Adjusted for inflation and the worth loss when switching to Euro it seems games were more expensive back then. Not sure how it is in the dollar nations.

I knew one kid that went to my school who had one. He also was the kid who got a 3DO at launch. I think he had every system that was out back then. I have no idea what his dad did other than murder somebody on a street corner. He uh, never came back to our school after that.

I wouldn't put much trust in Nintendo power ratings for their own games. A third party's ratings would automatically be less biased.
