Yeah like when Yoda said "the shroud of the Dark Side has fallen." I was just thinking to myself "mate, its never been lifted." Sidious is right when he says that the Jedi are limited in their force powers. There are no limits for a Sith.
I feel Sidious should of kept Maul, Savage Dooku, Anakin/Vader, Asajj, And Grievous all as acolytes rather then true siths in Canon and keep lots of secrets hidden from them to keep them under his rule that would be more fitting for his character yeah.
Ah the Gus Fring pop. That's been sitting on my shelf for around 4 or 5 years or whenever it came out. It's actually one of the first pops I owned and my wife bought it for me 😁
George Lucas said Vader had about 80% of Palpatines power. He also said Vader lost half of his potential when he lost all his limbs on Mustifar. If we use midichlorian counts as a basis for measuring force power, then this would suggest Vader measured at 16,000 midichlorians, if Palpatine was at 20,000. But here's where I get confused. 16,000 is not half of what Anakin was revealed to have in The Phantom Menace. Obi-Wan said "over 20,000." This would suggest that half that potential is 10,000. Meaning Palpatine is at 12,000. If half of Vaders potential was actually 16,000, then his full potential would have been 32,000. This would have allowed him to dominate every other force user with ease, even Palpatine. I would sermise that a possible explanation is that as we grow, our midichlorian count grows with us. So an 8 year old boy on Tatooine with 20,000 midichlorians could have far more by the time they reach adulthood. This is conceivable since ones midichlorian count is directly tied to living cells. The more living cells we gain as we grow, the more midichlorians we gain as well. This is why Anakin lost half of his potential; half of his living body was severed from him on Mustifar (save his left arm which was severed on Geonosis). With half of his living body gone, he lost half of his affinity to the Force.
sixteen episodes work together the 2 finale episodes On the whole, I definitely felt this season was not only good but also an excellent improvement over season 1. We got a lot more intriguing stuff such as the phasing out of the Clones, the Bad Batch figuring out what to do, the potential of a Clone Rebellion, etc. Also, limiting the guest characters was appreciated too, and even with the guests used such as Senator Chuchi, they were used to great effect. So yeah, I greatly enjoyed this season and look forward to season 3 (which I suspect could be the final one ends with a plot twist and leaves the next season in so many directions Tech's sacrifice was powerful, moving, and unexpected. I do however think One of my favorite seasons of Star Wars. Everything hit for me and it all paid off in the end Not enough people recognize the incredible character writing we have in star wars now. From season 7 of CW to the end of TBB s2, the squad has evolved so much. Not to mention all the other stories like Mando whose characters have majorly evolved. And of course Andor with its deeply nuanced approach. Some people see star wars as a fun action franchise, which it is, but it is also so much more and should be recognized for that Overall I did enjoy this season, definitely the best of the two so far. I think Season 3 will be great with what they have set up. We got a lot of good character development, emotion, fun stories, new worlds and characters, and a lot of good action. For what this show is on its own following this squad of characters I think they are handled well. I am personally on the side of seeing each episode for what they are and not as "filler" because it didn't follow some main storyline. Each episode follows our Batch even if some might be lesser than others. I am ready for Season 3 though and we'll see if they announce it at Celebration here soon I hope it all comes together in a satisfying third season and maybe a finale Bad batch season 2 is like when it's good, it's GREAT. Crosshair had almost ALL the best episodes and when it was bad it was horrible filler. I'm just surprised the bad batch didn't have an episode where they were doing Sid's laundry or grocery shopping. In my opinion, this show is so disappointing. Why are all of the most important character decisions off-screen? Cody leaves the Empire, Echo leaves the group to go with Rex, and the Batch leaves Cid, all of these are off-screen and irritate me I hope they cut out all those unnecessary filler episodes next season.
could've done some of the transitions abit more smooth, sometimes it cuts of mid-sentence, and goes straight into something entirely different. but all in all, super video 🤌🤌🤌😎
Palps character is one of the things I’d really like too see in a “What if” for starwars. There’s so many strings he was pulling behind the scenes and should just one of them go wrong it could of ruined everything or just exposed him heavily. I think had anakin actually won his last duel with obi then we may have seen the emperor act differently , actually treating him like an heir so too speak as that’s literally what he is.. 🤷🏽♂️ because really Anakin did win , he completed his task in the form of killing out all the Jedi basically single handed and the younglings… he went literal god mode for a moment and killed ALL in his path except his old master and a handful of others who either escaped somehow or just were of world in active service . Obviously sideous wanted too humiliate him over how extreme his loss was too his old master but like I said , what if ? Perhaps palps would have acted differently🤷🏽♂️ he still woulda dished out pain and punishment and being dark Vader would kinda want that.. insuring the best of his abilities and dark places too pull from when he needs them most.
I think had Anakin won against obi wan, and sidious not actually help him save padme Anakin would have killed him in the early days while he was most powerful with the force and sabre. Palps wanted a weakened Anakin so he could control him he had no interest in a heir because he planned to be his own heir he just needed a subordinate that was strong enough to not be fucked with by anyone but not strong enough to fuck with him either.
think about that clone wars episode where fives finds out about the chips and their real function , if that had gotten exposed he would’ve lost his ultimate trump card in order 66
The big Kuba I get from all of this is that had Sidious actually trusted Vader and helped him grow he would've been a trustworthy ally to the end. But he treated him the same way the jedi council did. Withholding information, refusing to train him in the greater scope of the force. Limiting him to being a mindless hammer much like the council. He would've been the most powerful sith, and with his views to eradicate the jedi in their entirety, he would have done so before any of then could sway his juvenile mind back against the emperor. He just wanted actual friends.
I think that it is important that in the novel Darth Plageus, the dark lord of the Sirh (Plageus) wanted, or at least insinuated that the rule of two was antiquated and no longer necessary.
Well the main purpose of the rule of two was to defeat/eradicate the Jedi. Order 66 could well be played out with him still alive and Palpatine being chancellor and doing as he did. Anakin being either just a tool (probs how he sold it to Palps) or meant to replace Palps as his "workhorse"/more of an enforcer (the actual plan). Plageius actively worked on immortality, and I don't buy Palps following the rule of two and actually training any apprentice (unmamed chosen one or not) to the point he'd be able to surpas him after the Jedi were no more. Lay back, become immortal and rule for eternity with a sufficiently strong, but not too strong enforcer, replace as needed.
@Matt_91 Great reply and very insightful! I still need to read the book of sith and the book of jedi. The Plagueus novel portrayed a young Palpatine quite well I though. A little weasel suckling at his rich family, getting away with things no one else would and probably having some inkling about the force he had before being trained. In the novel, I also found it interesting that palps master treated him more like an equal than any other sith that I know of. And of course Palp turned out to be the galaxies greatest gaslight!

@1:39:14 I honestly believe that if Dooku had chosen to overthrow Sidious after he dueled Yoda to a stalemate he could have beaten the Sith Master. The news of Dooku being able to contend with Yoda put enough fear in Sidious for Dooku to use as an advantage. And with him being very powerful around this time I believe if his timing was on point he could have overthrown Sidious, but only in this moment. The problem is Dooku was too loyal and waited too long to find other means to try to overthrow his master. Had he took the initiative to do it at that time I'm positive that he could've killed Sidious if he attacked him the correct way and pushed a duel. When the fear was stricken into Sidious would have been the perfect time for Dooku to engage him, and I believe it would have been a different outcome for Dooku and the galaxy. That's the reason why Sidious knew he had to keep his apprentice busy and ware him down so he couldn't think clearly enough to plot, and his confidence would be worn down as well.
@@stephenkuchler951 I wouldn’t say fear but he was amazed that he was able to duel Yoda to a standstill. I only say Dooku could’ve beaten Sidious had it been strictly dueling and right timing. There’s no way he could beat him unless he gets to him before Sidious could just overpower him in the force which would happen. But if Dooku had the chance to evolve and if he had beaten anakin in their final duel I’m sure it would’ve sent chills to Sidious in terms of dueling. But I think he would’ve reached ROTS Sidious power level had he lived longer and if he chose to fully tap into the dark side. But I think that range of power would’ve been his top potential. But no he couldn’t contend with Sidious in ROTS overall.
Respectfully ❤ your lore and insight. So much I wasn't aware of . I look forward to future videos and have so many questions ....things that make you go 🤔🤣
1:47:20 sidious was right to get rid of dooku, if he didn’t i believe dooku would have been able to overthrow him with a padawan/by himself dueling alone dooku was too cold and he is christopher lee so W
The story of the Emperor and the clones is almost mythical. Added to that of Darth Vader and his judicious prosecution of the fallen Jedi and the beginning of the red dawn as a supply train from the clown wars, finding themselves with work, with the end of the clone wars. Eventually, with the red dawn doing the same as the clone army, as some of the fallen Jedi became liabilities. With this the only battle of the rebel alliance from the trade confederacy and the now abolished slave trade, as droids were to now take place. With a land battle, newly rebellion would wage a decisive battle as the clones are not infinite, and this knowledge was common to the Jedi, so the now Imperial fleet would be still weak as most have been sent to scrap. The Rebellion go to planet and attempt to occupy the moon to the planet of the main imperial fleet. With the engagement met by the imperial force against armed assault droids and fighters, vanguarded by Jedi, there wasn't much to do but hold as best they can. The clones, with experience against force users and unconventional tactics hold but are trapped. This is when the Rebel armored tanks are met by Vader. His personal stormtrooper unit with him are able to stop the assault force. But only, the destruction of the Jedi led armored assault halted the ex-confederates. With fresh combat droids being deployed, the Emperor lands, and with his guard, push the balance of the battle as he make contact while encircled with Vader, but with dark energy everywhere, from screaming to broken droid, the unleash a storm as the stormtroopers and crimson guard back the Imperial Army. With Shield up and red backing the begin to push. With lightening tearing some fallen Jedi and Vader lifting and crushing other Jedi and droids nearing only to crumple. The trooper fire shows no mercy. This is the former combination Kenobi and Skywalker units of the 325th and 505th, until the reform of the imperial forces, after the mutiny of the Jedi commanders and order 66. There is no love lost for the now human, opposition, as these were the banking clans and planet partners. One being alderaan.. With precision and pure hostile intent, the Jedi warriors fall with the power of the Emperor and Vader, the succumbing to stormtrooper fire in the midst of battle, until the droids were passed and the trade confederacy was left. At this point, the stormtroopers we're taking radio comms bots and shutting down units. With the trade confederacy routed, the losses are considerate. But all are in awe of Vader's as Vader looks on to Palpatine throwing lightening. He points with his saber to the troop transports departing. They have won the day. An Emperor and a Lord Protector, with a public opinion with them, have culminated. The troops from the army begin to say, to the emperor. ✌️ @disney
I can’t make it through the first section. How many times and in how many different ways do you have to repeat the same reasons why Palpatine didn’t want to control mandalore?
And do you know the worst part the most terrible thought, Palpatine was the good guy The jedi are evil the sith are a persecuted religion And honestly I believe everything I just comment and I'm not lost no, I... am... Awake
Actually one time when Palpa teen made Jedi fight one another he actually allowed one to live and become a spy for him to infiltrate Jedi survivor groups but then Vader killed him
I wonder if sidious played a role in anakins mothers death like had the tusken raiders kidnap and torcher her through a 3rd party which he knew that would also help him with using his anger ultimately
i think that would have come out in the comics or somewhere else, already, since it would make for a great story, showing vader having to accept that with seething rage
So I know that this is probably late... I have a theory regarding force ghosts Someone can probably disprove me, But my theory kind of works In the manners that afforce ghost is more of something that is summoned rather than an independent being. Every canonical Appearance of a force ghost always comes to someone whose connected very intently with some one. When Luke feels lost the person he reaches out for is Obi won. So Obi wan manifests and then gives him the guidance that hes looking for from the perspective of himself being one with the force. Next we see Obi Won, Yoda, and Anakin... all of which only appear after Luke reflects on his journey after the Endor battle Yoda refers to Qui Gon's ghost in E3. Qui Gon was trained by Dooku who was trained by Yoda. Yoda took Dooku's turn pretty personal and it would make sense that Yoda would feel responsible to make amends as much as possible. It's within his character. Yoda also says he'll teach Obi Won how to communicate with Qui Gon. Imo, if a ghost can manifest... why would you need training to talk to one? We have Yoda in TLJ appearing as Luke feels like a failure and is losing the jedi way. Reaching out to the greatest jedi ever for guidance (even subconsciously). We now have Yoda appearing to Palpatine, who was obsessing over Yoda. It seems like there's a willing call and a willing answer associated with Force Ghosts We now have Yoda appearing
No doubt palpatine was scared of older Luke that’s why he waited till he died to come back because he knew he would have never beaten luke🤣 omg especially legends luke
Funny you should say that. In the unreleased version of rise of skywalker, it was Annakins force ghost that killed palpatine, not Rey (Ma-Rey-suueeee!) But I guess KK thought that took away from the feminist agenda.
Palpatine would never want to hand over the empire or power, ever. He wanted to be an immortal, perpetual master, The Final Dark Lord. There was never any wish to hand over the Empire to a worthy successor. That's ludicrous lol
Darth Bane is the greatest Sith Lord of all time. He started the rule of two, the most successful Sith order that culminated in the Sith ruling the galaxy.
20:18 I paused. I swear I read in the books that the force will always find a balance, even light, even dark. Maybe because the Jedi were the dominant force in the galaxy (light) the force made Sidious (dark) but Sidious went too dark so Luke came around... I don't know just an idea.
I needed this segment as my oc is son of Rey and Finn and reincarnation of Ben Solo his grandfather is the emperor I want to create a force ghost version of the emperor so my character can interact with him directly I needed evidence in existing lore canon or non to justify this idea thanks for all you do bro
Banes legacy was fulfilled by sidious his greatest heir. Palpatine was so intelligent, cunning and powerful. Imagine his amusement knowing he stood in front of jedi-jedi such as yoda and windu and they never knew he was a sith lord.
It's very interesting to speculate what would have happened if the Jedi found Palpatine first. Palpatine would have remained the psychopath (they are among the Jedi, see Ki-Adi-Mundi for reference) he is with an endless thirst for more power, but constrained by the Jedi. He couldn't connive to the level he could as a politician and a secret Sith because he would lack the resources and connections and would be bound by his Jedi duties. If he went rogue in his later year, at best he'd be like Dooku, but for different reasons. He'd probably never be able to become the Emperor that way. What would he have done? Be exiled by the Jedi as a teenager? Then what?
I just want to say he would not be able to rule the Mandalorians after defeating maul for the dark saber, because back in the clone wars, Obi-Wan beat pre-Vizla in combat but didn’t want the saber so Obi-Wan is the rightful ruler of Mandalore Palpatine would need to defeat Obi-Wan, and he’s never fought him, I find it funny and kind of beautiful that Obi-Wan loved the Duchess and her him but he was also her king🥰
Ah. Finally I find the time to listen to my biography. I just want to say one thing... there was a reason I left Rey on this planet... it obviously wasn't one of my best plans.

Also if you put a bunch at the end of the video you’ll get more revenue because Ill be asleep and it’ll go through all the ads without skipping them.
I wonder what would've happened had Mace Windu actually been able to finish Palpatine. For one thing, he wouldn't have been able to call for Order 66, so contrary to what you said the Jedi would not have been slaughtered either way. What he should've done was pretended to go along with Anakin--"all right all right, we'll take him to trial if you insist"--to distract Anakin, and then quickly finished him before Anakin could react
I have a three hour drive that you just made much more bearable. Much appreciated. Automatic like.

It’s so great that he is better on the monotone. And general content. I can fucking listen to three hours of sidious
Ive been waiting a long time for this!!! Cackle in darkside
I feel Sidious should of kept Maul, Savage Dooku, Anakin/Vader, Asajj, And Grievous all as acolytes rather then true siths in Canon and keep lots of secrets hidden from them to keep them under his rule that would be more fitting for his character yeah.
“One would shudder to think what the galaxy would be like without the Jedi” (Palpy in the Clone Wars) lol
Ah the Gus Fring pop. That's been sitting on my shelf for around 4 or 5 years or whenever it came out. It's actually one of the first pops I owned and my wife bought it for me 😁
A soda pop. Not to be confused with a wrestling pop

Sheev Palpatine
George Lucas said Vader had about 80% of Palpatines power. He also said Vader lost half of his potential when he lost all his limbs on Mustifar. If we use midichlorian counts as a basis for measuring force power, then this would suggest Vader measured at 16,000 midichlorians, if Palpatine was at 20,000.
But here's where I get confused. 16,000 is not half of what Anakin was revealed to have in The Phantom Menace. Obi-Wan said "over 20,000."
This would suggest that half that potential is 10,000.
With half of his living body gone, he lost half of his affinity to the Force.
that last bit about the terminally ill patient was poetry love it there vultures lol
I'm genuinely curious what would of happened if Dooku faked Ventress' assassination and continued to train her in secret
Thanks for making this compilation !!!
sixteen episodes work together the 2 finale episodes On the whole, I definitely felt this season was not only good but also an excellent improvement over season 1.
Obi wan: what does the scouter say about his mitichlorian count?
Mace Windu: it's over 9000!!!
Just watched this entire thing!! Love it
I think that it is important that in the novel Darth Plageus, the dark lord of the Sirh (Plageus) wanted, or at least insinuated that the rule of two was antiquated and no longer necessary.

@@doodahman2995 Yes, its first time happening for me, it was amazing
You don’t really think sidious feels fear. Especially from Dooku who he played like a fool
Sidioush too cold 🥶

✌️
@disney
This has been an amazing listen tonight. I love the content.
He definitely pulling that thing out for yoda that's for sure 😂😂
12:30 If Sideous honestly believed that he had grown beyond the need for lightsabers, he wouldn't even own one.
I can’t make it through the first section. How many times and in how many different ways do you have to repeat the same reasons why Palpatine didn’t want to control mandalore?
Absolutely great information 🎉
And do you know the worst part the most terrible thought,
Palpatine was the good guy
The jedi are evil the sith are a persecuted religion
And honestly I believe everything I just comment and I'm not lost no, I... am...

Great job best sith
Actually one time when Palpa teen made Jedi fight one another he actually allowed one to live and become a spy for him to infiltrate Jedi survivor groups but then Vader killed him
I wonder if sidious played a role in anakins mothers death like had the tusken raiders kidnap and torcher her through a 3rd party which he knew that would also help him with using his anger ultimately
Definitely not beyond the realm of possibility considering all that he is capable of
@@ejandrews3065 that’s all I’m sayin like he planned everything from the very beginning I think that was part of the plan
never thought of that before but now when you think about it, it almost seems like a certainty with Sidious's way of planning off his foresight.
i think that would have come out in the comics or somewhere else, already, since it would make for a great story, showing vader having to accept that with seething rage
Torture not torcher...
His daughter then completes the destruction of the Skywalker family and then takes their name. Eternal victory.
So I know that this is probably late... I have a theory regarding force ghosts
Someone can probably disprove me, But my theory kind of works In the manners that afforce ghost is more of something that is summoned rather than an independent being.
Every canonical Appearance of a force ghost always comes to someone whose connected very intently with some one.
When Luke feels lost the person he reaches out for is Obi won. So Obi wan manifests and then gives him the guidance that hes looking for from the perspective of himself being one with the force.
Next we see Obi Won, Yoda, and Anakin... all of which only appear after Luke reflects on his journey after the Endor battle
Yoda refers to Qui Gon's ghost in E3.
It seems like there's a willing call and a willing answer associated with Force Ghosts
We now have Yoda appearing
No doubt palpatine was scared of older Luke that’s why he waited till he died to come back because he knew he would have never beaten luke🤣 omg especially legends luke
Let’s be real here, legends luke would have torn the first order apart in a year.

Funny you should say that. In the unreleased version of rise of skywalker, it was Annakins force ghost that killed palpatine, not Rey (Ma-Rey-suueeee!) But I guess KK thought that took away from the feminist agenda.
Great information 🎉
Palpatine would never want to hand over the empire or power, ever. He wanted to be an immortal, perpetual master, The Final Dark Lord. There was never any wish to hand over the Empire to a worthy successor. That's ludicrous lol
Darth Bane is the greatest Sith Lord of all time. He started the rule of two, the most successful Sith order that culminated in the Sith ruling the galaxy.
Goooooooooodddd….
Love the long video. Thank you.
Awesome video
thanks sooooooooooooo muchhh ty ty ty bro ty
Then what?
It's literally 2:30 in the morning while watching this
Idk why I’m watching this at 4 in the morning lol
I just want to say he would not be able to rule the Mandalorians after defeating maul for the dark saber, because back in the clone wars, Obi-Wan beat pre-Vizla in combat but didn’t want the saber so Obi-Wan is the rightful ruler of Mandalore Palpatine would need to defeat Obi-Wan, and he’s never fought him, I find it funny and kind of beautiful that Obi-Wan loved the Duchess and her him but he was also her king🥰
Ah. Finally I find the time to listen to my biography. I just want to say one thing... there was a reason I left Rey on this planet... it obviously wasn't one of my best plans.
just wondering; how much hard drive space did this all take up? 😹
1:06:49- Lol you apparently didn’t get that one in the editing room!!! It’s all good. I thought it was me at first lmao
Why do people even argue that palpatine beat mace when the creator of star wars said mace neat him fair and square
i love your videos

You'll never understand the greatness of sith storytelling if you've never read/listened a vast amount of books
Sith and thrawn, thrawn is one of the best book characters to ever exist
I wonder what would've happened had Mace Windu actually been able to finish Palpatine. For one thing, he wouldn't have been able to call for Order 66, so contrary to what you said the Jedi would not have been slaughtered either way.
What he should've done was pretended to go along with Anakin--"all right all right, we'll take him to trial if you insist"--to distract Anakin, and then quickly finished him before Anakin could react
Been waiting for this one
