Never heard of Shadow of the Beast?! Wow, there's some America-Europe divide right there. The Amiga original of Shadow of the Beast (which is the version I recommend playing if you want to explore it in detail) was legendary back in the day here in Europe for being one of the most visually stunning games that had ever been created. It's one of several games that really put publisher Psygnosis on the map, and it was one of the first titles by developer Reflections, who went on to create the Destruction Derby and Driver series in the PlayStation era.
Opinions were mixed on Shadow of the Beast's gameplay, however -- which, as you saw with the Lynx version, had plenty of... let's call them "idiosyncrasies"! It's still worth a look, though, and it definitely has its fans.

TMNTIV was such a gem of a game. Neon Night Riders was always my favorite level, which in hindsight is funny to think that it's supposed to be set in 2020.

Ah, Turtles in Time AKA Slam Fiesta 95. Or at least that's what me and my friends called it. I swear when you grab those poor Foot Soldiers by the wrist and go all Hulk vs Loki you can hear the sounds of their digital bones breaking......good times

Lol, so Jackie Chan's game was really popular in Argentina... As Mario 8. Yup, a Famicom hack that replaced Jackie with Mario sprites. Sometimes just the head, sometimes the entire thing. We all knew it was ridiculous but the gameplay is pretty cool!

What did he mean he didn't know shadow of the beast? This doesn't make sense for a person who had his childhood in the 90's. Maybe it was me who had an Amiga and not the majority. Shadow of the beast 3 was out in 1992. Check out the soundtrack on this by the composer Tim Wright. I am waiting for feedback

The SNES version of Turtles in Time was infinitely superior to the arcade and the godawful remake. Why regress to the version that doesn't include Rocksteady and Bebop? Man, being an 80s Turtles fan in the 2000s was tough.
