I remember back in the day when I used to drive 1960s tape muscle cars and if the exhaust popped it meant your carburetor was an adjusted correctly usually running too rich
I vote D: Early S197 GT500 for half the price and the same performance in a straight line with the same amount put in, because this is America after all, where corners don't matter.
I have to agree there. Early gt500s are killer bang for the buck.

@@olveramelinda he's meaning a positive displacement supercharger not specifically twin screws. Tvs is a different kind of technology but still positive displacement blower.
Best all around Shelby, 350 with a blower. They sound so insane too. Wow
Pro charger has the advantage of not having to remove the strut tower brace. But I honestly would prefer the positive displacement supercharger.
IATs better and consistent with the Procharger - it also requires less maintenance and is extremely reliable.
But have you done any handling upgrades? Like Steeda Rear Subframe Brace, etc?

Yeah it was the first time trying to race the car with the new RXT clutch since break in, I’m getting high rpm lockout going into 4th. The mechanic that installed it thinks we need to shim the slave cylinder so it disengages fully when I push in the clutch. We’ll see if that fixes it I never had that issue with the stock clutch.
@@Prochargedbeast Sorry you are having troubles...I hope you can get it figured out. RXT clutch is worth it, once you have it working well you'll never need another! I'm lucky, my Terminator doesn't use a hydraulic slave, just a regular old throwout bearing and I love my RXT clutch! I don't know how your car is set up but mine has a firewall adjuster and ford performance adjustable cable so I can dial in my clutch to make it work just right. Good Luck brother...let me know how you make out with your clutch!

I'll take the 350r over a hellcat any day. You can actually take turns fast in the 350r where the hellcat is a heavy fat pig that isn't balanced.
The hellcats and demons are very fast but get rid of them before just after 100k miles because all of the hemi's have the oil defect in the block where the roller lifters don't get a nice oil film. Eventually the rollers start sticking and the cam lobes start getting eaten up. High zinc oil can help slow that down but at the cost of premature catalytic converter failures
this is for 5.7 hemis and usually ones with cylinder deactivation aka MDS
As long as you change your oil and keep up with it, the hemi tick won’t occur. Most vehicles with this issues idle a lot (such as police cars) where the oil isn’t changed accurately because of all the idle. For those vehicles you base your oil change on run time instead of miles. Since your miles don’t go up when you idle

I had those crappy Michelin cup two tires on my GT 350 a boy did. They suck especially here in Jersey with the cold weather they just were no good and I wasn’t about to spend money on the 4Swhich I would’ve done if I kept the car.

Have you considered the use of different springs, possibly cradle bracing to ensure good hook? I have an 18 gt350 that I just put springs, bracing, and sway bars...I’m hoping that it amplifies the handling capability of this car! Im all stock otherwise.🤷🏼

I’m getting high rpm lockout in 4th gear, I called my buddy who installed my RXT clutch and he seems to think I need to shim my slave cylinder cause it’s not disengaging enough under load. So we are going to pull the tranny out next week and fix it.

@@Lethal_Venom yes it is the only reason I upgraded my stock clutch is because it started slipping in the upper rpms now I have no slipping but I have lockout!! Damn frustrating.
What psi do you run your P4S's at?
32 normally. Drop them to 25 for a little more rear grip sometimes

Help me out here please. When driving this car with this setup, are you turning off traction control? And why? What is the negative side to doing that? Can it hurt the car/engine by leaving TC on? I love the sound, and the power, but my wife would never ride if it's slipping all over the place like this appears to be.
Turning TC off gives you all the power without the computer taking power away to keep you going straight when your wheels spin. The risk is you can lose traction and control very easily, especially if you don't have good good traction/wider tires on the rear + suspension mods. Learned the hard way myself running 275s in the back while with bare bones suspension while Procharged.
@@motiv8d111 Right. :) Maybe I worded my question wrong. I totally understand what TC does, which is why I leave it on on all my cars (have had many exotics and powerful cars). I just don't trust myself or the car to not decide to do 360's while coming out of a good curve, because I got a little excited with the throttle. hehe. I like the peace of mind. I'm fine with fishtailing a bit upon heavy acceleration and going through the gears. I just don't want to end up like many videos you see where you just can't understand why the dude ended up in a ditch when drag racing from a stop -- obviously TC was off. My question is, with these heavily modified cars that are producing twice the HP it was originally, I see many videos driving with the TC off. Is it because it will break something if you don't turn it off (due to the increase of power)? I'm sure you'd see the orange TC light blinking a lot more than usual. And you might lose a bit on times. But you lose a lot more when the car crashes hehe.
@@vhayne91777 I got ya...They turn it off to get max power at all times without interference from the brain if the car. Nothing will break if they leave it on. Happy Holidays BTW!
