Idea: FPV camera in this car. And drive it with a VR-bril.
I've driven my baja rey with an FPV live feed screen and it's definitely a unique challenge ! really immersive though. But the "scale" speed feels like I'm going 500mph and it gets scary lol
Got my DBXL-E a few days ago and so far I'm loving it, handles like a dream.
Admittedly the loose pinion is a known issue on these, always got to check that when you buy one.
I'm hoping the plan is to put one of your MGM ESC's into the DBXL-E, that's what I'm in the process of doing for 12S, just got to pony up for BRP wheels that won't explode.
Man that thing is fast.. planning on buying another rc similar to this size. Bigger scale seems to go through everything with no problem.

Well depending on your price range and what you want to do with it there are a number of great cars, Stemp was driving a arrma big rock, which is apparently a great car at only $300

This is what I'd like to build for a 100mph off road car. It's so big and stable... with a massive power upgrade I think it could get there and perform well

It could use tires all 4 on mine blew at the bead

Hello Kev there is a super cool hill climb in nightingale valley Bristol it’s super tall and steep and it’s by a tree with bricks in it, I call it hoss hill because the traxxas hoss is the only car ( or person ) to ever climb it

I love this car , i had the previous model and i use it and abuse it. Heavy heavy car , but ,if used properly can be a total blast, I’m planning to gwt this new version too.

You can actually tune the esc to make it break harder, reverse faster, be faster in general, and a lot more

Awesome rig. Looks like she needs some heavier fluid in the front. Thinner in the rear. Thicken up the center and she’s going to nose dive a lot less. Reminds me of a stock Typhon 6s jumping. Awesome video 🍻🤜
I upgraded mine with 19T pinion and it reached 111 km/h. Also 19T is the biggest that will fit on stock motor mount.
One more note, losi didn't use enough threadlocker on this model so check the front dogbones, becouse on mine the front left pin backed out and did some damage.
Will the 19T make it faster than the 18T?

I have the losi xl-e too but its tthe 1.0 version im so glad you’re getting into losi cars
I have a 1.0 as well. Not much difference between the two version. The 2.0 got revised bulkheads and diff cases which can go on your 1.0 model.

I throughly enjoyed the radio smashing session with the music haha. As a mechanic we do this almost daily with tools or something else (heavy equipment don’t worry I don’t do this to your cars haha). I really like the dbxle 2.0 and the DX5C is my go to radio right now. I was thinking of a 5T 2.0 as my large scale but seeing this big electric beast I’m gonna have to look into the buggy. It took a good beating I wouldn’t be as rough lol. Special project you will convert it to gas hahah jk

I have an idea for a new intro. When the weather warms up a bit so you don't have to get salt all over the chassis of your Lambo. Place whatever the RC box you have on top of the spoiler, have one camera set up a little away from the car and one ready for the slow mo drop. Launch control the car and capture the RC you have falling off and hitting the ground 👌. Just a thought 😁

Nice run with it. I had the pinion come loose on mine on the first run as well. Interesting. But overall it's been a fun RC. Look forward to what you do with it. I just ordered a bigger pinion for mine mainly for more control in the air. Scary when it goes nose down and you can't get it to lift.
