The 5” exhaust sounds the best. The 10” tip is way too big for your truck. If it was on a big bore semi truck then yes it’d sound good but that’d be a full 10” stack. A 6” exhaust system is the biggest i’d go on a pickup truck.

I have a 4inch to 8inch tip on my 7.3. I can tell that the bigger the tip the deeper it is. I will say when under load a 4-6inch outlet will have that iconic 7.3 rumble. A 8-12inch outlet will sound more like “mono-tone thunder” under load.
You may want to lean out the fuel mixture a bit. Ik its favorable to roll coal, but power and reliability may lack. Its really up to personal preference tho. You do you, great work on the channel!
i will start doing it. i think the person online that sold me my ICP sensor sold me a dud so now my injectors are all out of wack and i got a service engine light on. thanks!
It would have been easier to tell if you would have shown the idle/revving before and after back and forth a couple of times and then done that with the acceleration and the drive by. Thank you for making the video though
I had a 2001 7.3 that had 390,000 miles when I traded it in. It felt wrong letting it go, but man it was a rough ride at the end. Needed a brand new suspension, ball joints were going out, steering had a lot of give, sensors going out somewhat frequently….but man I never had any problems with the engine. I did tune it and went through two transmissions. Would never tune a truck ever again.
I recommend either a flow master super 10 or cherry bombs if you want it really loud, if you want it louder than stock but still be able to hear the radio and have a conversation then either just a muffler delete or an original 40 series from flowmaster
Same exhaust just with a bigger tip. What exactly is the point? Like putting a sock in your pants but letting it stick out so everyone can see it’s just a sock.
10in looks better plus my opinion and other’s opinions like the deeper sound plus you need a 68mm turbo it will give good spool and Mabey a waste gate for it to just saying man good content

Any diesel fanatic knows unless you’re racing in quarter mile or something along those lines rolling coal is just wasting fuel just saying.
Cool story
we know and dont care
I be embarrassed rolling coal lol 😂 had to get a good runner.
Not to mention a slightly lean condition is preferred in diesels, helps fuel burn and keeps it from cooling off too much when idling.

Ive always wanted a paint can hanging off the back of my truck. Now test those tips on a dyno.
The bigger the better. New to your channel, is that a blow off I’m hearing?
I think the huge one's great because it fits with the whole aesthetic of a rollt truck.
Looks like a ritzy neighborhood. I bet your neighbors love you!
Love the videos and the 4K 60 quality
Smaller tip gave you more focus on your turbey, i run a custom 16’ wide i got made from a buddy huge diff. Super deep growl from no tip.
Putting the 5 inch turbo back on my truck Friday.

Better 7.3L videos for Sinister Diesel than from actual Sinister Diesel
I think 4in exhaust is perfect not too load and not too quiet
I have a 8inch exhaust tips & sounds the same as the 10
Is this straight piped?

Im gonna go with a 5” turbo back to 7” tip 5.9 Cummins
I love how deep the ten inch is

Thanks brotha
As a scrapper I shed a tear when he through away the exhaust tip that’s a few cents in steel that adds up
It'll be okay, friend.

It makes a difference but you gotta put a big tip on each end

Just hydra chip 5 inch turbo back and a cold air intake
You were quite entertaining. 6" for me.

stock turbo?

10 inc for sure!!

Tips give tones to your exhaust
All the dislikes are from the neighbors 💀
I'm gonna try a 8inch axel dump and see how my 7.3 sounds
bigger tip is definitely deeper sounding.. although id almost argue the smaller tip sounds better because its more like a tuner sound?
This video will be in elementary school education, after we recover a little from "the collapse"😅.
I would prefer the biggest exhaust tip
the 10 in sounds better but the 5 in looks better in my opinion
