Protect your Rolex and Stop Scratches on the Polished Links

  • I decided to put a watch protection kit onto my latest purchase from Rolex as I wanted to keep my new watch free from scratches and damage.
The watch protection kit protects the polished clasp and case of the watch.
Rolex, Pateks and APs have highly polished areas on their watch are very prone to scratches, so I am hoping this kit keeps my Rolex GMT Sprite looking brand new.
I have also read that the film is multi layered meaning if you scratch the film it can be heated up with a hair dryer and the scratched area will heal out.
The material is also suitable for water, meaning you can still swim in your watch after applying the PPF kit.
I will make an update video in a couple of months time to see how the kit has handled real life wear and tear.
You can purchase this kit for your watch at STYX Watch Protection. The company kindly sent me this kit and agreed for me to give a fair an unbiased review of their product.

I’ve done the same to my 3 Rolex watches. My friends laugh, but I don’t care. Nice to keep them scratch free and you don’t really notice the stickers anyway

If I'd fear to scratch my watch because of the price, then it's too expensive to me and I'd rather buy a cheaper piece. If you take your watch as an investment, then leave it in box, hidden in safe.

    • @Experienceitwithadam

This product is a solution to the exact issue. You have commented loud someone who owns the luxury watch to wear their watch without fear becoming damaged or scratched. I don’t see the problem with an owner of the watch, wanting to keep it nice and in the states that it was originally born in the same way that people wrap , luxury cars, prevent Stone chips

In my opinion, not needed for watches on jubilee but just the clasp. Don't need if tor the side of the case or tops of lugs. I would just install on PM or polished center links, not need for brushed oyster bracelets. PPF on the case itself ruins the nice line and curves of the timepieces in my honest opinion. What floats my boat may not do yours :)

Best way to stop your Rolex getting scratched is to sell it and purchase a far better quality and much better value for money brand.
