ASMR galore bro. Sounds well-put together, but man, it yearns for the red seats with that polymetal

Yea. Agreed. Figured I would try something new. If I do it again it will be much improved over this trial run.

This is a fantastic idea for a video and I have to say, the Mazda makes a lot of pleasant sounds.

Sounds pretty solid no rattles or anything like that from what I could heard 👍🏻
A lot better than the EQS that’s for sure haha! (just watched a short on all its squikiness 💀)

Have not paid much attention to Mercedes electrics. May get to drive one next month.

This might be the reverse of what a lot of buyers have been asking for, but I wish I could get a barebones Mazda 3 turbo with cloth seats and no sunroof. Less things to break and the cloth seats stay a lot cooler in the summer where I find black leather interiors to get way too hot

Thanks for watching. That would be a great trim to start some mods on. It’s a little at odds with Mazda’s up market aspirations but I think a lower cost light weighted turbo would be a hit. Toyota is knocking it out of the park right now with their GRs. Not the cheapest but an enthusiast choice.

I really want to upgrade from my Nissan Altima to something like this. Maybe in a year or two, I’ll pick up the 2024 after it depreciates. I’ve seen 2023s with around 5k miles go for nearly $25k.

Good plan! Used car depreciation is getting slowly back to pre Covid levels. Good for used car buyers but not for new buyers. Thanks for watching and happy motoring.

I'd still get a Mazda 3 knowing I will modify it to fix the handling weakness.

Yea, this turbo 3 with some suspension mods and better tires would really bring out the best of this excellent AWD system.

My 2024 mazda 3 rear door sounds horrible. 😢

      How so?

@BeyondTheTestDrive It sounds terrible, especially when you are inside and closing the door. Mazda has cheapened out the 2024 model, the rear speakers are gone, my car doesn't even have pocket behind passenger's seat, chromes are now plastic painted silver matt. Car doesn't come with floor mats. There a huge gap between two halves of the tail lights, front bumper is so flimsy. Unvelievable. The sound it makes when you close the door while sitting inside is atrocious, unbecoming, and uncalled for, for such an expensive car, and more so a Mazda.
You really have to guide the rear doors all the way, otherwise they won't close, that light they are now.

sorry to hear all that. Did you cross shop with other brands before you purchased? Mazda has not really changed too much since the 3 came out in 2019. Our 2022 sedan has only one seat back pocket and real chrome not on plastic is hard to find on any mainstream car. And if your doors do not close properly probably worth a trip to the dealer. There should be no reason they need to be ‘guided’ closed.

@BeyondTheTestDrive The problem is I went with the base model that is hard to find in showrooms. Here, people usually order base model from new. When I test drove Mazda 3 Exclusive version, I was promised that the only difference would be in few options Like keyless entry, automatic AC, rain sensor, front parking sensor and 18 inch wheels. Now the car has arrived, I see that the differences are not just that. Mazda has robbed me off big time, because the difference between exclusive model and base model was onky 1500 euro, but without even stating it in the brochure, mazda has cut off many things and the quality is awfully bad compared to the exclusive version. For example, the opening/closing sound of exclusive version is much better than the base model. They have removed sound deadening fabrics of the cargo apace, o floor mats, there are no rear speakers. The panel gap of the lights are horrible, the ligtes aren't even sitting on the same line. The car is made in Hofu Japan, but looks like dogs and cats were placed in assembly line of the base model.
Manual shifter is so hard that your arm will be so stressed when trying to put in 1st and 2nd.
The undercoating is so bad that its like grease applied. I removed some of it just by touching it. Now i am planning to sue and return the car to the dealer for refuld or exclusive version.
Why would Mazda do such a thing, especially when they ask for the full price for just removing a few options yiu don't want.
      Are you listening Mazda?

      @ampm9771 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

@BeyondTheTestDrive I did, i only tested the higher trims. Mazda does not state in brochures in what condition the base model is made.
