The final chapter of the Ranked Match climb with Reina Mishima is here! I fought against the BEST King player in America to reach the final rank in TEKKEN 8 - God of Destruction. Thanks to everyone for watching the journey with Reina. I'll start uploading matches with various characters, but will still continue to show off some Reina action from time to time. Enjoy!

It's incredible how a bunch of hellsweeps were the winning formula against this top tier player in the very last match. It's like you came full circle from when you're an utter newbie in your first couple of tekken matches getting rekt by hell sweeps, then being more mindful of them as you progress and understand that that mids are the true danger, only to then lose to hellsweeps again at the highest competitive level.
I get it tho. You DO NOT want to risk a launch from ducking so many just take the quick damage lol
It’s different in high lvl tho, he’s changing the timings of the hell sweeps. Unlike noobs who will do it everytime at the same exact timing. But I get u tho, it’s still the same gameplan lol

not gonna lie.. ive been watching anakin for a long time at big major tekken tournaments and its crazy to see how he plays jack so well.. and then picks up high execution reina and still mops. anakin truly is one of the greatest tekken players to ever touch the game. just watching his youtube videos has pushed my skill further than i thought i could. listen to this man. hes also right that if you havent played tekken in a while... you gonna get that ass beat haha. Also props to Jesandy for bringing the damn "heat" pun intended haha.
Not many know how to counter Reina yet, so there's that lol.
Anakin always had really good execution. It's less flashy when he's playing Jack but you'll absolutely see how efficient his movement is in tournament. Hell, Saint is known in the Korean scenes for having some of the best execution in the world and he also played Jack.

Nice video always so helpful to see you play. I played a lot of fighting games but always casually and never got into the mechanics except for Mortal Kombat. I have 1000 of hours in MK series and 200 in 1 alone. I'm around god rank but I started to get really bored of it and started Tekken 8 it's my first time getting really into Tekken and I get my ass beat all the time, it's so much and I can't seem to get used to the mechanics. However I can't give up, someday I'll reach higher ranks, your videos are very motivating for this. :)

He's not new or busted enough it seems.
I play him. I like him better than so called easy characters like Azucena. Not too much bullshit going on, focus on fundamentals with some strong moves. Easy to play. He is not a spammy character like Law, Hwoarang, Victor etc, probably why he is not played much.

He's a very consistent character that can do a lot of damage people don't play him because he's lacks charisma

When you get a knockdown push both kick buttons and you can’t catch them on wake up and also mixup your hellsweep so if the duck u land

@@seen524 no no the game is amazing I myself don’t have the game my last tekken is T7 my main is also jack highest rank with him is true tekken god Anakin is my boy definitely a major influence on me and I developed a sort minimalist playstyle because of him meaning I like characters that are all around like jack Leo shaheen etc anyways all that to say it seems like so far a lot of people are posting their ranks with their character some examples like joe crush ( another influencer of mines also a jack main ) in forget the guys name but he’s a Paul main and a few others have posting like their ranks saying things worlds number 1 Paul or number this or that or highest rank this character that character I kind of miss the good O days when people kinda fought each other for the heck of it don’t get me wrong rank has been apart of tekken now since forever but remember back in the T5dr days when knee qudans nin 200won and all those guys would just post their matches up online to see I don’t even think it was a rank match but it was just competitive now it seems like that sort of face off is gone it’s all about rank
@@DekemaStokes they want high ranks because the matchups would generally be with the top players. That way they can easily learn new techs from other players of the same levels as opposed to being on a lower rank.

He will always play Jack only in tournament. You'll see him reach this rank with lots of different characters in the future but that doesn't mean he'll play them in tournament.

No, only way to lose ranks is getting demoted

Why does he keep saying he wont player her in tournaments?? I get that it is his job and Jack is a safety net, but I feel like I've seen more content on my feed of him and Reina than any other character!
While the game is still new, I’m enjoying my time playing new characters. Even if Jack turns out to be weak in this game I’d like to give it a chance in tournaments anyway because I have the most exp with him
@@TkAnakinDear Anakin, even if you have exp with Jack. Reina should be your weapon for tournaments with Jack as back up.

bro, please help. Whenever i use Reina, i always seem to be doing well in the first half, then suddenly my opponent does 2 mixes and now 80% of my health is gone, meanwhile whenever i use Reina and do her hellsweeps and whatnot, they do a tiny 1% of there health

How do you guys feel about the ft3 rank matches? I kinda miss being able to deathmatch in ranked it takes me a few matches sometimes to see their habits and adjust my gameplan. I also wonder why they took away how many matches you have won? Im loving the game ofc just the ft3 im not the biggest fan personally.
I think it's fair it kinda stops people from farming others. I think they should have the option like SF6 where you can just go into a private match with whoever you went up against if you wanna run longer sets.
