Even in the US, the EV is not good for long road trips, it is better suitable for local trips. People carry a generator in their trunk to charge the car while on the go. I prefer gas cars for long road trips and not EVs. Rental car companies ditch gas cars and prefer to rent EV at a better price.

As long as EV cars with really long range at affordable costs are launched, these cars not going to be desired ones. Noone wants to wait for hours to recharge for every 150 kms.

I driven 750 Km from chennai to Kanniyakumari on My Skoda Kushaq
Reached in 11hours with 4 rest stops!!
2 stops for Breakfast and lunch and other 2 for tea break which is around 1.30hrs
so hardly 10-10.30 hrs actual drive with minimum speed of 85km
my car gives 17km+
If i go with EV cars how much time it will take???
If you go with nexon ev LR, it has 40kw battery.. average kw consumption per km 120w/km to 126w/km.. so you will get 40,000/126 = 317km for full charge.
Really i don't know, but iam assuming it will take more than 15 hours...Here range is not only the concern, we had so many problems that is not all the station have 50 w chargers and so many station are not in use also....

Because i have travelled more than 8000 Kms in Ev car itself only long trips and also i have a full prepared itinerary for the same journey chennai to kanniyakumari. If you wanna concrete numbers just wait for few weeks sure i will upload the full journey video.

Bro as per ur calculation ev vehicle is not profit as you said it cost you Rs1909 for arround 400 kms in should off if u took petrol car for eg wagonr it cost the same amount for petrol so ev vehicle is not profitable

EV cars does not make sense as of now with such poorly developed infrastructure and high charging costs. Petrol and diesel cars are here to stay for much longer.
@@rajeshr8121 when his usage is high he should have got for ICE car. I have a xuv 700 for long trips and Tiago EV XZ plus tech lux for short trips and city commutes. It’s a brilliant car for the price.
It’s like, buying an elephant and expecting it to go fast while riding…. Like a horse.
I m using this daily 60km, by using home charge 24 unit current will be consumed, 24x8₹= ₹192 for around 200km, 1₹ per km, first understand your requirement and buy 😂😂 Tiago ev XT is 1.8 Lak more than Tiago XT AMT petrol which will be breakeven in 2 to 3 years, Tiago petrol 103₹ for 16km, 7₹ per km vs ₹1 per km😂

Problem with Tiago EV and TATA EV cars are - they don’t give the committed range. Not a pure electric.
Fuel Cars mileage also certified from ARAI, but we don't got that mileage same as EV range
@@srigiri2683 EV cars cannot be compared to fuel ⛽️ cars. EV cars has to be driven in a different way. The fact is Tata Tiago is just a conventional petrol car converted to EV. Not a pure electric. Due to cylindrical cell and battery arrangement and excess weight, they can’t produce range. There will be drop. Secondly suspension and driving dynamics are not tuned for EV concept. It’s just a push made by Tata saying 5 ⭐️ rated car. I suggest take test drive of other pure electric EV cars before choosing blindly.
It is the foolish marketing gimmick of car mfrs .. wrong attitude. Only fooling public. Govt should allow to announce true road range not theroytical value attained on lab conditions
Tata punch is a better choice with first car in pure ev platform
