I personally dont think tags are a good idea because what about owner trained dogs. Not all service dogs are from comapanys.

Recently I encountered 6 fake service dogs while out in public with my service dog in training, two of them tried to lunge at us and the store owners did NOTHING

i personally feel that you should be able to ask if they could show a task- not all of them just one or two. If its an alert dog that may be heard though ; - ; so maybe have a test done on your dog to get something that proves the dog is really a sd.

So you want people to have seizures so a store knows the dog can alert or respond? They only have to know one task or work. You just didn't think this through, did you?

@@sdigf3167 i did think it through actually, seizure service dogs have more tasks than reacting to a seizure. like dpt. also, they only have to know one tasks but its VERY likely they dont :/

@@user-gh5yt6li2u You can't dictate to a disabled person what tasks/work a dog must do. Also, dog who don't task would not be able to demonstrate on command. How would an allergy alert dog "demonstrate" the behavior? You could ruin their training and burn them out by making them demonstrate many times a day. What about diabetes dogs? I know many, many dogs who only have one task or work. Plus, it would be extremely easy to fake a task. All you would have to do is teach a dog to nudge you. Or you could claim a mobility dog. It's good you are thinking about it, but the law was deliberately written the way it is for very good reason.
