I'm willing to bet that's ten- maybe fifteen- frames per second in the spectate mode. I've played America's Army: Proving Grounds at twenty frames per second, and it's still way better than that.
Honestly, it looks like a college kid's personal project. Looks like for spectator mode, he takes a snap shot of the screen, and blits it to the spector's screen. Problem is, it ain't really optimized. I might be the minority here, but I don't think it's as bad as what people make it to be. Don't get me wrong, it's a mess. But if this was optimized a little bit, it'd probably be an "alright" game (people will still tear it a new one for graphics, animations, etc.)
My guess is when you got booted from the server when you finally did get to play it was because they devs got your bug report and banned you from their servers as a result.
With a total of 12.7 hours on this game i must say i had alot of fun. Yes the servers are dead and have hardly anyone on them and only way you can play is with your friends which i did. There are many things you can do in this game buddy up with a friend and explore and find a sign with russian letters in it and procced to run through a line field. You could alsosit ontop of a mountain and watch one of your friends get harrassed by 7 rattle snakes. As for the gameplay i would rate it around a 6 out of 10. One amazing thing about the gameplay is that your always learning new things it could be how touse a sniper with no scope or you could accidently find out how to walk through walls and kill your friends. The game is also very tactical you have the abilitie to choose what camo to wear so you can blend into the enviroment, another tactical part about this game is the hiding system yes you can use your camo clothing to hide in the ground or you could just hidein one ofthe final buidlings and hide inside a desk draw and wait for the enemy to push you. Overall i believe the game is worth the money and could be worth more if the developers got back in and changed a few things like getting rid of the rattle snakes that kill you more often then players. This has been Doggers game review and i give this game 7 out of 10
