That is true, the main reason people buy it is because its easy to replace and they can see if they like it or not. I don't currently owned a gen rolex but I'm currently in a wating list for one. I currently have 1 tudor, 2 omegas, 1 ginault, and 3 replicas that cost between $500-$800 each. There's actually people that will go an extra step on installing gen parts on a replica, which is called a franken/Frankenstein, this will normally cost about $2k-$5k.
I think it's just because they are the most famous/popular watches in the world, actually. That's why there's so much of an effort to produce great fakes, because that's where the most money will be for the fakers. I don't think it's about availability. Rolex is without a doubt a beautiful piece of Swiss engineering. But equally, ridiculously over priced for what you get. You are not buying quality, you are buying marketing. That’s why there are super clones. Imagine this, in the 80’s a Rolex was 1-4 weeks average salary, depending on model. Now they want 20k+?! Whatever, buy the clone and you’ll accomplish the same thing. If you want something real with long lasting quality, go get an Oris. One of the few independent watchmakers left. And shockingly…… they’ll cost you 1-4 weeks average salary. You’ll wear it every day for 50 years and all it will need is service every 10.
There are better superclones out there than the one you got. The rehaut was off on the superclone in the video. The letters should line up perfectly with the indicies. There are 2 factories in china known for 1:1s. Only way to tell is to open the case. And even then, its not wasily noticed.
It kind of begs the question of whether or not you are getting quality and craftsmanship from Rolex, or just a brand. I have always thought of things like a Lamborgini or Rolex were priced the way they are due to craftsmanship and the quality of materials. Not a necessary expenditure for most, but something over the top for people with the means. The author is incorrect about the Rolex engraving or Rehaut. The hour marker or hash is supposed to bisect the R not line up perfectly. Also, a slight variation in the alignment is acceptable. This is per Rolex service center.

And because the equipment used is so high-end/expensive and the hand-crafting skills are expensive per/hour to assemble the pieces, fakes will never be as good as the originals. That is why they don't use rolex-style movements inside the watch, they use mass produced ETA or SH movements that come already assembled and just drop them into the cases. To have a big team of watch makers assembling replica of real movements would drive the replica prices up over $10k easily, because it takes so long to assemble and do checks such as balancing, frequency etc on the movements.
It is a thousand times harder to “sell” the watch you have designed and made yourself. That’s why branding is often the most valuable part of the product!…and why, as difficult it is to do a near-perfect replica is a thousand times more profitable to make and sell.
I bought a fake Rolex 28 years ago in NY, I paid 100 dollars then. When I got back I saw it wasn't working so I took it to a watchsmith, told him it was a fake in case he felt uncomfortable and the enxt day he told me that it didn't work because it didn't have a battery as I had assumed. He said that it was the same movement as a real Rolex and worked with the arm movement. I still have that watch and it still keeps perfect time. The only problem is the bracelet so I ordered another clone online which I haven't received yet. I bought it to use when travelling as I do have several watches, all real including a real Rolex but these days I don't feel comfortable wearing it. My ex almost got his head shot off for his Tag Heur ! No way. The same with bags, I have a Birkin but bought a clone for travelling, I can't afford to replace it.
got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on amzwatch 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. It is a comfortable jacket, the version is very good, it has not lost its shape, and there is a special pocket on the inside of the clothes, which is very convenient to put some change without worrying about losing it. Rolex is without a doubt a beautiful piece of Swiss engineering. But equally, ridiculously over priced for what you get. You are not buying quality, you are buying marketing. That’s why there are super clones. Imagine this, in the 80’s a Rolex was 1-4 weeks average salary, depending on model. Now they want 20k+?! Whatever, buy the clone and you’ll accomplish the same thing. If you want something real with long lasting quality, go get an Oris. One of the few independent watchmakers left. And shockingly…… they’ll cost you 1-4 weeks average salary. You’ll wear it every day for 50 years and all it will need is service every 10.

There are better superclones out there than the one you got. The rehaut was off on the superclone in the video. The letters should line up perfectly with the indicies. There are 2 factories in china known for 1:1s. Only way to tell is to open the case. And even then, its not wasily noticed.

It kind of begs the question of whether or not you are getting quality and craftsmanship from Rolex, or just a brand. I have always thought of things like a Lamborgini or Rolex were priced the way they are due to craftsmanship and the quality of materials. Not a necessary expenditure for most, but something over the top for people with the means. If this company can make a near perfect replica of this watch and sell it for a tenth of the price, is the real one worth it?

I just got into watch collecting. I've loved watches since I was young but I never had anyone teach me or bring deeper into the world. amzwatch brought closer to a community and hobby I always wanted to get into more and that is incredibly meaningful to me !

The hour marker or hash is supposed to bisect the R not line up perfectly. Also, a slight variation in the alignment is acceptable.

I'd never buy a fake watch, but this is pretty crazy. It's harder to replicate someone else's design accurately, than it is to make your own.

And because the equipment used is so high-end/expensive and the hand-crafting skills are expensive per/hour to assemble the pieces, fakes will never be as good as the originals. That is why they don't use rolex-style movements inside the watch, they use mass produced ETA or SH movements that come already assembled and just drop them into the cases. To have a big team of watch makers assembling replica of real movements would drive the replica prices up over $10k easily, because it takes so long to assemble and do checks such as balancing, frequency etc on the movements.
It is a thousand times harder to “sell” the watch you have designed and made yourself. That’s why branding is often the most valuable part of the product!…and why, as difficult it is to do a near-perfect replica is a thousand times more profitable to make and sell.

I bought a fake Rolex 28 years ago in NY, I paid 100 dollars then. When I got back I saw it wasn't working so I took it to a watchsmith, told him it was a fake in case he felt uncomfortable and the enxt day he told me that it didn't work because it didn't have a battery as I had assumed. He said that it was the same movement as a real Rolex and worked with the arm movement. I still have that watch and it still keeps perfect time. The only problem is the bracelet so I ordered another clone online which I haven't received yet. I bought it to use when travelling as I do have several watches, all real including a real Rolex but these days I don't feel comfortable wearing it. My ex almost got his head shot off for his Tag Heur ! No way. The same with bags, I have a Birkin but bought a clone for travelling, I can't afford to replace it.

got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on amzwatch 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.

11:30 Waterproofing is the easiest option. Just use real silicone or teflone o ring for back cap and square ring for front glass. They cost cents and available in plumbers supply stores from 90s. Silicone and teflon in plumbing seals holds pressure up to 20 bar and also temperatures up to 160°C for decades.
Nothing wrong with buying a super clone. It's much better than wearing a 20k on your wrist at night. Watches became too much of an investment instead of enjoyment of wearing them. -Oh no it will loose it's retail value!

Rolex doesn't pay 10k for their watches, they probably would lose a bit more than the cost of a super clone if one of their watches is stolen. I am pretty sure a lot of watches Rolex has on display don't have a movement in them anyways.

I use *amzclothes* as my commuting clothes, and I have no problem with it. It is a comfortable jacket, the version is very good, it has not lost its shape, and there is a special pocket on the inside of the clothes, which is very convenient to put some change without worrying about losing it. I don't need a backpack when I wear it out. I love it so much

Rolex and other high end watch brands are oversold even though the super clones are in the market, how can the fake watches hurt Rolex when rolex is oversold? Yes if you talk about brands like cartier then i would agree that a high end cartier watch replica would definitely hurt the cartier brand given the quality of clones. Since no one likes brands like cartier, Bulgari, Hublot etc i would classify them as being the micro brands and not dedicated status symbol watch brands. If the replicas of cartier would be sold with such high precision and accuracy then ofcourse cartier will have to shut down it’s watch department. But for Rolex super clone i would say there is no chance it hurts the ROLEX brand.
