HOW TO GET MORE TURBO SOUND!! F-150 ECOBOOST! **SOUNDS LIKE A DIESEL**

My vta plug made my truck run like crap. 2014 f150 platinum. After 2014 the vta plug is a waste.
Vta meams vent to atmosphere, the tube you are disconnecting comes from the turbos.
How it works is youre disconecting the tube between the turbos and exhaust thus allowing you to hear the air release when you let off the gas.
The issue is that the 2009-14 ecoboost dumps ALL the pressure when you disconect the tube.
If you leave the tube connected there is always allitle pressure in the system so the turbo doesnt have to spool up from scratch.
End result less turbo lag, slightly better gas mileage, and for some reason it can make peoples trucks bog down. Im not sure why but ive experienced the bogging down twice.
A better alternative is a blow off valve. They are more exspensive but you dont have the drawbacks of the vta plug.

I have a 2016 3.5 ecoboost and I put on a cold air intake, and it kept giving me a check engine light. Did you get yours tuned? I’ve tried like three different times doing things such as recalibrating the maf sensor and nothings has worked so far

Is there a cold air intake that you would recommend that is covered? I sold my 2020 just got a 2012 and I want to get a new intake but I had the afe on my 2020 and I went mudding one time without thinking about the open intake 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️thing was caked dude
