Easily the best sounding V8 of the decade, if not longer.
Car looks dangerously unstable every time you upshift.
@@dannyMCDelight looks worse on the camera because of where it is placed. Its just the momentary weight transfer from the rear to the front when he let's off the gas to shift.

Seems like a dream setup, GT350 with that flat plane crank and revs for days on boost with all that sound and fury and handling to go with it and it's gorgeous I need it!!!

I have a Barton on my 17 GT350 and it is night and day overstock. Thank God I past on MGW for these exact reasons. Barton FTW no BS!

You guys are insane. I would love to drive a mustang with that much power. I daily drove a 02 s281 speedster for 11 years and just bought a 08 bullitt with 37k on it. I couldn't imagine 3 times the power lol

It is the shifter. I have an MGW shifter and third gear shifts are hard. I may end up putting another brand in that is not so rigid.

LUND is dialed down because they are not seeking TH-cam clicks, unlike the other tuners bragging about 1000HP

I’m a 2013/14 s197 loyal fan…but this 350R is sexy as hell!! But I still love Shelby s197 13/14. Break a lot of necks and kick ass daily for sure…sure.✌🏼

Probably worse because of extra heat and also harder to use the power without spinning the tires and wrecking.
@@knievel8727 You are correct. I'm about to Whipple my R for street fun. Would never boost if it was dedicated to track only. Few track days here and there should be fine with proper cooling mods. Cars already so well balanced stock you don't need the boost to be a monster on the track either. Boost = street fun. For this car.

That is a tough one. It’s really the decision between auto (dct) and manual.
TH-cam recommended the video you posted a year ago with pretty much an identical title... only difference is the addition of gen 5.

My local dealer hit me up about a grey 2017 5k miles, I was hoping dodge would have made a 909hp hellcat but I don't think so.
For $60k and gen 5 whipple this thing will definitely beat any hellcat lol

Or gen 5, you drove both ,which one fills better to you what r numbers on both horse power and torque on both
I have more on this in the next video. But the Gen 5 definitely makes more torque and boost than the Gen 4 with the same pulley.
Do you guys do road course racing or just high way pulls?
I would love to get into it more one day. Mostly the cost that keeps us away. I have done a few auto x events and would love to get out to the firm soon

Yaree Rod bearings is an easy fix though. Gt350 has oil pump and oil pressure issues
W S not really the oil filter would back out but that’s on some not all not even 15% of them . Rod bearings cost for Bwm tho
Yaree Oil filter? Anyways it’s causing engine failure and the car is relatively new so I wouldn’t be surprised if more cases show up later on as people add miles to it. Rod bearings on the M3 is like a 2k one time job.
W S the oil filter was defective that they put on the car so if you went aftermarket you’re good
Over a 100mph on that road in a residential area.... Not the brightest idea guys..

they make 400whp on any proper dyno (mustang). 525 is a crank hp factory figure.. anyone that says otherwise was on a dynojet or improperly calibrated setup lol

These GT350Rs really are an amazing all around car. Fast in a straight line, streetable, and they handle extremely well.

Which would you choose, stock for stock, and a GT350 not the R model.?
MustangNthusiast it would have to be boosted. And I really would rather have a R because of the spoiler, front lip, wheels, and red accents. The R really looks very different from the standard GT350

He doesn’t state he knows it all but at the same time there’s a reason lund has a majority of the records and tunes the fastest stock sealed gen 3. The lunds know their stuff. Not saying pbd is terrible have a lot of buddies with them.
Hunter Walker that’s just to break records yes it’s badass that’s it’s a sealed gen 3 and went fast . But Alex said it himself that engine isn’t going to last and not all companies want to be setting records. I rather take a reliable engine than some extra HP .I been with palm beach dyno since 6k on my car now at 20k going for 3 years of ownership . Car runs fine . Tell your friends to stop being so picky . It’s a preference of who you want to go with nothing wrong with both tuners they both get down.
Smurfeco 2.3 that’s true but I mentioned that as of a recent feat, I think it’s a testimate to their skill as tuners as well as it is a 10r80 and they kept the motor happy enough to make numerous passes at the power level. They have a couple other record owning cars. To say that PBD is superior I disagree. But to each their own my friend.
Hunter Walker Lund and palm beach dyno are they best . And they all know there things . Remember that some of these tuners came out from other companies such as Alex came from vmp . So all these have shared ideas and I’m sure they still use them . Ken Came from Lund as a lead calibrator . Where is ken now ? Tuning at palm Beach dyno .
