Trading or Selling Your Omega? Find Out How To Max Out Its Value!
Roman, I know that was probably weird discussing your finances. I think its in bad taste to ask someone that. I realize that was a question people wanted answered, but, ugh, I dont like people prying like that. Its irrelevant.
Great information. I think most of us that follow Roman want to know the details. He’s a true inspiration. Good Job. 👍
What is LB?
Who cares about Rolexes , Over rated
Well well well
The pride comes when you know that you bought a watch that is 98% Rolex and saved 20k.
Trading a VC DT for an APRO Offshore is simply insane...
Great and informative. I never knew this existed for watches. Have all my cars PPF’d. Great idea
I have gen Rolex’s, and Frankensteins. And after building some reps ( for myself. Never to sell) I will never buy a full gen Rolex again. Ever. I have a 16610 that the only thing after market is the movement. And it cost me about 2900 to build
It looks better on polished surfaces
PP is a fashion brand and watches are a huge part of fashion. The fact they look like well known brands is just great for the consumer. Very few people can afford a Richard Mille. They look good and the quality is what you’d expect from the price point.
The only thing I like about their watches is the packaging! It’s surreal and unique
No expensive watches in risky places. Last place to wear an expensive piece is near a very high end watch store. Hide it.
Don’t think it’s anyone’s business what Roman is worth
Having a Rolex certified by a pro is important because of the prevalence of super fakes
Can’t find his instagram ? What’s his name
Great episode
Should you ever give your Rolex serial numbers out ?
“We offer loans against your watch”= “We found a fancy way yo say ‘Pawn Shop’”
The Vacheron Constantin Overseas Tourbillon Skeleton is the best watch Ive ever seen
20-25% off the lowest price? These 'honest' watch talks from dealers are second-rate non-fiduciary financial advisors. Selling you stock they have a position in. You guys are just trying to scare watch owners into accepting your lowballs. Same tenet as a car dealership, there's a conflict of interest with their advice to the public. They make money off you.
Christ more TH-cam know it alls
Just bought a $40 and a clean duper for $300. I want to compare
I have the black twotone..whats it called? The blacksie?
keep going down
I thought dude was Adam Sandler
At the high end, Hublot watches are heavily discounted in the secondary market. If you like it, then get it. Just don’t pay full retail.
super clones are fantastic, no need to wait or spend millions , no tears when stolen or damaged
Fakes are better than the original in all aspects
Its like wearing a condom, yeah it doesn't feel the same, but at least you're safe😂
Avi is annoying
Vacheron Constantin Overseas > Rolex Daytona
6:04 “I lost money doing this” “how” bro did not catch his drift 😂
A lot of these fake tells are fake themselves. As I see it there are 3 types of Rolex watches. First, the all original everything - with the classic, legendary aging, patina, light but unique scratches, fading face, etc. Second the watch that has parts replaced with "new" new when repaired/cleaned at Rolex. And third, the watch that has parts replaced with "original" new when repaired/cleaned at Rolex. I have a GMT with serial number verified by Rolex as circa 1959. Every 5-7 years or so, it goes to Rolex for a cleaning/refresh. It looks "brand new" with the look it had in 1959. Nobody asks if it is a fake, but they do ask when I got it. I tell them it is about 65 years old.
New Subscriber Here! Love the channel you have inspired me and my channel....blessings to you all
Thanks for the video. I am considering this route for my TT Sky Dweller but mostly just for the clasp and maybe the sides of the case and lugs.
I actually have a question after watching your very revealing video. I recently traded in several high end timepieces with a watch dealer who specializes in preowned timepieces from practically every manufacturer, the likes of Audemars Piguet, Rolex, IWC, Patek. The store has been operating in the Diamond District in NYC since 1984. They are members of the Chamber of Commerce, BBB, Jewelers Vigilance Committee and the International Watch & Jewelers Guild. The timepieces I traded in enabled me to get the Rolex Deepsea 18k gold with box and papers. Everything was in mint condition. The warranty card had an NFC chip which took me directly to Rolex’s website, but didn’t provide me any info about my watch. HOWEVER the model number and serial number were on the warranty card and were raised and you could feel them with your fingers. The green ‘Superlative Chrinometer’ hang tag was in the a Rolex box as was the green booklet. After watching your video I gave the rotating bezel a full turn and each and every click had a nice and solid sound. The crown engraving on the crystal was impossible to find without my loupe and even with the loupe it wasn’t easy. The back of the case had some kind of weird clear sticker on the titanium caseback with a small sliver of a green crescent shaped tag ( don’t know how else to describe it) There were two of these green crescent shaped tags on opposite sides of the titanium caseback and seemed to be part of the clear sticker covering the caseback. The watch weighed EXACTLY 318.56 grams and was in line with what a couple of magazine reviews mentioned, namely “almost 320 grams” in one article, and “320 grams” in another article. So I reattached the green Superlative Chronometer hang tag by its string and re-weighed the watch. It weighed exactly 320 grams. When I held the watch at an angle under a bright light the side of the 5.5mm crystal, the outside rim that is ever so slightly protruding, has the EXACT same play of light when you turn the actual watch in your hand as the 360 degree interactive image of the watch on Rolex’s website when you spin the 3D image on your screen with your finger. I timed the watch and it was slightly better than Rolex’s +- 2 seconds a day. It also ran for 70hrs after a full wind of the crown. The winding of the watch was smooth, pulling out the crown was firm for each setting. SO MY QUESTION IS THIS: after googling :Rolex Deepsea 18k Super Clone, and coming across a website that claims to have the exact same specs, even claiming to have the same weight “down to a nano” as they put it, mentioning that their super clone is 904L steel wrapped in 18k gold, with “parts that can be interchanged with the original” how can I be sure that my watch is the real deal? I think that my comfort is that the dealer is a reputable dealer who has been in business since 1984, that the warranty card has an NFC chip, and has the same model number and serial number as is the case on the rehaut of the watch, and the way the bezel clicked. Here is the link to the super clone. They did mention that their watch has a cyclops date, but I know that the Rolex Deepsea doesn’t have a cyclops date. They also could be using real photos to sell their super clone. www.swisstime1.sr/rolex-deepsea-gold-blue-dial-ceramic-bezel-18k-yellow-gold-wrap-904l-steel-44mm-136668lb-swiss-made-replica-super-clone.html
Bro has no idea what he is talking about
"Mazal" in morocco mean " not yet "
These guys are basically admitting that most of their customers buy expensive watches to show off.
I am thinking about picking up a Batman but hate paying over msrp. That is the only thing stopping me right now.
Have you guys done a video talking about watch condition. I was sold a watch that was NIB, never worn, pristine condition. When I received the watch it was so scratched and scuffed up, it was clearly a department store floor model that had been abused for a long time. I was pissed. The seller offered a return but still claimed it was pristine. I declined as I have the ability to polish/clean it but when I bought it, I was not emotionally prepared to have to do that...
A fired man
That’s not even what it means lol. It means “luck” or “fortune” or “good fortune” lmfao
I like them, but they are expensive for what they are
Rolex does have a see through caseback on the new platinum Daytona.
"Mazal u' Bracha", or more commonly "Mazal", is the traditional phrase used in the diamond industry when sealing the deal, usually accompanied with a handshake. With Gemology and diamond industry often referred to as the 'Jews Science', it is no surprise that the term originates from Hebrew language, meaning "With Fortune & Blessings". It is widely believed that the Jews of Amsterdam - which became a large diamond trading center following the expulsion of the Jews from Spain in 1492 - were the first to use the phrase. Some believe the word originates from Ugaritic Language, referring to celestial bodies and their power and ability to affect destiny… The tradition of saying the phrase with a handshake is widely spread due to the industry's reliability on verbal contract, mutual trust, integrity and reputation, rather than documents and signatures, to close multi-million dollars transactions and business deals. Outstanding Job Alex keep up the great work man!! Let the haters hate man!
Rather exsausting and stressful getting into this market. Beginging to wonder if it might be better to just get a a few Squales or Hamiltons.
I don’t think I’ve seen a ap with a rubber strap
