Not true, it was possibly not applied correctly I believe and for a 1st attempt I totally get that…I feel Invisishield should advise a slip agent to help move the film into position same as on cars. I’ve fitted over 50 of these kits they are all solid after 2+ years. They need time to adhere correctly and never push bubbles out, the air eventually pulls the adhesive and substrate onto the metal and it bonds solidly like when fitting expel onto a car. The secret is to get the edges fitted well and when the water has eventually evaporated it wont lift… They should always be left for 48 hrs before wearing and allowed to set properly… I think you fitted it fairly well but it’s around 4 hours to fit correctly and have a lifetime of protection. I am wondering if the fact the watch is brushed has had a negative effect because of the air and bonding agent not grabbing correctly, on stainless and precious metals its flawless…. The kits in fairness are designed for a shiny surface as it’s never going to give a satin finish as an end result…

My God please take the film off that watch. That isn’t just a nice watch it is a really special watch. I understand you don’t want scratches, but this is an injustice. Remove the watch, wear it on special occasions and get another everyday beater
