Mine is a 54 chevy 3100 pickup and i hace like 3" play in the wheel.
It's the same procedure or it changes?
In the shop manual explain the same procedure but is not as good as yours (visual).
Any diagram or visual on a chevy like mine or its the same?

How is it possible for the gear to turn that worm gear? I mean its like a rack and pinion if turn the pitman arm isn't it?

Would that work on older heavy equipment with a gear box like an old Hough H50 paylaoder? whenever I drive mine the steer wheels go from left to right and I have to counter act them. Non stop. Like driving drunk
