glutes?

    • @SunnyHealthFitness
      @SunnyHealthFitness  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      First, be sure to plant your mid-foot on the pedal, and drive your energy through your heels as you extend from your squat. Second, sit back with your hips, pushing your glutes back as you squat, this will put more emphasis on the glutes and hamstrings.

    • @SunnyHealthFitness
      @SunnyHealthFitness  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Both pieces of equipment offer total-body training that helps you burn significant calories while developing the muscles in your lower body, upper body, and core. The Row-N-Ride was developed to help users achieve good squat form in order to train the hips and thighs. The addition of the rowing handle offers a unique upper body training experience as you squat. The three attachable resistance bands ensure you can progress with your workouts as you get stronger and your endurance improves. Row machines are excellent for building a strong cardiovascular system while building muscular endurance throughout the whole body. Once you have mastered the rowing stroke, you can push yourself to maximum cardiovascular efforts, making the rowing machine a better choice for calorie burning. If your focus is more on muscular development, then the Row-N-Ride would be a better choice.

      It's common to experience muscle soreness after working out on your Row-N-Ride but not pain. If you're experiencing pain we recommend stopping immediately and consulting your doctor. If you're experiencing regular muscle soreness, we recommend resting 2 days between exercise or longer to give your muscles time to recover before working them again.

    Hi. Could you please give me recommendations where the seat and hand bar adjustments should be for a 5'5ft woman. I just received my machine the day after Labor Day and I'm ready to do a complete workout, but I just can't get the adjustments right. Thanks in advanced.

    • @SunnyHealthFitness
      @SunnyHealthFitness  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Tonya! Due to leg and arm length differing between heights, there isn't one specific handlebar and seat adjustment we can recommend. It may take some testing and adjusting to get it right for you. In general we recommend that the handlebar be comfortable to reach with arms fully extended at the bottom of your squat, and should not be holding back your squat depth. The seat should be long enough so that you aren't falling off the back when down in a squat, but close enough so you feel supported when you extend to standing. For more pointers, be sure to check out our guide for proper form when using the Row-n-Ride:

    What do you guys think of this? What does it specifically train? My first. Impression is it's for abs. Does it hurt the knees ?

    • @SunnyHealthFitness
      @SunnyHealthFitness  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Row-N-Ride was designed to give users the ability to burn calories and help develop the muscles of the hips, back, arms, shoulders, and core. When using the resistance bands, you can perform smooth squat and row repetitions to help stimulate muscle growth and endurance depending on your current fitness level. If stimulating muscle growth is the goal, users should perform slow and controlled reps with the resistance bands. If 1-3 resistance bands are too difficult, start with no resistance bands. We recommend starting with 2 sets of 15 reps using a slow tempo (5 seconds down: 2 seconds up). If that becomes too easy, then you can add additional sets while reducing the number of reps to 10-12. Working out in this way will cause your heart rate to increase which will increase calories burned during workouts. Follow along with some of our great Row-N-Ride workouts on our TH-cam channel, if you need more instruction.

    • @SunnyHealthFitness
      @SunnyHealthFitness  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This machine is also designed to open up range of motion, relieving pressure to make it easier on the knees than traditional squatting. However, we always recommend consulting your doctor before beginning a new exercise program.

      Since everyone's metabolism is different, the best way to estimate your calories burned is to use the metabolic equivalent equation. We estimate that the MET value of your workout will be between 6-8. Using this value you can use the following equation to determine your estimated calories burned. Total calories burned = Duration (in minutes)*(MET*3.5*weight in kg)/200. For real-time calorie tracking, you could use an activity tracker like our Smart Fit Watch.

    Hi, i'm planning to buy this machine. But I have few questions: 1) In the video No. 077 it's shown folded dimensions: 4.5"L vs in web page specifications says 9.5"L. The L of my bed is 6.5", and I need to know if, once folded, I can store it under my bed.2) my goal is to find a machine to workout my legs (specifically my glutes) but I don't want to increase the size of glutes nor the size of my hips (I just wanted to have my legs + gl toned not bulky 3) which machine it's better to tone the legs Row-n-ride No.077 or Rowing machine SF-RW1205. Thanks for your time in advance

    • @SunnyHealthFitness
      @SunnyHealthFitness  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      These are both great machines but the NO. 077 Row-N-Ride is definitely better for toning and tightening the glutes and thighs, while the SF-RW1205 is going to be more cardio-based. We're so sorry for the confusion regarding the folded dimensions and will forward this to our team. Please note the folded dimensions are 9.5L x 19W x 56H in inches. Thank you!

There are all kinds of rows you can do on this machine - from overhand grip rows, wide grip rows, and underhand grip rows. What's the best way to get legs bigger by using this?

    • @SunnyHealthFitness
      @SunnyHealthFitness  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Best way to increase muscle mass is lifting lower rep ranges, with heavier weight. Sets to 8-15 reps with a resistance of 2 or 3. To increase difficulty try different exercises such as pistol squats, or deadlifts off the machine (using the seat as your weight). We have a workout for this coming out soon so stay tuned!

    How many calories does this work out burn

    • @SunnyHealthFitness
      @SunnyHealthFitness  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      To target the glutes and hamstrings more throughout your squat, we recommend sitting back with your hips to push your glutes back as you squat which will make you squat more focused on the hamstrings and glutes. Also be sure to squeeze your glutes as you extend from your squat as hip extension is where you'll get the highest glute activation.

    Do u loose weight or tone?

    • @SunnyHealthFitness
      @SunnyHealthFitness  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, definitely! The Row-n-Ride is great for burning calories, when paired with a balanced diet it can help with weight loss, which can contribute to loss of fat in the belly and chest. However, you can't spot reduce when it comes to fat loss, and everyone's bodies work differently, so you may lose fat from other areas of your body first.

    Does this hurt your knees?

    • @SunnyHealthFitness
      @SunnyHealthFitness  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Along with proper posture, it is important to ensure that the foot pedals are not positioned too far forward beneath your shoes. We recommend moving the pedals to a position around the mid foot for optimal stability and muscle recruitment during each rep. The knees should stay inline with the toes and hips during each rep to help reduce knee discomfort associated with improper knee alignment. Be careful not to let the knees fall inward or get pushed out. For more pointers, be sure to check out our guide for proper form when using the Row-n-Ride:

      Thank you for the reply. This machine is a squatting machine. Correct posturing is important. If this machine is used every day, squatting 200 times, the questions remains. Will your knees hurt?

    • @SunnyHealthFitness
      @SunnyHealthFitness  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi @@BonSnow ! With proper form, you shouldn't experience knee pain. We recommend resting 48 hours between exercising muscle groups to allow full muscle recovery and avoid overtraining. If you experience knee pain when squatting we recommend consulting your doctor before continuing your exercise program.
