Tara is just a banger of an album all the way through hellyeah, hard to pick just one song! My favorite album of theirs produciton- wise too. Other great USBM bands that left a huge mark before the current wave: Kult ov Azazel, Krieg, (you already mentioned Inquisition), Abazagorath, and there's many more haha. Proscriptor (sp) still has an active couple pages/ platforms like Instagram, AND he's selling a metric shitload of vintage and old school Black Metal memorabilia, from old posters, cassettes, vhs's of shows, and so on. I also highly recommend you check out these bands as well- Tenebrosus (excellent Polish BM that broke up a while ago, their album Lost and Forgotten is fantastic), The Legion (Unseen to Creation album is absolutely amazing, their drummer also drummed for Marduk for a time), and Zarathustra (excellent German BM, albums Perpetual Black Force and In Hora Mortis are awesome).
Despite the relatable controversies with Melissa Moore(I've been in similar situations as her). Anyways I still absolutely love Absu. I love the blackened thrash elements and proscriptor is a very good vocalist/drummer also Apsu is really good too. I love music no matter what the musicians do within their life.
Let me know what YOUR favorite song is from Absu below.

@@MetalTrenches Hellyeah man, trust me when I say all those I mentioned are just killer albums haha, you're in for a treat.
Joanna Peréz Hell yes
It still blows my mind this is music from Texas.

It's almost impossible to pick 1 favorite Absu song!
Facts.
I know right?
The 'Tara' album is the only black metal album I've ever been able to listen to, start to finish.
It's the best.
A fantastic tribute man! Regards! E
Thank you. Sad that not many people are seeing this. I enjoyed making it.
Same here, always be a fan !!! Long live the king, the king is dead !!! I truly recommend The stone of destiny from Tara.
RIP Absu
Joanna Peréz 😩😢😭
Absu is back, at least for live performances.
Hall of Masters
I get into ABSU in time to find out they've been long gone years ago.
They are now back as Proscriptor McGovern’s Abzu. The latest album was very good.
How is your voice so much lower in register as compared to your newer videos? 😂
I think back then I just talked slower and had less confidence. My newer videos are probably closer to how I sound in day to day conversation.
Cool. Keep the videos coming..
I often disagree but I definitely appreciate them
Tara rips!!!
Absu.us Absu still exists. They replaced Vis Crom and changed the name.
It’s now Proscriptor McGovern’s Apsu. I know.
