Sir ,I am rajagopalan ev two wheeler dealer and mechanic, in my view by experience slow driving is best to ev( you can get best result of battery life)
One nuro surgeon another one operation reserch scientist both gave excellent review on EV .wow very surprise to see both of them sharing their excellent knowledge about their car.
Except for the people of TN and up to some extent in AP, the rest of India is highly receptive to EV. One can find the difference in the comments section itself. Majority of this state car enthusiasts still prefer the ICE. But EV is the way ahead and if the recent facelift version of Nexon EV 2023 is true to its rumours, where the range is expected to be close 520 kms which means an effective actual range somewhere around 350 kms, then things will be better for EV.
In my opinion which I have shared in another post, the infrastructure for ev is still developing and it's the same as when the petrol/diesel/LPG/CNG vehicles got introduced for the 1st time. Even till now CNG & LPG has lesser fuelling stations compared to the other two. I have a petrol & LPG variant Santro and it's quite harder to find a lpg station near my home. Electric vehicles are the future and it's up to any individual on buying it now or after 2 years. We must always keep plan B for any unforeseen situation. My suggestion is if u drive 50-100 kms everyday & want to save on fuel & to travel with comfort, just go for ev. Again, parking may be hectic in busy streets but a well qualified driver can park anywhere and they won't find it difficult. EV is best for city commute. P.S. I have pre booked an ev with Tata motors.
The charging infrastructure is available and is developing at a good rate. You don’t use EV for long drives and try to use it as a secondary car. I’m getting a range of 320 kms easily in city and a guaranteed range of 280kms with speeds around 80kmph+ with ac on with full load
Got this issue once in 18k kms , car shut down near krishnagiri , RSA took it to hosur and battery replacement was done by Hosur TATA within 8 days . They gave me proper documentation for the replacement and had to check the under chassis for any battery damages before warranty claim .. It was a hassle free process , i was first worried that the problem will come back but then i understood that the warranty wokrs well and we do not have to worry upto 8yrs/1.6L kms . So decided to keep the car with myself . Have done 5k kms on the replacement battery and no issues till date . I also took photos of my old battery serial number(2 batteries near the boot) so that i'm sure about the replacement .
I bought Tiago EV and drove 5000kms and so far my experience is good. You need to choose a car which fits your need. My need is for city driving and highway driving of 180km(up and down). For that Tiago EV is great choice. The build quality is good, the doors are stronger than I expected from a small car segment. There are few small issues on interior finishing and color choices but overall it is cost saving if you use it correctly. EV Infra is still in early stages, so it works only for people who plan their trip well. For people who plan for random visits and distances, it will not work. Overall I am impressed with Tiago EV so far. Well done TATA! Thanks @birlasparvai for the video. I learnt few tips from other EV users :)

Ev for city no issues, for highways it's a question because, you might have chargers available, but it's a equation of time 1 how much time it takes to charge, 2 average speed, acceleration vs battery depletinon. Which decides how much time you take to reach your destination, the more longer it is the more complicated it will become, 3 to over come the time issues need to buy a bigger car but it's costly affair then comes a question of time taken to recover the invested amount
