@@SnakeRoadComicsOfficial3677 I don't think that's the case. Personally I don't like the Idea of Rey being a chosen one, but It's not a bad theory. There's nothing in the prophecy that says there's only one Chosen one forever.
I wonder to what extent young Palpatine studied or enjoyed music. As revealed in "Revenge of the Sith", the only redeeming feature I could ever find in Palpatine is that as emperor of the galaxy, he did support the arts. He built the Galactic Opera House and apparently enjoyed music and his box at the opera.
Maybe one reason ist that his son could not use the force. I don't know wether he could but if he couldn't Palpatine would have had a reason to kill him because he was disappointing. People often copy the behavior of their parents even if they think it's wrong
I wonder if he felt any love at all for the woman who gave birth to his son. Or was she just used to carry on the Palpatine name and legacy? I suspect the latter.
@@lindacartwright5100 his son may have been a young clone of himself, similar to the Jango and Boba Fett scenario but in Palpatines case his son was either non or minimally force sensitive or simply had a great dislike of his father
It's hard to say who's the strongest Sith would be. Sidious is certainly the most successful. He was able to complete the vision of Darth Bane as if it were his own.
Disney should do a one season show called Palpatine that covers his childhood, how he developed his connection to the Force and ultimately became a Sith.
It would be cool if Disney+ created a show about young Palpatine and his rise to power. The political rise of Palpatine could be similar to Frank Underwood in House of Cards, while the training under Plagueis could be like Bruce Wayne training with Ra's al Ghul in Batman Begins.
Palpatine still used sheev in the early prequel era. He said that as his name to a young boy, Gallius Rax, if memory serves. On jakku when researching for his contingency plan. This was shown as a flashback in one of the aftermath books
This is pretty cool and dark. Can imagine everything.Movie about him would be awesome.Sidious is the most powerful Sith ever.No doubt. It was his destiny. He was born to become a Sith, and the Emperor. May the Force be with you too
PALPATINE, something about it sounds best! He was much more than a Sith. He was a mastermind. The Phantom Menace. Took out all the Jedi, right under their noses too. Vader threw him overboard, and he still came back. Can’t help it, I like the guy!
I think it's incredibly satisfying that directly after watching Episode III, I suggested that Palpatine was the apprentice who killed his Sith Master (Darth Plagueis The Wise). And so many people online disagreed with me and criticized my perception. And now we know that I was 100% correct.
It would have been good if we had more imagery from Palpatine's youth rather than repeated scenes from the Star Wars prequel films, to accompany the detailed narration. Also - it is not explained why Palpatine's features changed so much following the fight with Mace Windu and the other Jedi Knights.
If so many sith lords finally fell to the dark side by their family being killed or killing their family, maybe the jedi had a point by teling jedi not to have a family in the first place
The biggest question is actually how he managed to not be found by the jedi at a very young age. For Anakin this makes sense, he lived on Tatooine, a rather remote place. Palpatine was from Naboo, part of the republic with senators and all the rest. As we know, the blood of all young children in the republic is collected and tested, how tf did he fall through that?
We know that he had interest in things of the Sith AND he is a very deceiving man. He probably used his father's blood or some other things to dodge the Jedi recruiting and was able to hide behind his shadow in the force so nobody knew he had force.
Palpatine is probably the second most powerful ever, since he mastered sith sorcery and various other highly advanced powers as well as bring their plan to ultimate success, however we have no record of him doing things on the she scale of his main competition for best sith and we have no idea if he even knew how to force drain an entire world. Vitiate has to be first, the guy spent more than a thousand years dominating half the Galaxy and was only truly defeated when the extremely unlikely alliance of Jedi and his own sith underlings happened.
If they ever turned the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise into a movie, I would make the perfect Sheev Palpatine. I have the height, the personality and the look to pull it off effortlessly. Not to mention I nail the Sidious voice
I wouldn't mind a film based on a younger Sheev Palpatine or a Disney+ t.v series. We could see all the back story about him growing up, dislike for his family, rising up the political ranks & meeting Plagueis & turning to the dark side then killing his master.
Since the Rose of Skywalker my interest is reduced. I can't help picture him as the male Mary Sue. He would have been as OP as Rey from day 1 by Disney logic. Which is just dumb.
I see how everyone saying how they want a Palpatine spin off movie about his origin and while that would be pretty cool we have to remember that by the end of the day Palpatine did had a spin off movie. It called "The whole Damm franchise".
Who was the guy that padme dated? She talks about him in attack of the clones to Anakin. You'll notice there isn't a wookiepedia entry about him. What if he is palpatine?
@Leewilldofine Pedro. P. Palpatine. p. That's about as much as anyone ever had with a Rey theory. they better have this in the high republic movies or I'll throw a fit!
It's hard to say who was the strongest Sith because of the Rule of 2. It would never allow multiple Sith to exist in their prime alongside each other. So who was the best fighter among them? How would Palpatine rate up against those others? It's hard to say; he did fight Yoda to a standstill, so that is something. You can make the argument that Palpatine achieved the most, and being unable to be sensed by force users made this possible for him to hide in plain sight. He nearly killed the entire Jedi Order through his manipulation and backdoor dealings, and I don't recall any of the other Sith greats ever getting that close, primarily single handily. So who is the best, probably him. But if you put all the best Sith in a room to have them fight it out. How would he compare in that situation? He would most likely not win but he would go down first. See, it's Weird-the Best but only kind of.
Again, great video. Just one thing though. Can you please place in the title what is canon or legends? Sometimes it's difficult to know in your video's.
Not exactly the story I recall from the Plagueis novel. He seemed far more hesitant and humanized as a child, and not so eager to kill his parents, although Plagueis ended up using that as leverage against him. Was some of the source from comics...?
That’s just the Palpatine “fanboys” trying to twist the story around. They feel like it somehow diminishes him as a villain if he’s humanized and not “pure evil” from the start. I deal with them all the time and their dumb leaps in logic.
@@grimlord3181 Ian has confirmed on multiple occasions that Palpatine cares about Anakin, therefore he doesn’t view him as pure evil. “There is a moment-just one moment,” McDiarmid remembers, “It’s after Anakin’s been almost destroyed and he’s got little life in him. He was in the movie.
At TROS Sidious says to Kylo that he had died before.
Anakin says to Rey to bring again balance in the Force like he once did. So,Anakin did kill Sidious and brought balance to the Force for some time after ROTJ.
I believe that the force must require balence every various years and requires a chosen one to do so. Anakin was the first and Rey is the second and no doubt another will rise when the force requires balence again
Exactly. Balance; Powerful Light and Powerful Darkness.(Luke)
Darkness rises and Light to meet it.(Snoke)
@@SnakeRoadComicsOfficial3677 I don't think that's the case. Personally I don't like the Idea of Rey being a chosen one, but It's not a bad theory. There's nothing in the prophecy that says there's only one Chosen one forever.
I wonder to what extent young Palpatine studied or enjoyed music. As revealed in "Revenge of the Sith", the only redeeming feature I could ever find in Palpatine is that as emperor of the galaxy, he did support the arts. He built the Galactic Opera House and apparently enjoyed music and his box at the opera.
This makes it even less surprising he had Rey's parents killed. He hated the idea of family at that point.
Maybe one reason ist that his son could not use the force. I don't know wether he could but if he couldn't Palpatine would have had a reason to kill him because he was disappointing. People often copy the behavior of their parents even if they think it's wrong
Family, an love for them, is a weakness, an a distraction from a Sith's ultimate goal.
What I wanna know is how he even had a son in the first place. Who did he get with
I wonder if he felt any love at all for the woman who gave birth to his son.
He was the only Sith to become a Dark Side nexus.
Darth Sidious is the most powerful. He wielded UN LI MI TED PO WAAAAAAHHH!
I'd love to see a movie focused on Palpatine's origins and early life. I just don't trust Disney with it😞
I trust the Andor directors with it
@@BinksTheSith I need to see Andor. Haven't had the chance yet.
Disney should do a one season show called Palpatine that covers his childhood, how he developed his connection to the Force and ultimately became a Sith.
Cool story. How was it that Plagues could feel "nothing" when looking for Palatine ? Could he have been so empty ? Fascinating story.
I'll hear your voice saying "Palpatine" in my nightmares... Great video btw, but my god... Palpatine...
It would be cool if Disney+ created a show about young Palpatine and his rise to power. The political rise of Palpatine could be similar to Frank Underwood in House of Cards, while the training under Plagueis could be like Bruce Wayne training with Ra's al Ghul in Batman Begins.
Tom Hiddleston as a young palpatine be amazing
I clicked because I wanted to know why the 11th doctor was here.
so did i. fucking clickbait, dislike.
@@twisted_nether373 Matt Smith was meant to have filmed scenes for rise of Skywalker as a younger palpatine in flashbacks but it was scrapped sadly
@@gavinhamilton4094 I couldn't believe that the first I was hearing of this was weeks after Ep IX came out so I had to search it, myself. Wow.
SAME. Matt Smith as Palpatine would have saved Rise of Skywalker.
Love this!! Palpatine is one of my favorite characters!! 🛡️🗡️
Palpatine still used sheev in the early prequel era. He said that as his name to a young boy, Gallius Rax, if memory serves. On jakku when researching for his contingency plan. This was shown as a flashback in one of the aftermath books
Take a shot every time he says Palpatine
This is pretty cool and dark. Can imagine everything.Movie about him would be awesome.Sidious is the most powerful Sith ever.No doubt. It was his destiny. He was born to become a Sith, and the Emperor. May the Force be with you too
Darth bane? "You mearly adopted the darkness, I was born into it, moulded by it"
Oh I get it, when mace windu rebounded the lightning, palpatine just regenerated.
The opposite
Palpatine is my hero.
GOOOOOOOOOD.
Take shot every time he says “palpatine”
This would be a great prequel movie. Palpatine story when he was a youth.
YES!!!!!! Yes Star Wars DARTH SIDIOUS or PALPATINE. Which one you like ?
PALPATINE, something about it sounds best! He was much more than a Sith. He was a mastermind. The Phantom Menace. Took out all the Jedi, right under their noses too. Vader threw him overboard, and he still came back. Can’t help it, I like the guy!
I recommend just read the book
James Luceno is a genius :)
Mikołaj Pyka What book is this info in?
MrDishboy09 the Plagueis book
the Emperor, by far my fave villain
I wouldn't mind a Star Wars prequel film being made about a young Palpatine first meeting Darth Plagueis and eventually becoming a Sith.
I think it would work better as a Disney Plus series
I wish his “shadow in the force” was touched on in more main stream Star Wars canon to help explain why none of the Jedi could sense him
I don't know why or how, and I'd never thought I'd ever agree with this, but Matt Smith would actually be really great as a young Palpatine.
03:10 big chungus cameo
I think it's incredibly satisfying that directly after watching Episode III, I suggested that Palpatine was the apprentice who killed his Sith Master (Darth Plagueis The Wise). And so many people online disagreed with me and criticized my perception. And now we know that I was 100% correct.
Your mother must be so proud.
It would have been good if we had more imagery from Palpatine's youth rather than repeated scenes from the Star Wars prequel films, to accompany the detailed narration. Also - it is not explained why Palpatine's features changed so much following the fight with Mace Windu and the other Jedi Knights.
Palpatine a Star Wars Story
I agree a palpatine movie would be great to see his life as young boy to dark lord of the sith
@@csw1013 how bout a series about that
What if Sheev Palpatine gets a Disney+ TV series of his own? Maybe set before The Phantom Menace.
Palpatine thinks he's better than everyone ? HA i challenge him to a Mortal Kombat 11 Match.
Assassin Kapkan careful, he’ll kick your ass with raiden
A broken home is the key to all these guys.
If so many sith lords finally fell to the dark side by their family being killed or killing their family, maybe the jedi had a point by teling jedi not to have a family in the first place
Man an origin film of Sideous past would be amazing!
The biggest question is actually how he managed to not be found by the jedi at a very young age. For Anakin this makes sense, he lived on Tatooine, a rather remote place. Palpatine was from Naboo, part of the republic with senators and all the rest. As we know, the blood of all young children in the republic is collected and tested, how tf did he fall through that?
my guess would have to be that he was a shadow in the force and thats why but other than that no clue
We know that he had interest in things of the Sith AND he is a very deceiving man. He probably used his father's blood or some other things to dodge the Jedi recruiting and was able to hide behind his shadow in the force so nobody knew he had force.
Plot hole
The thumbnail tho...Imagine a Palpatine origin story with Matt Smith.....OH BOY I can see it!!! lmao
I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who assumed the good ol’ 11th Doctor as Palps
Palp is savage. Love it
8:57 "win a force fx lightsaber" what's that about?
*WE NEED A PALPATINE SERIES*
Was Palpatine born force-sensitive or did he learn how to use the force?
Momin stands out because he was able to physically resurrect himself thousands of years after his death.

Maybe if you had more self confidence...
Got to fill that 10 minute mark.
that blue tinted thumbnail with Matt Smith makes me feel like he'd look great as thrawn.
sheev, was smarter and better at everything than anyone else , I guess rey really is his grand daguther afterall
LOL
I wouldn't mind a film based on a younger Sheev Palpatine or a Disney+ t.v series.
We could see all the back story about him growing up, dislike for his family, rising up the political ranks & meeting Plagueis &
turning to the dark side then killing his master.
Who here was disappointed that Darth plagues wasn't snoke? would of made the movie so much better ugh
Snoke is a Wil in my opinion look it up
This story arc would actually make a good series
@Leewilldofine Pedro. P. Palpatine.
p. That's about as much as anyone ever had with a Rey theory. they better have this in the high republic movies or I'll throw a fit!
Yes. Palpatine would be a great movie or TV series
matt smith would’ve been excellent as young palatine, he was actually pretty sinister in terminator genesis and he could get quite dark in dr who
Palpatine here. Nice video 👌🏼
Hasn't everyone done this video like 10 times already.
NotMy Name. Yep
The thumbnail is the ultimate Star Wars and Terminator crossover.
I thought I saw Gordan Ramsay in the thumbnail
The *FULL STORY* … proceeds to say he will explore this event at another time lol
Here’s a huge plot hole: How didn’t Yoda or Luke know who Rae was and not sense she was a Palpatine???
They did? Leia did at least so why wouldnt they?
A series covering Palpatines life and ending as he takes a young Maul to be his apprentice would be good
Not exactly the story I recall from the Plagueis novel.
@@sarahcook2818 A take that Ian McDiarmid has supported.
Palpatine has sent for a medical team and he’s waiting for them to arrive-and he just gently touches Anakin’s forehead. Sidious doesn’t have any qualities we normally associate with humanity, except he does have a master-servant relationship with Anakin. Anakin means something to him.”
The Making of Star Wars: Episode III- The Revenge of the Sith
