Brock...I have straight ladders, a little giant and the telescoping. As you said they all have their place, but I do like the compactness and ease of use on the telescoping ladder, I have had mine about 10 years. Bob
I have the telescoping ladder. I have been using it for years. It is my go to ladder. Mine only has the 2 release buttons at the bottom. Press them and it all comes down one section at a time. Easy to store and throw in the truck
Hey Brock, That little giant ladder can be separated into two a-frame ladders. You have to buy what they call trestle brackets. I have one and love it. I like that collapsible ladder. Good video.
Just so you know, TH-cam put 6 adds in the middle of your video not counting the 2 at the beginning and one at the end...that's worse than network TV!!! That's a cool setup!
Good morning Brock. I too have a "Little Giant" ladder and I absolutely love it. The thing that I love most at my age is the stability of the ladder. But, like you said it gets heavier every time I use it. But I still wouldn't trade it. I also have a couple of step ladders and a 16' extension ladder that I use for small jobs. Anyway, God bless and have a wonderful day. 👍👍🙂
Hey Brock, I also have the largest size Little Giant and, I love the versatility of its configurations and all of the accessories that make it even more versatile. I am also not a fan of heights, which is why I bought the Wingspan/Wall Standoff that gives me a lot more confidence when it is fully extended and leaning against a solid surface like a house. That said, I see a huge value in having one of these telescoping ladders for travel and quick small jobs. Thanks for continuing to share your story, thoughts and projects with us.
Have to look at the telescope one. I have and love my Little giant but they are heavy. The telescope one would be nice for traveling and carry in my camper. Thanks for the review I gonna look into one.
I know I have become a fan of the Little Giant ladders. Wasn't sure about them at first, but got one and really like the versatility. Plus, since the fold up, they take less space in my garage verses an extension ladder.
I love the little giant. I think overall I’d rather have it than the telescoping ladder but it is nice to be able to throw this little one in a small space if you’re going somewhere.
I did a series on building it. Here is the summary. Complete Quonset Hut Build - From Site Prep to the Final Arch th-cam.com/video/pHPiMC75Idk/w-d-xo.html
The little giant ladder has that weight limit for each rung. Way back when they first came out. They showed the ladder set up as a step ladder. And they had a person on each rung. On both sides of ladder.
Your video showed the biggest drawback of a telescoping ladder: its narrow base. One leg started sinking in and the ladder shifted (6:31) as you started to climb. I advise against using this ladder on soft ground. Imagine would could have happened if you were at the top of the ladder when this happened! The other ladder flared out at the bottom for a wider stance. Have someone at the bottom who can stabilize the ladder. They can also call 911 after you fall!
Howdy Brock! That is a pretty brilliant idea. I have a collection of ladders but don't have a Little Giant. For me it was always something I would 'like' to have, but didn't 'need' to have lol. I can see a lot of advantages with a telescoping ladder. Might take a closer look at them. Nice job with the comparison and thanks for sharing 🤠
I was surprised that the weight rating was higher for the vevor! love my little giant, but was thinking of one of those big orange ladders you have there.
Remember that it's made in China. That weight rating may be overly optimistic or in a very specific configuration. I noticed yellow stickers on two of the steps, which may indicate you're not supposed to step on those rungs depending on far it's extended.
Your videos lately seem to be about anything you can get your hands on. Instead of worrying about posting one everyday try to put some effort into one over a couple days and most people would be more interested. The vevor crap is getting old.

9:20 perfect for getting up to the middle of them power lines.
Fun ladder, though I have a similar. Took me a bit to get use to the flex.
Great video! I'm like you...shaky legs climbing. I hate heights, but you do what you have to do.

That vevor ladder is so cool! I could probably put the hooks over the roof peak and use it for traction during roof work. 👍
It definitely looks handy and portable!

Great video thanks for going through both
Thanks for watching
Thanks for the 5% off and review. Mine is on the way. Short enough to keep in the car so I don’t always have to take the truck. Love your channel.
Thanks

The building looks more interesting then the ladders!

@@JCWren - - Great point!
I have a little giant, i love it, but i also get my fingers pinched almost every time. Lol
I have one 6 foot aluminum step ladder, that's about as high as I want to get!
1:22, now you're just bragging 🤣.
Here comes another T-shirt slogan....
🤪 morning
Good morning
Website says 400lb rating for the 18.5 foot ladder.
That’s a really lite and storable ladder…. The rungs appear the me really far apart though???
They are. That’s a negative to it that I should’ve mentioned, and I didn’t notice it till I was stepping up the ladder.
Buy me one Brock. So I can test it.🙂
👀
Mines bigger, 20ft😂
