Nice car! I have a 2020 10 Speed Mustang ROUSH Supercharged California Special. Bad ass cars. I would never have expected all the power and crackling I get!
The only reason to boost a GT350 is because you want the manual. Its amazing if you like the visceral part of driving. The GT500 is an awesome car and that DCT is the biggest part of it. To really appreciate the GT350 you have to track it to get the full effect of what that car will do. I wanted boost and a manual, so my 20 GT350 is currently getting the Whipple, McLeod, and all the other supporting mods. As for the track part of it, I’m fortunate enough to have a Heritage R as well.
@@scottclark2413 Zero. Lethal Performance has quite a bit of feedback on these in 350’s as well as Gt’s if you care to look. I’ve been dealing with manuals in mustangs back to the T5’s in the Foxbody’s. I can’t tell you how many people I’ve heard that from over the years. I wish I had a buck for every time some one blamed the clutch or transmission when they missed the 2-3rd shift. There’s always a risk trying to speed shift a car, it’s easy to miss it and screw it up. Many would benefit from learning how to first drive well, then move on to driving fast.
Excellent video. I have a 2017 GT350 and just ordered my Gen 5 Whipple. I included the heat exchanger upgrade and spark plugs. Sounds like I also need to upgrade the Oil Pump Gear which I haven't done. You made me a little nervous about the oil filter. Uggghhh... I hope I don't have that problem. Thanks again the video.
@@LextasyNation Thank you sir. can you think of any other upgrades that I should do. I don't plan to track the car or anything. Just good ole fashion street fun.
Honestly don’t get me wrong, gt500 is the daddy of mustangs but I would do the gt350 because you can make it a monster and save money plus throw that supercharger on there and you are already able to throw down with the gt500
Meh... I have a 19 and it simply doesn't need a Super Charger.... It's not a straight line car. Not supposed to be. It's a GT3 car...If you're going to buy a used one - Buy 19 or 20 - Gen 2 - has all the coolers suspension etc and internals changes. - Keep it stock - It needs nothing else for a real driver.
Sounds good, numbers impressive but spinning isnt winning. Here i come on the street with my awd 600whp/ 600wtq and will walk right away from that thing laughing. Keep up the content bro.
Not the Generation 2 Voodoo which came out in 2019. They worked out all the issues with the car by 2019 when they made changes to the front end for better air flow and cooling and GT500 parts were also added. As well, It also has the upgraded Gen 2 Magneride suspension. And the chassis was tuned to perfection. As close to a Porshe for any American vehicle produced. The car is a complete masterpiece at a reasonable price point. I picked up a used Heritage Edition with only 2500 miles (so very very lucky) and I am going to try and find a GT350R next.
Yes ... around 10K to for a new GT350, 20K for a GT350R and the GT500s are even higher. I went to a big dealer near me and they can't get a GT350. All the Ford Execs and dealers are calling in favors and grabbing up the GT350s.
Thank you for the demo and info 👏🏼👍🏼
And yes I would love to own a Shelby, GT 350 standard .

Any issues with that clutch? I've heard of nightmares, especially shifting into 3rd.

Just check the filter frequently and you’ll be fine! You’ll love the power for sure!

@@scottking3552 honestly not much out there besides aesthetic mods like 350R front lip and spoiler
@@scottking3552 how’d the installation go?
I guess the 3v's used similar OPG's, but since the rods couldn't handle much over 500rwhp that nobody really broke the OPG's.
Definitely miss your Shelby but not gonna lie they are scary! Great video! 👌🏻👍🏻
Thank you!
Hey man
Amazing content as always and love the mustang!!
And let’s just say it doesn’t hurt to have a stang in the drive way
Thanks man! Which Shelby would you do with?

That’s what I enjoy the most bro. I’m always sitting at work and clicking refresh to see if any new comments or views came in. Lol
Well I may email you sometime to talk and get advice about running a TH-cam channel, if you don’t mind
2020 GT500
GT350R all days….easy choice
Love the vids like always. But can you do a sq7 POV video I will love you🥰
How do I do that?
@@LextasyNation do u have a go pro?
Is that Niko from GTA San Andreas?
Id twin turbo a gt350 and swap a t56 magnum
I cringe for any boosted GT350.. on borrowed time and ruined a car that was meant to be NA.
Stick around for the new channel race car maybe this one won’t make you cringe lol

Nice!!! 👍🤘🔥
RWD 400 - 500 HP it´s OK, RWD 500 - 600 HP it´s to much, RWD 800 HP it´s very dangerous and way too much.
Couldn’t agree more!
Idk my R is stock and I wanna do the whipple for more power.
my 350 is 950HP to the crank

I agree bro! That’s why I’m sticking with AWD from now on
aren't gt350 engines more likely to fail if blown ? as compared to a coyote?
The older 2016-2017 had that issue, not the newer ones

dude... all the dealers are jacking up the prices on the GT500s up to 40K so why not go with the GT350 jacked up? Either way, great cars
